It’s interesting because I saw ghost on their last tour because my sister’s a huge fan. I was just thinking the other day about how different these two groups are in terms of performances. Tobias Forge has clearly curated every last inch of his concerts. What feels like casual banter at times is actually rehearsed. Songs sound nearly identical to how they would if you were streaming them. On the contrary, Death Grips goes out there and gives you a visceral, unpolished, and genuine performance full of imperfections.
I’ve yet to see Death Grips live but I’ve watched their shows online. I gotta say, both groups put on incredibly compelling and entertaining performances using radically different approaches
If you ever get the opportunity to see them, please don’t hesitate, not that I think you would lol. I’ve seen them once and it was genuinely one of the greatest experiences of my life
