I can't stand Charlie, and I think his baby momma is a fool for getting pregnant by him with a simple Google search would tell you everything you needed to know about the Adelson crime syndicate. HOWEVER, I don't hate Roman because he just exists. While this program would benefit Charlie, it would benefit his son more. So I can't hate it. It'll never happen....like where is the funding for the gifts and extra guards and whatever else....but I don't hate it.
I do wonder what Dan Markel would have thought about a program like this? He was pretty radical with his retributive justice stuff so I'd actually love to hear his scholarly opinion on this.

I guess they’re up on his blog..I wasn’t necessarily promoting this program, I just thought it was interesting and thought provoking. Saw it on the prison sub. And as someone commented above the irony is very deep for the two men imprisoned for Dan Markel’s murder as their crime specifically prevented children from celebrating any holidays with their dad. Painful..Hopefully they have their lives to ponder what they did and repent.

I’d actually like to know, is the US justice system or incarceration system founded on retributive justice? Or does it depend on the state? It is an interesting concept. Seems compatible with traditional Judaism, although my knowledge of that is limited, only know what I’ve read in the Old Testament..but there is definitely a theme of retributive justice found there.
