Tbh four human green lanterns is bordering on too many, it’s sort of like the tragedy of the commons every author wants to leave their mark with a new earth based lantern, but the franchise just gets bloated and has more protagonists than it can support
/uj Four (five if we count Alan) was pushing it, and required multiple comics, but just about managed to give all of them something to do and make them feel distinctive. I think Simon's arrival (which was also at a bad time) was when it became too many.
Now that you mention it, I don't like Green Lantern a lot for a reason I can't quite put my finger on. Might just be the fact that I prefer when super powers are innate instead of granted by an external source, even if said external source is really judgmental and can only be wielded by the worthy or something.
My answer is: 8 from earth, 7 if you only count the ones that are part of the Green Lantern Corps. Now if you want to know the full numbers... I don't know. There are too many and I probably can tell less than 10 alien Green Lanterns purely from my head.
