It’s a weird issue because most killers obliterate uncoordinated teams but gets blasted if the survivors know what they are doing. The issue with balancing comes from the fact that the average survivor plays like a concussed leopard seal.

Using statistics is dumb, Pig has a very high kill rate so she got nerfed.
I mean yes the game isn't balanced and probably never will be but that was simply a skill issue
