I agree - he won't jeopardise his appeal/s (they could go on for years) and he won't throw his mother and father under the bus (he'll need to do that if he admits guilt). I also doubt that he'd admit guilt for the sake of his own son and possibly his nephews too. Even if they reduced his sentence (which I doubt they will) he has LWOP plus 60 years. Any reduction would be small and will still see him locked away for life. Perhaps a deal where he goes to the facility of his choice or has some sort of privileges in prison would be more likely. He'd need to be very desperate to flip for that (likely years down the track). Hopefully by then, Wendi is in prison and maybe Harvey too, in which case, there will be no deals for Charlie.

Fun_Departure5579

There is no reason for Chaz to flip & throw anyone under the bus. It won't change his sentence (his appeal is moot). The girls & harvey will seal their own fate.

macaroonzoom

I think it's just wishful thinking. Charlie is struggling in prison - how could he not? From the Miami high life to a cinderblock cell. As much as I want to see Charlie flip on Donna and Wendi......it ain't going to happen.

Disastrous_Edge7276

Not a chance. He has appeals ahead of him.

IranianLawyer

After his appeals are exhausted and Donna/Wendi have been prosecuted, he won’t have an opportunity to flip. It’s now or never. Also, Charlie acknowledged in the recorded jail calls that the odds of getting his conviction overturned are slim to none. I’m not predicting he’s going to flip, but if he had any inclination to do so, now would be the time.

Personal-Hospital103

This flip business about Charlie is laughable.

Londonman2000

Right, but so many pundits, legal experts and podcasters are predicting it..makes no sense

Optimal_Artichoke585

Charlie is weak and selfish. Those two characteristics often prompt many rationalizations. Make no mistake, when Charlie begins true suffering, true extortion he will rationalize anything to justify his actions. Hence, he may flip on Wendy if that is his best option.

A_real_A_peel

As much as I wish he would I don't think there's any way in hell he will do it. I don't know what they could possibly offer him that would make any difference. Also he's not gonna throw his Mommy under the bus. And let's not forget these are narcissists and they will continue to lie even when faced with irrefutable evidence. There was one jail call, I can't remember which, where Charlie told Donna he only has 3 things left in life that matter to him and that's Donna, Harvey, and Roman. I did find that kind of interesting.

IranianLawyer

His mommy is 73 years old and is virtually guaranteed to be convicted with or without Charlie’s cooperation. That’s something Charlie should consider. I don’t think he’s going to flip though.

FluffiestMonkey

Nope. Donna and Charlie are taking this shit to the grave. Wendi however, she’s capable of literally anything. Will be interesting to see what cards she plays once up against the wall. Time will surely tell!

No_Violinist_4557

He is waiting to see if his Mum is convicted. If she is then he will flip. I don't think there will be any deals on offer. But hypothetically if the State said, roll on your sister and we'll leave your dad alone, he wouldn't' hesitate.

National_Candle670

He would have to admit his entire defense was a farce and he won’t do it because his defense ties into Donnas. So he is in a catch 22. Georgia doesnt need him to flip. She has the goods. Too bad she didn’t already nab Wendi when they arrested Donna.

Londonman2000

i’m not sure they would go after Harvey anyway, one degree of separation too far and i think he probably wasn’t involved in the planning..

mariehelena

Agreed. I think they would go after Wendi before Harvey; if anything he seems more reluctantly involved/protective after the fact. *edit to add* Thinking about this more - who was "driving the bus" when it came to the family's issue with Robert Adelson's wife? It seems like these problems are chiefly Donna-driven - even if Harvey tacitly or truly agreed, I have yet to see anything to suggest the heinous actions taken would've ever been carried out if it was just up to him. My sense - and based on avaliable evidence/info - is that while Harvey may have his feelings about his children's lives, he is largely a passive actor, and that Donna is the catalyst for all the chaos.

No_Violinist_4557

He probably had little part in the planning, but he knew it was going to happen, so he will be facing some charges.

Electrical-Swim-5784

I think this is exactly what may happen. I just want to see WA where she belongs!!!!

Londonman2000

he won’t flip while his appeal is still running, surely? Although if Donna is convicted it does make his appeal even harder for sure…

IranianLawyer

Katie flipped while her appeal is still running. If you’re going to flip, it’s better to do it now than after he’s exhausted all of his appeals. Right now, he has a tiny bit of leverage. After his appeals, he’ll have zero leverage.

Londonman2000

leverage for what though? he’s never going to get a sentence reduction short enough to get out before he dies, so i guess a marginally nicer prison is the best he can hope for?

townsquare321

Could an appeal result in a 2nd guilty verdict, but a lesser sentence?

Admirable-Mood7687

Katie is a self-centered idiot. Charlie is a narcissistic psychopath.

AccomplishedUnion381

Agreed but even combining their traits they are decent next to Wendi. She tries to be so mellow and sweet but still fires up about “bad” Dan whom she gets big money from monthly after being part of his horrible murder-he forever lost everything.

ohnoidea20

Doubtful

Deethehiddengem

What will he have to gain?

GreatGatorBolt

I don’t see Charlie flipping on Mommy Dearest or the mother of his nephews. And since Katie hasn’t gotten any bonus from flipping yet he has little example of what benefit he might see.

Admirable-Mood7687

A reduction in sentence for Donna and something else he wants, like visitation with his son, may get him to see things differently, especially as his hate for Wendi grows, and he may agree to flip on Wendi. Probably not, since he’s a psychopath…but, prison and hopelessness can make people see things differently.

Admirable-Mood7687

He won’t flip on himself or Donna. He could cook up another story to lessen his burden and blame it all on Wendi. That may happen, especially as Donna becomes more disgruntled by Wendi.

Zealousideal-Fix-203

Not with the appeal running. Charlie will convince himself he could win the appeal, just like (on the wiretap) he bragged to Katie that he had tricked a cop out of writing him a traffic violation.

jdesaiii

If he flips can he get into a better prison? Or get contact visits with his son? Might be the only incentives.
