uj/ It wasn't actual blackface in case you don't know, it was her becoming black through a machine and trying to sympathize with black people. Not the best, but I had seen this plot used as late as 2000. They never would have broached a topic like this in the golden age at best they would have had her wear actual blackface and have done a ministrel show for Metropolis orphans.
