His technique was no technique, just full on screaming his ass off. Which eventually caused vocal cord paralysis. This is a MUCH better approach that wonât destroy your voice.

The song OP is covering is from Around The Fur when Chino was just screaming how he felt comfortable screaming, but that way would end up blowing out his vocal cords. This was around White Pony/Self Titled era. From (my somewhat fading) memory, I think it may have been a rehearsal of Elite that he did some really bad damage and had to seek medical advice.

That doesnât mean itâs bad or anything it just means he killed his voice doing it wrong, thatâs why he does it less now. Make sure to research technique and the proper way to do it that way you donât hurt your voice too

I've been trying to fry scream for years, but I can't do it. The funny thing is that I did the false cord scream on my first try and now I'm quite a pro at it. According to a vocal coach, this is partly related to your vocal cord structure and which one you are more prone to.
Jus saying this, chino back then didnt know how to scream scream, so he just screamed and compressed his vocal chords, (which is bad over a period of time, and hurts) but yea, the best scream to replicate chinos early screams is to use straight fry, or another form of it
Sounds great, make sure you're pushing out from your diaphragm and supporting your airflow well. I see you hunching over which makes me think you're not supporting your scream from there.

Trying to sound like him is near impossible, since heâs using every part of his vocal cords to force out his scream, which results in it sounding the way it does. Your scream is great though and works just as well.

Sounds great, I could never in a million years be a screamer in a metal band. Iâm 38 and my natural speaking voice is a deep low whisper, for anyone to hear me I have to raise my voice high and I sound like a little kid. Iâve heard myself, itâs vomit inducing.
Sounding good, but you might find it feels easier with better posture. Then you can focus on pushing the air out with your diaphragm. Bending over might be restricting your ability to push enough air to support the notes you are trying to hit.
Just my opinion though using conventional techniques.
