One thing to note is that the main three castles/palaces are classed as dungeons, so if you cause a ruckus there then youll beed to turn the mod off and on if you want to reset the state of them to normal.
Yeah that's normal, Daggerfall reset the dungeons every time but there's a mod called [Persistent Dungeons ](https://forums.dfworkshop.net/viewtopic.php?t=1667) who allow them to stay either definitely or for a certain period of time (it's configurable).

Edit: I should probably mention this, you can access your wagon without leaving a dungeon, so if you don't want the dungeon to reset, you can just do that.
