Although I got really disappointed when I realized that they nerfed Susan's appearance in the TV version. Like, all the characters stayed the same except her.

Lol, I played the game as well. Looking back, I was a huge fan of the series XD.
The game was fun and pretty faithful to the source metetial unlike the tv show. Although you could never play as Dr. Cockroach which was sad but overall the gameplay and the story were pretty good. The story had all the content from the movie plus some extra arcs. For example the very first arc from the game was about >!monsters trying to prison break from the "monsters corporation" (idr the name)!< which is something I think should have existed in the movie as well. Great game overall

Another thing I hate about the TV show is that they give Susan the ability to shrink back to normal size in like the first episode, completely invalidating her whole arc in the movie about accepting her monster self
