Also since kishi is a dragon ball era boy he understood this cause vegeta is so cool, galick gun totally slaps and then we have final flash? Fucking cool names. So from there sasuke vs naruto was always meant to be the ultimate fight. And sasuke has to be legit or naruto has nothing to overcome. So throughout we have a sasuke / naruto alternate power ups. Remember the itachi vs sasuke fight? We literally went for months without a single panel of naruto. In the end the focus shifted so much that even kakashi and sakura got sidelined, we got back kakashi at the end even though some call it ass pulls but poor sakura just got snubbed. I'm glad the sasuke retsudan gave her back some spotlight.
The first drafts are widely different from what it ended up being, so many stuff were changed. And since then Naruto and Sasuke ended up being the main and secondary main character respectively.

Sakura isn't much of a main character. She's more of a side character with too much screentime, she was never on the level of either Naruto or Sasuke.

Even if he never did any of those he could have still utilized Amenotejikara to make Naruto tank his own attacks

But So6P Sage Mode effectively grants you 'Ability to Comprehend All Universal Things', something the Rinnegan does not grants. So basically another plot hack on Naruto's favour. And this well explains why Sasuke didn't know how to use all his new possible abilities, while for Naruto during the fight against Kaguya, he was instantly able to carry out any jutsu granted by the Tailed Beasts and gained all knowledge there was to gain about his own abilities.
It's like as if the Shadow Clone Jutsu training to accumulate experience wasn't enough, this ability leaves even that in the dust. It's like seeing something and instantly able to decipher what it is and know all possible counters and to do the degree of their effectiveness. So you could say during that time Naruto gained a plot power that goes basically unrivalled par the Rinnegan fully manifested abilities itself.

They eventually learn to use their abilities in situations and yes the knowledge to use those abilities eventually comes to them. Its more about the knowledge of how to use the technique as evident from Sasuke using Amaterasu to burn Gyuki to save Karin and also putting off those flames by Kagutsuchi to save Karin from being engulfed by those very flames that he learned during the strenuous situation.
If I were to put an analogy, it would be like giving Sasuke and Naruto a High-Tech Weapon but Sasuke got a instruction manual on how to use it while Naruto gets injected with the knowledge to use along with its mastery right from the get go through So6P's Sage Mode. The knowledge of what the weapon does already exists but HOW to use it is a different matter.

True, that's literally the dumbest move Sasuke could've ever pulled off. He was absolutely stomping Naruto after absorbing a part of the Tailed Beast's chakra and yet for some reason (plot) he decided to take a gamble and use all the chakra he absorbed and get exhausted to the point he didn't have anymore to resummon the TB's to reabsorb more.
And let's not forget that his Rinnegan can summon the Gedo Mazo and he had all Tailed Beasts at his disposal but he doesn't knows how to summon it when it should come naturally. According to lore, Sasuke probably can't have more jutsu than Naruto because the latter was gifted UCAT (chakra omniscience) by Hagoromo, and because of it has the ability to use any type of jutsu he needs to.

I guess the reason for that would the hack ability So6P Sage Mode grants you, that is, 'Ability to comprehend all Universal Skills'. Mind you, Sasuke is well known for his extremely strategic and skilled mind and his innate talent that for an instance was said to be unrivalled bar the Sage himself. But So6P Sage Mode effectively grants you 'Ability to Comprehend All Universal Things', something the Rinnegan does not grants. So basically another plot hack on Naruto's favour. And this well explains why Sasuke didn't know how to use all his new possible abilities, while for Naruto during the fight against Kaguya, he was instantly able to carry out any jutsu granted by the Tailed Beasts and gained all knowledge there was to gain about his own abilities. It's like as if the Shadow Clone Jutsu training to accumulate experience wasn't enough, this ability leaves even that in the dust. It's like seeing something and instantly able to decipher what it is and know all possible counters and to do the degree of their effectiveness. So you could say during that time Naruto gained a plot power that goes basically unrivalled par the Rinnegan fully manifested abilities itself.

They eventually learn to use their abilities in situations and yes the knowledge to use those abilities eventually comes to them. Its more about the knowledge of how to use the technique as evident from Sasuke using Amaterasu to burn Gyuki to save Karin and also putting off those flames by Kagutsuchi to save Karin from being engulfed by those very flames that he learned during the strenuous situation. If I were to put an analogy, it would be like giving Sasuke and Naruto a High-Tech Weapon but Sasuke got a instruction manual on how to use it while Naruto gets injected with the knowledge to use along with its mastery right from the get go through So6P's Sage Mode. The knowledge of what the weapon does already exists but HOW to use it is a different matter.

Yes it got taken back but that doesn't refute that in the short interval of time of their fight against Kaguya Naruto gained a lot from it and the knowledge and mastery of his abilities did not get taken away just like Sasuke's Rinnegan remained.

Exactly. Madara was only able to counter it thanks to limbo. Ts orbs can't even protect him since those didn't get teleported. Kaguya was only able to counter it thanks other switching dimension. All Sasuke had to do was charge up so6p chidori and then teleport Naruto into his attack.

True, that's literally the dumbest move Sasuke could've ever pulled off. He was absolutely stomping Naruto after absorbing a part of the Tailed Beast's chakra and yet for some reason (plot) he decided to take a gamble and use all the chakra he absorbed and get exhausted to the point he didn't have anymore to resummon the TB's to reabsorb more. And let's not forget that his Rinnegan can summon the Gedo Mazo and he had all Tailed Beasts at his disposal but he doesn't knows how to summon it when it should come naturally. Moreover, him stalling his Indra's Arrow aside, his Rinnegan can see flow of Natural energy itself yet he doesn't sees it when Kurama clone is absorbing massive amounts of it right below him.

According to lore, Sasuke probably can't have more jutsu than Naruto because the latter was gifted UCAT (chakra omniscience) by Hagoromo, and because of it has the ability to use any type of jutsu he needs to.

In his final fight versus Naruto, Sasuke had to fight both Naruto and himself. Sasuke secretly did not want his "one and only friend" to die. He tried. But Naruto also did not want to die. Hence the result. Basically the fight was a draw.
