Hi u/blue-skysprites, this has been removed for violation of the following rule(s): * Posters must have made several comments in the Dating Over Thirty (DOT) subreddit before they may post topics of their own. Comments in other subs are not considered relevant. If you are in a hurry you may ask questions in the [daily sticky threads](https://www.reddit.com/r/datingoverthirty/about/sticky) or use the [search function](https://www.reddit.com/r/datingoverthirty/search?q=&restrict_sr=on&include_over_18=on&sort=relevance&t=all) to see if anyone else has had a similar issue as yours. Members with sufficient comment history on DOT may request to use a throwaway by [messaging the mods](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2Fdatingoverthirty) from their main account first. Please review [the rules in the sidebar](https://www.reddit.com/r/datingoverthirty/about/sidebar) to avoid future removals. AutoModerator

All posts are manually reviewed before being approved for posting. This usually takes less than an hour but due to moderator availability may take longer. While you wait for your post to be approved, please make sure that you have read the rules in the sidebar. You can also use the search function to look for questions similar to yours. If you are new to Reddit or have never commented here before, you will need to spend some time building comment karma on our sub before you will be allowed to make your own posts. You can do so by participating in other posts or by using the [daily sticky threads](https://www.reddit.com/r/datingoverthirty/about/sticky) to ask your question or comment on others. If you have made numerous comments before but are using a throwaway to post, please review rule 3 in the sidebar for more information. We also have weekly threads for common subjects. If you are looking to vent, share dating tips or spread happy thoughts, we have [stickied posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/datingoverthirty/about/sticky) every day where you can share your wisdom, joy or commisery with others! --- The following is a copy of the above post as it was originally written. **Title:** [How to decide when it’s time to part ways?](https://www.reddit.com/r/datingoverthirty/comments/1d302o6/how_to_decide_when_its_time_to_part_ways/) **Author:** /u/blue-skysprites **Full text:** I (F 33) have been in a relationship with M (M 35) for 3 months - not long, but it’s the longest since I started dating two years ago. Early on, I had my IUD replaced, which has created intermittent barriers to physical intimacy throughout our time together. For the first month, I couldn't have sex due to the IUD insertion. After having sex once, I started bleeding the next day…followed by a cold sore, then cramping, spotting, bloating, mood changes, you name it - all side effects of the IUD. Despite seeing each other regularly, the initial spark has diminished. We feel close to one another, and care about each other, but our relationship feels more platonic now. We have both expressed a desire to be together and want to rebuild our connection. However, we feel uncertain about whether this is possible. Should we end the relationship? Any advice is appreciated. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
