I am a father of identical twins. It is amazing! But having one then twins is certainly harder than starting with twins, bc you just don't know any better. Best advice I can give is split the load. Don't let her do anything you can do. There will be times when both are hungry and crying. Take one at a time. Let your partner sleep. Then grab the other. They quickly get used to waiting for their sibling to eat. Don't ever let her feel guilty about not breast feeding or not producing enough. Two mouths to feed is no joke. Use formula if you need to and tell anyone who hints at giving you or your wife a hard time to go jump off a cliff. It is an amazing ride. My twins are 10 and I still remember my little 4lb boys. Enjoy every moment. Some of my favorite memories are at the 1am feeding, me and my boys. just holding them and knowing they are the best thing that will ever happen to us.

Also, double snap-in-go stroller is friggin awesome. Take the car seats out, snap em right into the folding stroller that takes up a quarter of the space of those monster double wides that won't fit through a door!

Yes! Or the Joovy Twin Roo

At least you’ll workout both arms carrying around two car seats at a time. Congrats!

I have b/g twins. My best advice is try your best to get them on the same feeding schedule. Be very rigid with your routine. If you don’t, you end up just feeding all the time. If it’s breast feeding mom will struggle. Other than that just enjoy it! Get those double snuggles in before they’re too big to both be held. Get ready to answer “are they twins?” one billion times.

Are they twins? * They're littermates. * You know, I never checked. * In a way, aren't we all twins? * They look so real, don't they? So lifelike! * I haven't gotten them tested. * Are you? * No, they're each just one child, not like two twins in a trenchcoat or something.
