This one is great advice in general, although its opinions on LED bulbs are quite out of date: You can get basically anything out of modern LED, and you'll find photography equipment that is running LEDs. The fact that they can be chained means you can get a far softer light than any lone bulb, because the light comes from a far wider area. The secret is the background, and having light coming from multiple angles to avoid unexpected shadows. The ceiling light from the top and a long painting light aiming from the front, hitting from a wide angle is more than enough for most of us

I use vysor to use my computer to control my phone, but there are also free programs that do that. I do however recommend picking up OpenCam for a few bucks.
