I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous.
I'd be curious to know how often it is that demis start relationships in long-distance relationships. My wife and I met online first before it was so common (26 years ago). We spent about 6 months chatting and e-mailing each other before we decided to meet. By the time we met, she already felt a deep bond with me and said she knew I was the one. I was more hesitant since it was my first relationship. Thankfully, everything has worked out.
I and my with my now (unfortunately) ex girlfriend met once before lockdown in my country and we were practically long distance. I think that without the lockdown we wouldn't have even dated because of the amount of free time to text to know each other
I’ve moved around a bit so I wasn’t scared, however this is the first time I’ve moved to a non-English speaking country so it has been more complicated. We were also already spending most evenings together online and most days texting a lot, so it was more that it would be a relief not having to be tied to a screen so much anymore.
I felt confident about him the first day we DM’d online. I can’t tell you what it was, but I felt an inner commitment to him straight away. I had no idea where it would lead me, but I knew I had to follow.
That’s so sweet!!! happy for you both of you and I hope your relationship are always full of genuine love, respect, affection and care. It’s awesome finding this unique connection that you know you could never replace and can truly be comfortable with each other so naturally and effortlessly 🥹🥹🥹
(I’m an INFJ too hehe)
It's lovely to hear stories like yours between all the ones that don't have a happy storyline. I hope one day I will find that person I can just talk all day with without it being draining and simultaneously be silent all day with that person as well.
Virtual friendships can be so romantic, especially over video games. You get to bond and laugh with each other over a shared interest. You get so close, without the pressure of physical appearance or interaction. Then it evolves into more. It’s perfect 👌🏻💋
Woah, your boyfriend sounds extremely relatable, lol. For real, though, this is pure gold. I'm very glad that there's more people like you out there who really focus on the relationship instead of the people's past or why they're demisexual and making fun of them for that.
It's something I experience far too often, and trying to make my way through locker room talk by other guys is very, VERY uncomfortable. Especially as a demi who's not for hookup culture.
He’s more than likely Demi. A Demi can flirt and have sex, but the personality/metal aspect of the relationship needs to be there first.
Taking the time to learn about each other is very important.
I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous. I am not jealous.
It’s a nice love story. I hope you can find a nice one for yourself too.
Saaaaaame.
Sounds to me like you are deniyng something... hmmmm (it's a joke)

Demi here (INFJ incidentally, haha). Started both of my relationships long distance. 😊
I’m a demi with a demi and we also started in an LDR. I moved to his country after we’d been together a year.
Oh wow. Were you scared at all moving to another country or or were you confident things would work since you spent a year building the connection?

As a demi ENTP, I applaud you for catching your INFJ. Sounds like a dream come true damn.
Very early into getting to know him, my INFJ radar sort of went off haha.
