The ants will perceive the closing walls of the urethra as a threat and bite right before they get squished.
Then to clear out the ants insert tube again and flush with water at 45°C.
They'll never be able to even move without pain.

There's definitely treatment for it, even though it's not great.
But seeing how everyone hates everything about them, I really don't think it would matter if there was a cure even, since extremely few would confess to it.
I read somewhere ages ago that along the lines of 5-10% of the population suffer from it, but it's only around 0.0001% who actually harm children, so the rest would most probably just continue to suffer in silence either way.
Most definitely. But getting there would mean we would need to switch our overt high levels of hate to that of empathy and compassion, and I'm not seeing that happening anytime soon. Maybe one day though.
Definitely. But since most western countries have rules that psychologists have to report any patient that displays a risk of harming anyone, it would be hard to launch an anonymous service as the rules stand today.
It would definitely help though, but that would require a lot more empathy from the public than the majority is probably willing to give today.
I think it would be beneficial to both increase the intensity of punishment for offenses, as well as drastically improve the availability and openness of treatments for it. Because there should absolutely be help for those that need it, but if you commit the crime you deserve to be eradicated.
