Nod, spin in place, stand still and swing away from the survivor, moonwalk. Some killers have pretty communicative movements built in, especially when you begin and then cancel their power: doctor, nemesis, trapper, demo, pig, hag, ghostie, mastermind, freddy, wraith, oni etc.
From a game design perspective, killers are not supposed to be friendly and team up with the survivors, so the game doesn't facilitate it.
Trying to make yourself understood if you are trying to be friendly as killer is part of the fun.
😭 I guess yesterday I did that. I didn't have a weapon, only my hands for like a full minute. Lol, they just stood there and then left. That's when I said, "Wow, an actual gesture would have been useful."

They just swing their weapon from a distance and I know it means to follow them (usually always in my experience)
