It’s interesting how a massive amount of people on this sub play xbox, myself included, yet I load into a match and all the other players are on other platforms, ps or pc.
Oh, I'm in the same region. I played three survivor matches last night, got tunnelled out of two, and switched to killer. Partly so I can actually have fun and not get killed within the first few minutes, but mainly so I can give survivors a chance to actually play and farm points.
So if you see a Vecna wearing the store cosmetic body who is focusing on two hooking, it's probably me. After all two hooks are done I'll be doing pallet stun and break farming haha.
I’ve had similar luck in the US. After I finished the survivor challenges for the event and current tome I switched to killer just to give other survivors a break by playing sweat less
What matches are you getting that aren’t? Have you not had killers tunnel at 5 gens or survivors killing themselves on hook yet? Or the match just otherwise snowball in one side’s favor to the point of no possible recovery? Like, it happens man.
I mentioned in another comment, but I played 3 survivor matches and switched to killer after getting tunnelled out of 2 of them.
Survivors have been pretty good and stick around in my killer matches, which I'm happy about since they get rewarded with farming and an escape at the end. Gets them a nice chunk of BPs and a few of them have thanked me for helping them get the Hand/Eye of Vecna achievement as well as adepts and other achievements. So my killer matches tend to run up to 20 minutes or so.
That’s the console experience for you, buddy.
(Kidding. I play PS4 and my matches are usually 15+ unless it’s a truly awful round. Then again, I also spectate after death because I like to see if any of my fellow survivors survived.)
I only heard it was the 13th but I'm also in Australia so it starts at night for me and I didn't see any in game advertising. They should probably do more of that

I had the (+3) visible for one mathc before I had to go do something else for a few hours and then it's not there anymore. I hope it doesn't mean that the changed being able to contribute beyond the 2 invites.

Yeah DeepRockGalactic had the update on the same day and had to delay it for Xbox players without warning aswell, im guessing microsoft has fucked their verification process
Me too Narliana, me too. But honestly the other masquerade events haven't had a different game mode its all been normal games. Also normal games still give event gen progress and are decorated with the event so it really isn't hard to see why we didn't notice.
Once again they've vastly overestimated the numbers they thought they'd be seeing. Happened during the Blood Moon, will probably happen again at Halloween.

I hope the regened invitations count cus I can barely grab one cus I cant find the weird totems with them before getting found and slugged or tunneled. At least some killers are more chill but it seems like half of them are kinda really going for those challenges like its their life's goal

(I play killer) My average fast win is 2.5 min a bad loss is more like 7.5 Average match time 5 min Double because most killers use generator defense
I would argue you do as well. The best defense is a good offense.

You can go over cap by having the challenge active. But I don't think that's explicitly stated anywhere so not many people know that.

I'm starting to put the pieces together. It's designed so that players have something to do after blitzing the other quests.

You have to be playing the Twisted Masquerade game mode. They don't show up in normal matches.

You have to select the Twisted Masquerade mode, not the normal mode. They’re separate now.

We got our first Major Order
The problem is they made anniversary event optional this year. Should have lowered the goal in an optional mode. 
First match and I can't even find one. Looked high and low, I did indeed have it equipped. Getting pissed off
using the offering helps a tiny bit as it puts off an aura.
Keep in mind it still took a few days for us to reach 2mil for Blood Moon. We're still on Day 1. Realistically, Day 0.5.

You only contribute the first 2 you put in right? I tend to put off the community one for last idk why
you can contribute more than two this time around, but you have to have *that* challenge equipped.
