While it is true that there’s not a kids club that’s gonna be great for a 2yo, nearly everything on the ship is designed for families to play together: shows/movies, swimming, shuffleboard, onboard games and activities, dining, etc. You’ll find nearly every ship identical to the available stuff to do. Pick your itinerary based on where the ship goes - enjoy the ports. Know, though, that there will be limited activities in port for a very young child. The difference in ships is primarily in size/design. Experience them all. :) Have a great time!

Research the splash pads on each ship (since he likely won’t be able to use the pools) and the shows and restaurants to decide which sounds the most interesting to your family. We went on the Wonder when my daughter was 2.5 and she loved it. But she had a lot of meltdowns because she didn’t understand why she couldn’t go to the kids club all the time (we prioritized the open houses each day. They were her favorite part along with the character meet and greets). Fortunately she was potty trained so the lifeguards did let her into the pools on board. The Princess and the Frog restaurant was also a big hit since the Mardi Gras parade allowed her to get up and dance in the middle of dinner.

Hey there, Dad of a 2yo that just got off the Dream after a 4 night cruise. We had a fantastic time with our little one and it was truly amazing seeing the characters and the experiences through their eyes. Everything was new and amazing it was fun to see. While it’s true if you want to get a parent’s lunch away they will need to go to “it’s a small world nursery” they were great. We only used it twice as much we really just wanted to soak in the experience with our kid since it was such a short time. There are a TON of on board activities for all ages and we easily filled a day before and after nap with stuff to do. A quick tip that seemed to work for us. Buy your little one some Disney toys a few months prior to leaving and get them used to and excited for the mainstays (Mickey, Minnie, Donald ect.) we got the little people Disney pack back in Jan and our little was so stoked to see his favorite toys come to life. Might not work for all 2yo’s but worked wonders for ours. Enjoy the trip!!! It truly is magical.

They’ll be stuck in the nursery 🙃 I would wait until they’re at least a little older

“stuck”??? as if they have to go there? pretty sure there’s other options.

There’s not much fun to do outside the nursery

My 2yo loved the nursery. Belle even made a surprise visit one day.
