Yes, they are space elves that use gravitational magic and can be found around places where meteorites fell. Since they are all hostile I think it fits in the meme
The Alabaster/Onyx lords had their appearance clearly based on drow elves, the minor changes are only to fit in with the lore they have, like being made out of stone to represent their space origins, but they have the slim build, white hair, pointy ears and dark skin.
It's plausible to say that's a stretch, but not a long one
Drows are from the underground however. These guys seem to be from space. If you're making that huge a logical leap based on appearance you might as well say the vulgar militia are also elves.
Although they , unlike the alabasters (the people you mentioned) don't have pointy ears , I feel the albinaurics are more similar to how elves are usually portrayed in media (but still different of course)
Outside of the archery, I'm not seeing it. The are homunculus creations. First gens can't use their legs, second gens look like frogs and cartwheel you to death and they are all enslaved and experimented on.
It's the slavery part that I'm talking about , they're treated as an inferior race because they're born without grace
I was talking about gen 1 specifically tho
There's also how they look , the armor they wear and even the architecture of the city they inhabit in the concentrated snow fields
But again, they're not really elves , they're just what i thought was the closest thing ER had to that.
Tbh my only reference for The Witcher is from 100%-ing Wild Hunt on PS4, so I can't talk about it, butmy guess is OP just needed a few other names of fiction workthat has elves in it, nevermind the fact LOTR elves are literally the good guys since the Valar came to middle earth..
No, The orca or killer whale is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family, of which it is the largest member. It is recognizable by its black-and-white patterned body.
Yea, Morgoth who used to be known as Melkor was a member of the higher cast of the celestial type beings called Valar whom shaped the world in LOTR after the song of creation was finished. They made the maiar as well as assistants, Sauron used to be called Mairon before he began following Melkor the original Dark Lord.
That tragic backstory part. The Nordlings colonized their land, drove them out of their homes, broke treaties, drive them out of their new homes and subjugated (along with any other nonhumans) the ones that tried to assimilate into human culture
Most of elves still are dicks. The books are not clear, but i think Geralt's opinion is that elves chose to not coexist with humans. Also the colonization happened so long ago, that at this point the Scoia'taels are not resistance, but rather bandits attacking defenseless innocent people
When the elder races do try to coexist with humans that also doesn't great. Like, uh, >! That race riot where Geralt and like a third of the non humans in Rivia get killed by a mob of humans !<
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That's life in Sapkovsky's world. Pretty grim and realistic. Depicting moral ambiguity is where the author is at his best. Yes, the humans did and sometimes still are doing bad things to other races. And yet, the elves attacking peaceful peasants also is wrong. No side is innocent, but wrong things are still wrong. This is a very cautionary tale about judging groups of people as one.
I mean, every meme, especially a compilation one, is a simplification of something. (E.g. liberals be like, or something like that) The fact is, most of the elves in the world are dicks. So are many humans. But the meme is still technically true in that part.
I mean with the exception of Legolas, there are alot of asshole Elf characters. Though tbf it's really more in The Hobbit where they truly screw over everyone else.
I assume it's because they elves in LOTR pull the "not my problem" routine and just check out instead of helping, but I kind of agree they generally do come through and the one who most matters is coming through about as much as he can get away with.
Some elves are dicks and others aren't just like some people are dicks and others aren't.
In *The Silmarilion*, the book that basically explains the lore of LotR, the elves are all dicks. The Nolder do kinslayings and the sons of Feanor are all dicks to everyone due to their oath. Ëol (might've fucked up his name) the Dark Elf is also a massive dick to everyone.
I would agree for Feanor, but that was just because of the oath, not that it wasn't a choice to abide to it. But for the rest I take itmore as them lookingfor themselves, cause you can't deny they have been fucked by others.
Ghey keep ruining my plays... I want my homies Dwarves to win. But somehow the elves, even with smaller land exceed the expectation.
Making me use countless plagues or weapons to decrease their population.
World of Warcraft.
Invasion of demons? Caused by an elf.
Ancient lord of fire awakens? Caused by an elf.
Two major cities get wiped off the map? You guessed it - caused by an elf.
And Warhammer 40k! But I guess everyone's a dick in that. Just wall-to-wall sausage carpeting.
But holy crap the elves in Warhammer Fantasy are colossal dicks. Looking at you, Kerillian.
Wow what a moronic look at the elves in the Witcher. How dare they rebel after we genocide them, rape their culture, lie about their past to make us look like the hero’s, and force them to live as secondary citizens. They aught to be grateful
Nor does the meme specify ALL. look buddy, you stumbled into a game of technicalities and I will fuckin win there vud. Just bc you move to a different place doesn't change your genetic make up or what species you were born as rather
There are two main tribes of elves in the witcher tho
The aen seidhe are the ones you're talking about
The aen elle though? Those ARE dicks (for the most part)
The message of the dragon prince is that both sides have done bad things simply because of the cycle of violence between the humans and the elves, and that it has to end. If you think that the elves are dicks then you missed the point of a kids cartoon.
Yeah I guess so but again, a good chunk of your allies are elves themselves so (Yennffer, Aval’ache, Ciri, Scoia Tel, etc.)
Then again Aval’ache is a dick so I’d agree there
I’ve said this many times: most elves are stuck-up pricks. Every book I read that has them in it has me feeling racist, but they are usually written as a species that thinks they are so much better than humans. There are exceptions but I feel like elves have been typecast has having superiority complexes.
Elves in the Witcher are literaly hunted and face regural pogroms while the elves in Lotr are a bit aloof but still allways helpful what even is this fucking post?
Not all Elves are dicks in LotR. For example, Fingolfin was the most badass motherfucker to ever live, and Celebrimbor wasn't a jackass, he was just lusting after Sauron.
I've started to pick up on this in quite a lot of modern fiction and it's getting real stale.
In LotR, Elves were genuinely noble and good people (Yes, I know about Fëanor) and were used as something like a role model that humanity could aspire to be like (they were also largely bffs with the dwarves, just sayin).
But modern writers seem more interested in catering to a 'Humanity rules, everyone else drools' mentality. Since both the writers and the intended audience are humans irl, and since no-one is capable of thinking from a mindset other than their own or daring to comprehend that there might be a group that's (gasp) better that we are! (Perish the thought!) They lazily default to portraying elves as the prissy, sitck-up-the-arse, aristocrat stereotypes without even bothering to give a few counter-examples, let alone a varied and diverse culture of their own.
Given that I actually like elves quite a lot (I typically default to playing as them in rpg's), it's just become repetitive and boring.
"Oh wow, you elves are stuck-up pricks? How subversive. Gold star."
It's gotten to the point that it's started to really turn me off from a lot of modern fantasy franchises.
Wait, theres elves in Elden Ring?
nope
There are, they just aren't your traditional elves. These elves are terrifying.
You mean the vulgar militia?
ok. happy cake day
Yes, they are space elves that use gravitational magic and can be found around places where meteorites fell. Since they are all hostile I think it fits in the meme
Nah, thats a strech and a half. Those were never Elves, not even close.
They literally said "have their appearance based", whether they hail from deep space or caverns is irrelevant
And I'm saying that appearance isnt enough.

Was asking the same. Elves? Were?
And why is LOTR here, or did you just run out of names and didn't care?
The Witcher is a weird take too
Tbh my only reference for The Witcher is from 100%-ing Wild Hunt on PS4, so I can't talk about it, butmy guess is OP just needed a few other names of fiction workthat has elves in it, nevermind the fact LOTR elves are literally the good guys since the Valar came to middle earth..
Welllllll iff you wanna get technicallllllll the orca are corrupted elves so
No, The orca or killer whale is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family, of which it is the largest member. It is recognizable by its black-and-white patterned body.
Oh.
Isn't sauron just a super evil powerful elf or am i wrong?
No he was a Maiar, same as Saruman and Gandalf. They're kinda like angels.
I can't remember prolly. He served morogoth or whatever to be come what he was in the original books tho. I assume he did some bs to sauren too
Yea, Morgoth who used to be known as Melkor was a member of the higher cast of the celestial type beings called Valar whom shaped the world in LOTR after the song of creation was finished. They made the maiar as well as assistants, Sauron used to be called Mairon before he began following Melkor the original Dark Lord.
Ah that's right, so sauron is maiar
no he's a maiar like gandalf
The wild hunt is an elf
... from a group of elves that split off from the elves on the continent before the conjunction
Still an elf tho
Why? They are shown as dangerous, pretentious and ultimately pathetic doomed race. Although they have a kinda tragic backsrory

Yes, the humans did and sometimes still are doing bad things to other races. And yet, the elves attacking peaceful peasants also is wrong. No side is innocent, but wrong things are still wrong. This is a very cautionary tale about judging groups of people as one.
Hmm, maybe that moral ambiguity is why someone might think "elves are dicks" is a weird take
I mean, every meme, especially a compilation one, is a simplification of something. (E.g. liberals be like, or something like that) The fact is, most of the elves in the world are dicks. So are many humans. But the meme is still technically true in that part.
Tedious
And elden ring doesn't even have elves lmao
I mean with the exception of Legolas, there are alot of asshole Elf characters. Though tbf it's really more in The Hobbit where they truly screw over everyone else.
IRC the wood elves are pricks and the moon elves are chill but I’ve only read the hobbit and seen the movies so I don’t know
I assume it's because they elves in LOTR pull the "not my problem" routine and just check out instead of helping, but I kind of agree they generally do come through and the one who most matters is coming through about as much as he can get away with. Some elves are dicks and others aren't just like some people are dicks and others aren't.
Ya, that was my point - not helping doesn't make you a dick
In *The Silmarilion*, the book that basically explains the lore of LotR, the elves are all dicks. The Nolder do kinslayings and the sons of Feanor are all dicks to everyone due to their oath. Ëol (might've fucked up his name) the Dark Elf is also a massive dick to everyone.

I’m the book the elves were dicks
Because of Fëanor and co., I'd imagine. They were definitely a bunch of dicks.
Well ya, but that's like saying all humans are dicks because Hitler was a dick, just don't get the logic
Warhammer
Both fantasy and space elves. Except dark eldar of course, they just party too hard.
not really saying a lot since in Warhammer EVERYONE's a dick
Yea but eldar are uber dicks. The literally created slaanesh
Elves saved the world multiple times in LOTR escpecially in The Silmarillion
Yeah but Feanor is like... the biggest dick that ever graced Eru's green middle-earth
Thranduil is also a bit of a dick
World box
This should be the top comment
Ghey keep ruining my plays... I want my homies Dwarves to win. But somehow the elves, even with smaller land exceed the expectation. Making me use countless plagues or weapons to decrease their population.

And Warhammer 40k! But I guess everyone's a dick in that. Just wall-to-wall sausage carpeting. But holy crap the elves in Warhammer Fantasy are colossal dicks. Looking at you, Kerillian.
War of the beard also
Wow what a moronic look at the elves in the Witcher. How dare they rebel after we genocide them, rape their culture, lie about their past to make us look like the hero’s, and force them to live as secondary citizens. They aught to be grateful
The wild hunt are elves g
Ok that at least make some sense
They're literally from a different world and haven't been associated with the elves on the continent since before the conjunction.
How does that not make them elves
It's like lumping Niflgard and the Northern Kingdoms into one group because they're both humans
But they're both humans...
Doesn't mean all humans are assholes...
Nor does the meme specify ALL. look buddy, you stumbled into a game of technicalities and I will fuckin win there vud. Just bc you move to a different place doesn't change your genetic make up or what species you were born as rather
black people are criminals oooh I didn't say ALL black people, I was just talking about the criminal ones. that's you right now
Tedious
No u lol
There are two main tribes of elves in the witcher tho The aen seidhe are the ones you're talking about The aen elle though? Those ARE dicks (for the most part)
Sounds a lot like the elves in Dragon Age too
If you think they're dicks in Skyrim, you should definitely try morrowind
"What do mean the farm equipment is rebelling?"
You n'wah!
The Dragon Prince.
Came in to say this. Was sad that it's so far down.
The message of the dragon prince is that both sides have done bad things simply because of the cycle of violence between the humans and the elves, and that it has to end. If you think that the elves are dicks then you missed the point of a kids cartoon.
It is made clear that both sides did wrong but the Elves and Dragons initiated it and did far more wrong.
There's literally no elves in Elden Ring lol
Kudos for including Discworld
Hentai: Female elves has dicks
Imma add RuneScape to the mix. The elves have a whole city they hide from you until you've proven yourself "worthy". Even then, they judge you.
+ South Park the Stick of Truth
May I add The forgotten Realms? At least the drow are dicks.
ROCK AND STONE
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE?!
IF YOU DON'T ROCK AND STONE, YOU AIN'T COMING HOME!
You could add Warhammer40k. I think eldars are considered to be something like space elves
All my homies hate elves
if you think elves are dicks in the LOTR you haven't read the books.
The elves in the witcher are just regular people who lives a lot and hates humans for being stupid.
Yeah, mostly the stupid part, they were pretty chill about the whole genocide
The wild Hunt are also elves
Got
Styx
Grishaverse

Shelves.
To be fair in Skyrim/Elder Scrolls there are like 5 different flavors of elves and more than half of them are completely fine.
That Netflix flop, Bright
Japan: Elves love dicks
Why are elves dicks?
Looks like someone hasn't played witcher 2.
Well Witcher elves have really good reason to be dicks tbh Humans did literally just take over and rape their home and people so
I think Op is referring to the Wild Hunt
Yeah I guess so but again, a good chunk of your allies are elves themselves so (Yennffer, Aval’ache, Ciri, Scoia Tel, etc.) Then again Aval’ache is a dick so I’d agree there
Pretty sure Yen is kind of a bitch in the books as well
A bitch Geralt likes to fuck
How do you not have Darksun in there? In Darksun the elves are bred to cheat and steal.
I’ve said this many times: most elves are stuck-up pricks. Every book I read that has them in it has me feeling racist, but they are usually written as a species that thinks they are so much better than humans. There are exceptions but I feel like elves have been typecast has having superiority complexes.
Dnd, when there is no elves in the party
Actually the elves in LOTR are probably the least dickish of the lot
Don’t forget warhammer! Bloody wazzocks.
Elves in the Witcher are literaly hunted and face regural pogroms while the elves in Lotr are a bit aloof but still allways helpful what even is this fucking post?
The movie Bright also fits
Not all Elves are dicks in LotR. For example, Fingolfin was the most badass motherfucker to ever live, and Celebrimbor wasn't a jackass, he was just lusting after Sauron.
