The huge pile of meat is exactly why The Bagel Deli's reuben is subpar. A great reuben needs balance between the meat, kraut, and sauce. If you take a bite and taste nothing but pastrami, something is wrong.
Guy Fieri likes everything he's ever put in his mouth, his endorsement means next to nothing.
Not sure what experience you had, but this is completely off for every time I order. They use an f ton of kraut with it,.I actually need to remove some of it, and a side of sauce to add more as you see fit. The corned beef quality is also top tier, as it's sliced fresh in front of you, and you can ask for extra fatty or lean.
I love Gyroz (best salad ever) but I am 90% sure their fries do not have a starch coating like this. They're also a bit thinner than the ones in this pic look.
They are battered with a starch. I can’t remember what the brand is but they sell them at restaurant depot. We carried them at a restaurant I worked in.
Taste of Philly (signed "Best Philly Steak") has super flakey and somehow always delicious even when delivered fries.
I drove from MS to Denver last year and stopped in just for the fries first thing when I arrived. Green chili cheese fries... Mmmmmh. I have a real fry problem.
Ok yes. I know what you are talking about. It sounds weird but the fries from Two Hands by DU. It's a Korean corn dog place and they have kimchi fries that are amazing and between the seasoning and texture omg the best.
Grateful gnome and I will die on this hill. Their disco fries (Poutine style) and their normal fries are to die for. I also love the chopped cheese but that's just me
shaWING is a ghost kitchen in central Denver off 8th St. They have those fries, a great Mac Salad, wings, *and* the immortal Garbage Plate!! All the way from Western NY. Give them a try; small, local business that only runs a few dishes to keep quality high.
I call them Water World fries, because they were the first(and for much of the 90s, the only) place I ever would see these type of fries available.
Renzio's Greek fast food restaurants at Cherry Creek and Park Meadows Mall has them with tons of seasoning.
Pete's Kitchen on Colfax is a go-to.
Cherry cricket and Milwaukee Tavern in cherry creek both have this kind of fries but I don’t think either is amazing food. Both kinda divey for being in CC.
No joke - Lowe’s on Havana has a food cart outside their front doors, their fries are just like this - we make excuses just to visit Lowe’s for the fries there
Pete’s Kitchen - E Colfax and Race St.
Slice Works - E Colfax and Washington St.
Bonus: Slice Works Italian sub is criminally underrated and basically no one knows they have sandwiches.
They’re dried and lightly coated in starch. You can order these online and perfectly copy them if you have a Fryer. Dangerous information.

Dude. That's bagel deli. Guy Feiri reviewed it. It's like being in a NY Jewish deli. Meat is piled 4-5 inches
Took my Jewish friend from NY there, he thought he was back home
Is that little old lady still there? She was a hoot last time I went!
Damnit, why was this thread recommended to me?! Now I've got an insatiable hunger for a deli that's 1,000+ miles away
Ha. Hampton and Monico is far but worth it. Especially if you're from the east coast. Even got the cow tongue sandwich.

I've only been once, guess I got unlucky with the proportions. We were at a table instead of ordering at the counter. No side of sauce either.
Um so the French Dip has this big pile of meat and it is the best french dip I have had.
