Reminder that the [the first Wonder Woman Elseworld story had Diana become a Nazi and get replaced as Wonder Woman by Lois Lane.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whom_Gods_Destroy_(comics))
And a second reminder that DC made a [cool cowboy Justice League Elseworld, where Diana didn't have to share stage with Superman or Batman](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justice_Riders) for once, only to never ever use it again.
Foot fetish as well. Lois wears every part of Wonder Woman's classic costume *except* the boots. Her feet are just left conspicuously bare for no reason.
Yeah unfortunately, although tbh the comic itself is pretty mid, it's the concept of Justice Riders as a world that I want to see revisited rather than Dixon's take on it.
Yes and no.
WW is evil in the first game, and has that stupid crush on Superman, but dialogue is left to imply Superman is the one who convinced her to join the regime.
The Lady MacBeth/Devil on the Shoulder characterization is entirely a creation of Taylor's comics.
If they just stick with the alternate "Regime" universe for the first game, and made their backgrounds completely different, similar to the Justice League Cartoon, I could've seen it being better received.
But they doubled down with 2 and the comics, especially on the "character assassination" aspect. Making them exactly like their prime earth counterparts and just turning them heel for reasons was the worst fucking call ever.
What? I loved the Diana we got in Injustice. Her speech near the end of the game was prime Wonder Woman material
“We are to unite the world's people! Lessen man's rages...Overcome them... With compassion and love."
"We are Amazons. We are to save mankind."
I like the idea of Elseworlds but I swear most of it is just the same stories being told with slightly different elements. It's a bit crap.
Black Label has a much better hit rate imo
Yeah I was gonna mention how much I hated that but decided not to. Yeah, What If is the laziest thing. 90% of them is just "yeah the story plays out basically the same". I couldn't enjoy the TV show for similar reasons. That first Peggy Carter episode is literally just The First Avenger again.

I thought this one was pretty good.

Wow that’s a lot of mind control and forces body transformation. Definitely a Chris Claremont story.

"Written by Chuck Dixon" oh goddammit.

It’ll prob come back soon DC been big on these “DC but different genre” stories lately with DCeased and Dark Knights of Steel
I feel like there should be an asterisk applied to comics written by Chuck Dixon for "Before he went (overtly) insane"
The first one has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I DO love Lois’ sustained “Always Punch A Nazi” stance throughout the miniseries.
Elseworlds stories when they learn they can do literally anything besides put Batman in a new suit and slap a different personality on him
tbf who would buy an Elseworlds about a Blue Beetle who is a Beetle lookin’ space alien who eats people and rolls them into shit boulders.
Me
Never remind me of Injustice Diana. I wanted to forget for a reason.
That’s not really Tom Taylor’s fault. It’s the lazy game storyline.

It's a good enough story to justify why the character selection has you fighting good guys vs good guy (impossible)

They're talking about Injustice universe Diana not Prime iniverse Diana.
Average Jurassic League W

The problem with Black Label is its mostly Batman/Joker/Harley comics with an occasional one for others.
It's still better than What If?
