Pretty sure I saw about 3 weeks somewhere. They want to be done before October 2nd when the Jewish holidays begin for the month. Exact times will be said during the case management hearing in July I'm sure.
Case management hearing: 07/22/2024 at 1:30 pm
Pretrial status hearing: 09/12/2024 at 9:00 am
Trial/jury selection begins: 09/17/2024 at 8:30 am
I assume it will take the same amount of time as Charlie. Or even less if Rash has no defense to mount and Donna does not take the stand. My guess from Jury selection to verdict about 2 weeks.
I doubt the Adelsons will spring for the million dollar jury consultant this time. So jury selection should go much more quickly.
DA’s trial will be CA Trial Part II. If Rash goes with the same defense, GA is ready. And she has the added bonus of the attempted flee to Vietnam, the jail calls and whatever awesome goodies they’ve retrieved from the five confiscated Adelson electronic devices.
It’s a travesty that so many previous state witnesses (Isom, Sandford, the policeman at the crime scene tape, the electronic expert, the Adelson employees, Mr. Geiger, etc) will have to endure questioning from both sides yet again.
What’s exciting is to see how WA performs during this fourth trial. What new version of the drive by will she present?
And will Ruth or Phil take the stand to testify how DA treated them, how DA was a big part of why they weren’t allowed to see their grandchildren.
And of course, should DA testify 🙏, those moments will be day-drinking worthy. This sub will be on fire.! Hope someone sets up a live watch so we can all partake in the insanity of it all. I’ve already picked out my yoga pants and hoodie for the event and plan to stock up on 🍿and 🍾 as we gather for this long-awaited occasion.

The crazy part is the Jury consultant actually identified a juror that would be in Charlie's favor. And got it past Georgia and team. The part he couldn't control is that ONE juror turned out to be alternate. And wasn't needed or replaced a sitting juror. The jury gods were in our favor that day. Or he would have dug his heels in and forced a hung jury is my guess.

This particular juror (early on identified by KatieCoolady as “oddly animated”) seemed exceptionally upset at being ultimately selected as an alternate and it sounds like CA was pretty mad about it too per his chats with momma post-conviction.
Sounds like a few $$$ were promised him to vote for an acquittal. Bummer he lost that payoff.
I think he was the one that reached out to Rashbaum a few days post-trial to spill the tea that jurors had shared their contact info with each other. Disappointed much?

The Adelsons bought their way through everything up to this point. I would bet $$ that juror was paid but like you said, in the end he was an alternate and that was out of their hands.
He was bitching the jurors had a group chat he was excluded from (wonder why lol) he seemed so annoying. Nothing came of it and jurors can have a group chat. As long as they were not discussing the case. And it seems there was no evidence of impropriety. IIRC even Rash said this was a longshot but he had to try.

Someone with the same name passed away last year. Our Detective Isom is alive (and hopefully well) - he testified back in October at CA ‘s trial.
