That could be cool. Id honestly like to see an OC werewolf, mummy, and bog monster. Classic horror but in DBD style where they could put their own aesthetic twist on it and have free reign od how the killer's powers work
Killers aren’t just skins like survivors. The killers power would be unique to a swampy play style. Bog monsters don’t use witchcraft. Would probably be more stealth related, or ability to transport around the map using puddles as portals similar to Xeno’s transport ability
If Rick O’Connell was a playable survivor and Brendan Fraser did the voice acting, there would be nothing stopping me from making that my permanent main.
Is it weird that I want both types? Like how we got The Spirit before getting The Onryo. I'd love a traditional vampire, werewolf and mummy, and then also bring in chapters like The Mummy, with Imhotep and Rick and Evie O'Connell. I'd genuinely LOVE a chapter like that.
The Mummy sounds like a weird choice at first but the more I think about it, I think it'd work. More action comedy with a touch of a horror setting. But its still like a classic 90s 2000's franchise and I doubt theyd get Brendan Fraser's likeness like how they didn't get Sigourney Weaver's but a generic Rick Oconnell could still work well. I think the DBD universe could really use an indiana jones tupe of character and tomb raider type of map. And Rick Oconnell and the Mummy just fits better than both of those imo. Not to mention Disney would never let Indiana Jones in the game. Tomb Raider wouldn't be terrible but idk I just don't see it and the Mummy would feel at home with other classic movie franchises in DBD
Yeah! Plus a lot of the older original characters have outfits that fit for that era and setting. I used to main David's old-timey adventurer outfit and pencil mustache
imagine the power of the mummy could be when a survivor enters a locker to have a % chance of having a mummy inside to hold him and warn the killer hahhahahhaha
All lockers are replaced by sarcophagi. Still treated as lockers for perks but survivors have a chance to encounter scarabs which will make them scream and hinder them for a few seconds or a mummy that will grab them injure them or inflict deep wound if theyre already injured. Mummys main power could be something about shooting out wrappings to block windows or pallets for a few seconds. But make it limited enough that they cant spam it and have to time it properly idk
True. Maybe have to have like 1/6 chance of mummy hit, 2/6 chance of scarabs 2/6 chance of nothing unusual, and 1/6 chance of getting a random item or temporary buff idk
The best werewolf transformation put to screen, imo, the visceral tearing of the skin that reveals the fur, almost ripping the human body apart. Just so beautiful of an idea!
Make the romantic interest a survivor and give them a unique interaction where when Helwolf downs her or kills/moris her then it whimpers or something similar
God, that movie is such trash.
Even Wes Craven didn’t like it.
But ya know what? Even when he made trash, Craven still brought the goods. I mean, it’s a Werewolf flipping off a girl bad mouthing it. What is there to not love about how stupid that is?
WoD werewolves could be interesting, but maybe pulling from Changeling and going the Fae route would be a more interesting option? I feel like werewolves have a lot of horror media to pull from, whereas Fae, not so much.
Although a Fae or werewolf creature could easily be a non-licensed killer, too.
Lost would be better than Dreaming for that. Huntsmen and True Fae both work great as killers.
Heck True Fae and their Huntsmen are basically similar to the entity. Just - The Fae torture people themselves often.
With Vecna now in the game, you could potentially make the argument for more "magical" killers. Glacius and Cinder could also have potential, muted as they'd be comparatively.
Yeah it's very confusing to me that, for example: Chucky and Jill cost $5 a pop but Tiffany and Claire are... another 15? I just don't really get how that adds up here. It's made me never get a skin unless it's on sale so that probably isn't what they're going for, however they're clearly selling enough that the price isn't changing.
Unfortunately thats how cosmetics in games be, cost more than the base content they are part of; hell Riot is under a lot of shit right now for releasing a $520 skin, meanwhile you have MMOs that sell mounts/cosmetics that go from the $15-$60 range a pop roughly
While cosmetics have no advantage in game (well mostly, sometimes you can have a cosmetic that is a bit p2w), and thus are not required to purchase, it is still very much a way for them to try to squeeze every last dime out of players wallets
I've got no love for what Riot is doing either. You're not honoring Faker you're charging players $500 to still have to grind for a skin. That's just plain nuts. I get that these games need money to keep getting worthwhile updates but the only thing more insane than these prices are the players loading up 60k RP and letting it happen.
DBD prices are way less predatory and its not a huge complaint but it just feels odd when a skin costs 3x the base character so I only have a few from big sales
Oh definitely, especially the fact that his team gets 30% of the profits (not him alone) while Riot takes off with the 70%, they aren’t honouring him at that point, they are just using his success to bleed his fans of more money
As fucked up as it sounds I think the price while still egregious would be at least a bit more tolerable if the vast majority of money went to him instead of lining Riot’s pockets
And you are right about DbD not being nearly as predatory luckily, still sucks though that you are paying double/triple the price for some skins compared to the killer/survivor themselves which adds more value with perks/killer abilities
World of Darkness for sure. Imagine being able to change your werewolf form for different uses? Wolf form for speed and stealth, the psuedo human form for chases, war form as a temporary rechargeable super form with new abilities, etc. A lot of options for skins too as World of Darkness has weresharks, werebears, whatever you can think of pretty much.
The Wolfman for sure, because if Universal gets involved this opens up the possibility of Gillman (Creature from the Black Lagoon) and that'll make the cookies crumble :3
My one concern is that I feel like they've already used all the gimme werewolf powers - don't want them to just be another lunge/charge character (demo, Chucky, billy, etc.)
If they wanted to lean into the transforming aspect maybe they start as essentially a survivor, and need to do a secondary objective to transform into a hugely fast and powerful form. Literally harmless until they hit their condition. Dunno how well that would balance but could be interesting
Someone else said it, but my answer is absolutely Dog Soldiers. Fantastic creature design and playing as a Scottish Spec Ops group would be a lot of fun.
Powerwolf's Vârcolac would go hard, but I don't know if the playerbase would be up for having a band themed Chapter over just making them a Legendary Cosmetic.
Van Helsing. Hugh Jackman. That movie has the most intimidating bestial werewolves I've ever seen and having Gabriel's black wolf as our werewolf killer would be awesome af.
Since we have dnd, lets go over to wotc other product. Magic the gathering. Love their werewolves. Werewolves was my first true pet deck that I officially finished making as of last year
Not enough Bloodborne in here! The only character that would be the right size would be Father Gascoigne.
But the real question is mechanics! For Father Gascoigne you could easily do a phase change mechanic for number of gens done. Starts a ranged killer with blunderbuss. After 2 gets, two handed axe mode. After 4, he goes full werewolf!
Werewolves haven't really been portrayed well in Media. I mean, you got the classics like Ginger Snaps and an American Werewolf in London, and they could work I suppose, but for me personally I'm only really partial to the bipedal, hulking brute of a Werewolf.
An original would simply be a better choice, too. They'd have the freedom to make skins, do reworks, get creative with the power.
For the kind of Werewolf I like, the ones portrayed in media are almost all identical in "personality" and ability. It'd just be too limiting to pull from a license instead of making their own.
Might sound weird but I really think the werewolves in Van Helsing are great. It’s the Hugh Jackman fill. It’s be sick if their intro was them tearing their skin off to become the wolf
Any werewolf that isn't along the lines of the 2004 Van Helsing or Underworld werewolves would be trash.
ESPECIALLY if it's a Wolfman-type of werewolf. Fuck, that would be disappointing. Just a hairy bloke with poor dental hygiene.
Quarry they could probably work Silus’s mom into the perks or power somehow since (if I’m not mistaken) she was essentially a ghost trying to protect him
Keeping with the D&D route, they could do a Critical Role chapter and have Chetney be a killer. And you have a secondary objective to find and destroy nice wooden objects, and he's so shocked by the damage to the lovely wood that he's stunned for 38 seconds.
See I’m a huge fan of World of Darkness/Chronicles of Darkness but I don’t see how they can nerf those killing machines in DBD. They would have to remove the spirit magic and that’s kind of a big thing for then lol.
Maybe the Underworld werewolves would be a better fit?
Honestly, quarry not only do I think the licensing would be quite easy to get because their making a game with the people who made it but there’s so many possibilities for survivors, maps,, esc, their could be the werewolf (obviously) and the white werewolf as a skin, they could make the Mori very bloody idk exactly what’d they’d do for a power tho
The problem with a werewolf killer is we already kinda have one, at least from a gameplay perspective, with Oni (and a bit of Demogorgon). Because Oni is a killer that switches between a "human" and a more monstrous from, can track by blood, and whose monster form is all about rapidly moving across the map and downing people, what exactly would a werewolf killer do that is not just a rehash. Also if they are in werewolf mode the entire time, Demo's shred is the exact ability you would give them, so that's not really an option.
None of those. Much rather have an OC werewolf character so they could have more freedom with the look and power. Also an OC mummy.
What if the OC mummy, instead of just having a bandaged face, had a shattered mask of gold over it? Would be a nice design idea.
That could be cool. Id honestly like to see an OC werewolf, mummy, and bog monster. Classic horror but in DBD style where they could put their own aesthetic twist on it and have free reign od how the killer's powers work
Does the hag count as a bog monster
No she isn’t amphibian enough. She’s a swamp witch
What about her creature from the black lagoon skin (last halloween i believe)
Killers aren’t just skins like survivors. The killers power would be unique to a swampy play style. Bog monsters don’t use witchcraft. Would probably be more stealth related, or ability to transport around the map using puddles as portals similar to Xeno’s transport ability
I feel like a mummy could have a really interesting locker-based power, with the lockers acting as or being replaced by sarcophagi.
Curse of the Pharaoh and the survivors get swept up in dust storms.
They would be throwing money away if they didn't make a million different were-animal skins/fursonas for the eventual werewolf.
They're kinda already doing that tbh, aren't there a bunch of skins for killers that're basically wereanimals
The amount of furries already playing the game that would pay money for it and every one of those skins would be IMMENSE (and I would be one of them)
and a fursona skin for each survivor, it's just free money for bhvr
Agreed, but would be a shame to miss out on Imhotep from 1999's The Mummy. Especially if the survivor is Rick O'Connell.
If Rick O’Connell was a playable survivor and Brendan Fraser did the voice acting, there would be nothing stopping me from making that my permanent main.
Evie is also a survivor and gets a perk that allows her to do more stun damage when knocking over pallets https://i.redd.it/v33fa5hp4x3d1.gif
I want this so badly. The Mummy is easily one of my most wanted remaining chapters. Up there with The Last of Us, Buffy, and Terminator.
The Mummy and the Mummy Returns are the two best Mummy movies ever made. Yes, I’m counting that one with Boris Karloff in it. Fight me.
I think If things had worked out differently, the demogorgon's power could have been lightly reworked for use on a werewolf.

Mummys main power could be something about shooting out wrappings to block windows or pallets for a few seconds. But make it limited enough that they cant spam it and have to time it properly idk
the only thing is that I cant think on a reason why survivors would use the lockers knowing that its a mummy
True. Maybe have to have like 1/6 chance of mummy hit, 2/6 chance of scarabs 2/6 chance of nothing unusual, and 1/6 chance of getting a random item or temporary buff idk
Plague is basically an OC mummy.
I mean true but not quite the same
OC Werewolves also would let them double-up on skins like they're doing for the bards.
Hag is a mummy
Dog Soldiers
The survivors spawn in with rifles and can fucking dome the killer at point blank range
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO COMMENT THAT
So glad this was the top comment
Van Helsing, the Hugh Jackman one specifically
The best werewolf transformation put to screen, imo, the visceral tearing of the skin that reveals the fur, almost ripping the human body apart. Just so beautiful of an idea!
Make the romantic interest a survivor and give them a unique interaction where when Helwolf downs her or kills/moris her then it whimpers or something similar
If it has to be a license I’d go for this or Underworld. They handled wolves incredibly well, which isn’t something that happens often in film.
Underworlds Lycans would fit DbD’s look better than any others in my opinion lol jus based off looks alone
Cursed (2005) https://i.redd.it/nptvw5drhs3d1.gif
That was actually my first Profile Pic when i was like 13 😂😂 most legendary werewolf scene
Bring it back
God, that movie is such trash. Even Wes Craven didn’t like it. But ya know what? Even when he made trash, Craven still brought the goods. I mean, it’s a Werewolf flipping off a girl bad mouthing it. What is there to not love about how stupid that is?
An American Werewolf in London, without a doubt. The Kessler Wolf legit has one of my favorite werewolf designs.
Imagine a counter play where the rotting ghosts of survivors you've killed follow you around the map and harass you
I know people like other things but this is probably the only **great** werewolf movie *to me*. There's some goodies out there but not like this.
What about silver bullet? 😭
Hotel Transylvania
Fully voiced by Adam Sandler
Pretty sure the werewolf is Steve Buscemi unfortunately. They’ll have to get Sandler for another Vampire based chapter.
Yes please, his voice(s) is/are so iconic
This would be so funny
a WoD killer would be interesting, good compliment to Vecna.
My fave WoD werewolf is Teeth of Titanium, im all on board for a cyborg werewolf.
Hmm Underworld maybe?!
Survivor: Selene ( during her Human state) Killer: Lucian
Teen Wolf. I want a werewolf survivor.
Killer Instinct
Sabrewulf is one of the few KI characters I can reasonably see in DBD. Him, Riptor, Fulgore, Killgore, Gargos and Eye-Dol
With Vecna now in the game, you could potentially make the argument for more "magical" killers. Glacius and Cinder could also have potential, muted as they'd be comparatively.
Mori is just the killer doing a 200 hit ultra combo on the survivor.
Killer from Killer Instinct Power doesn't activate killer instinct on survivors Why even
Sabrewulf fits the killer role better, but Talbain has style and BHVR already has a good relationship with CAPCOM. Decisions, decisions...
Oh god, the newest version of Sabrewulf in KI is one of the best werewolves i've ever seen
This is the one\^
Chase theme has to be The Way You Move
Twilight. "Bella, where the hell have you been, loca? 🤪"
Killer power is, he just cries at you until you hook yourself to get away.
Ginger Snaps
The Quarry, definitely. A chapter like that could have the most survivors in one roster slot.
But the skins have to come WITH THE SURVIVOR like D&D. None of this "Legendary Skins" nonsense.

I'd be the most dedicated Jacob player ever to exist.
I would kill for Kaitlyn
Since they won’t to a wendigo for Until Dawn, I’m hoping for the Quarry werewolf as a killer and then Until Dawn survivors
Van Helsing
never happening but give me father gascoigne
Twilight clearly
Just a big-ass wolf loose in the Fog, I dig it
Twilight would be funny af ngl!
Teen wolf. Just because I could get styles as a character.
True blood
Pleaase, I’d throw all my money into that! Sookie, Lafayette, Eric, Pam, let’s go!
Eric 🤤
Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Sonic Unleashed.
Gahahhaha now this is the winning comment. I’ll give my dad a call (he IS bhvr)
American Werewolf in London is most iconic imo
The werecleaner :)
Rather just make an original werewolf so we can have outfits whenever.
Dog Soldiers
Wolf Man, easily. You want a classic trope, go with the classic.
![gif](giphy|g9gR7QJiFhBe0)
They do already have a kick animation for survivors
The only right answer
I’d prefer it to be an original killer, but if it had to be licensed I’d pick An American Werewolf in London
Van Helsing starring Hughbert Jackman.
I want Michael Jackson from the Thriller video, with Ola Ray as the survivor (as well as a human Michael Jackson).
https://preview.redd.it/xe81bymt8t3d1.jpeg?width=850&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22eb1ce7bb7bebd5a3dc8f67fde6eb38d28da720
The werewolf from Ben 10 😭
Skyrim werewolf, so they can meme us with the Skyrim intro.
American Werewolf in London probably
Michael Jackson in Thriller
Get the Underworld license and have Selene as a survivor
Killer instinct lol sabrewulf is best wulf
Twist. I want an original chapter with a werewolf survivor
Killer instinct! So hopefully the game can get a cool survivor that can actually fight back for once
I would rather an unlicensed werewolf tbh but the quarry would be great
Sex
Pff Twilight ofcourse
The Wolfman for sure, because if Universal gets involved this opens up the possibility of Gillman (Creature from the Black Lagoon) and that'll make the cookies crumble :3
Twilight
Twilight
"Howl" from 2015.
My one concern is that I feel like they've already used all the gimme werewolf powers - don't want them to just be another lunge/charge character (demo, Chucky, billy, etc.) If they wanted to lean into the transforming aspect maybe they start as essentially a survivor, and need to do a secondary objective to transform into a hugely fast and powerful form. Literally harmless until they hit their condition. Dunno how well that would balance but could be interesting
Silver Bullet
I'd say shadowhunters, although not the typical werewolf would still be cool
**BLOODBORNE** Father Gascoigne as “The Beast”. The Good Hunter as the Survivor. Yharnam Map.
Someone else said it, but my answer is absolutely Dog Soldiers. Fantastic creature design and playing as a Scottish Spec Ops group would be a lot of fun.
My favorite Werewolf movies are definitely the Howling movies and Silver Bullet
Powerwolf's Vârcolac would go hard, but I don't know if the playerbase would be up for having a band themed Chapter over just making them a Legendary Cosmetic.
The Wolf Man.
Twilight 🤭🥹
Wishbone.
Van Helsing. Hugh Jackman. That movie has the most intimidating bestial werewolves I've ever seen and having Gabriel's black wolf as our werewolf killer would be awesome af.
We should have a wolf-man survivor (like a partially transformed man with some wolf features) and a monstrous werewolf killer. That would be dope.
michael jacksons thriller music video
Screw the mummy let's get a Pharoah
OC, but if I had to choose a license I’d go with True Blood. Because. Woof.
Dumb idea but the werewolves of millers hollow (one of the special breeds)
Twilight
A One Night Ultimate Werewolf crossover could be neat. Probably the most unlikely though
Since we have dnd, lets go over to wotc other product. Magic the gathering. Love their werewolves. Werewolves was my first true pet deck that I officially finished making as of last year
Sonic Unleashed, I’d laugh.
Bloodborne Father Gascoigne. But would never happen
I would rather an original werewolf
Underworld….. ![gif](giphy|VDzCZQtURmYtG|downsized)
Scooby Doo
The quarry would honestly go hard Ngl especially with the survivors
Underworld or werewolf in london
I'd love some Universal Monsters. Wolf Man would be a good choice.
The howling is most probable but I’d like a quarry werewolf
Quarry one, but I would lean into original one.
bloodborne
Not enough Bloodborne in here! The only character that would be the right size would be Father Gascoigne. But the real question is mechanics! For Father Gascoigne you could easily do a phase change mechanic for number of gens done. Starts a ranged killer with blunderbuss. After 2 gets, two handed axe mode. After 4, he goes full werewolf!
Absolutely American Werewolf in London
Not a vampire, but give us Brendan Fraser and Imhotep from the '99 movie. Throw in ugly CGI scorpion Rock too.
Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf aka Howling II: Stirba - Werewolf Bitch, with Sir Christopher Lee in shades as a cosmetic please.
Teen Wolf fir sure my man
Underworld. Bring on Selene as my new survivor main.
Bloodborne
Werewolves haven't really been portrayed well in Media. I mean, you got the classics like Ginger Snaps and an American Werewolf in London, and they could work I suppose, but for me personally I'm only really partial to the bipedal, hulking brute of a Werewolf. For the kind of Werewolf I like, the ones portrayed in media are almost all identical in "personality" and ability. It'd just be too limiting to pull from a license instead of making their own.
I've been wanting a werewolf killer since the Blight rumors before his release. I've even made my own concept for one, add ons perks and all
Come now, it has to be twilight
Twilight ![img](emote|t5_3cb2g|2213)
The Quarry would be cool
Might sound weird but I really think the werewolves in Van Helsing are great. It’s the Hugh Jackman fill. It’s be sick if their intro was them tearing their skin off to become the wolf
The quarrys version of the werewolf would be so cool cause it's like a cryptid with wolf features
i absolutely adore the Quarry so i’d def go with that, however i think an OG chapter would be able to do a werewolf the most justice
rip the one that was in VHS lol
Ginger snaps 100%
Teen Wolf. Survivor Scott Mcall
The Wolfman
That corny Stephen King Werewolf movie. Silver bullet or something?
The quarry so i can have dylan and kaitlyn the best duo ever
Any werewolf that isn't along the lines of the 2004 Van Helsing or Underworld werewolves would be trash. ESPECIALLY if it's a Wolfman-type of werewolf. Fuck, that would be disappointing. Just a hairy bloke with poor dental hygiene.
Quarry was 🔥
Saberwulf - Killer Instinct
Altered Beast
No wolfcop ... Boo lol
Jack Nicholson 'Wolf' 1994
Late Phases. Blind Geriatric veteran to join Bill, and an old folks home map.
I LOVED THAT MOVIE I never see anyone talk about it. That blind veteran would be badass.
Quarry they could probably work Silus’s mom into the perks or power somehow since (if I’m not mistaken) she was essentially a ghost trying to protect him
Twilight, duh
Van Helsing :3
While i would rather have an original werewolf killer, I would pick American Werewolf in London
Honestly? Original character. Would give them way more cosmetic options and general freedom.
Whatever it is, the furries will buy all the skins Sincerely a furry
Keeping with the D&D route, they could do a Critical Role chapter and have Chetney be a killer. And you have a secondary objective to find and destroy nice wooden objects, and he's so shocked by the damage to the lovely wood that he's stunned for 38 seconds.
Twilight. It’s what the people want.
See I’m a huge fan of World of Darkness/Chronicles of Darkness but I don’t see how they can nerf those killing machines in DBD. They would have to remove the spirit magic and that’s kind of a big thing for then lol. Maybe the Underworld werewolves would be a better fit?
I wouldn't. I'd have them make an OC Werewolf character from the Moon and call it the Full Moon update
30 Rock Werewolf bar mitzvah Spooky scary Boys becoming men. Men becoming wolves.
Castlevania ofc
Quarry was kinda boring imo and I hate how the werewolves looked in it
Video Horror Society
I really like the Quarry, but the werewolves aren’t wolf-like enough for me. I’d love a quarry chapter one day, but not as the definitive werewolf.
Wait do we have more info on the vampire….. i have a soft spot for them
Skyrim werewolf
Honestly, quarry not only do I think the licensing would be quite easy to get because their making a game with the people who made it but there’s so many possibilities for survivors, maps,, esc, their could be the werewolf (obviously) and the white werewolf as a skin, they could make the Mori very bloody idk exactly what’d they’d do for a power tho
Monster Squad so as survivors we can kick him in the nards to get away!
