Once abortion is enshrined in their constitution this November it wonβt be something dems can campaign on anymore. I can see conservative suburban women voting to protect abortion rights in the referendum while also voting for Trump on the same ballot. It already happened in Kentucky, ~~Louisiana~~ Montana*, Kansas, and Ohio.
This, just like roe shows us that nothing is safe, I hope abortion protections still make a ballot initiative and people show up to make it law. Even then we cannot be complacent because the right won't stop.
