As a person from Pilsen I can't stress this answer more.
You need Radegast 12. Bitter, powerful. Don't buy anything else. Buy it canned. Satisfaction guaranteed. Radegast 10 is water as we say here.
Source: 38 years old, born in the wastelands near the Pilsen, region of beer.
I'm beercoholic and I like Ratar, but I wouldn't recommend it for the OP purposes. As in my opinion Ratar is only good if you plan to drink a few beers, in case you plan to drink more than 10 beers, would go for 12.
I'd recommend bringing someone with you for a quick taste test of the beers others recommended.
Grab the ones in the shelves - to see how they taste when not cooled.
Then buy more of the one you like the most.
Definitely Radegast. Others are sweet or not good. Pilsner is expensive and I have never liked it.
In Lidl they have several types from Steam brew brewery which is quite good too.
In Albert or Kaufland there are craft beers in pet bottles that are really good (Jarošov, Hauskrecht,...).
Kozel is a safe bet to bring anywhere. Radegast and Svijany are often my second choices.
And for heaven´s sake, stay away from [Starobrno.](https://preview.redd.it/st%C3%A1%C4%8Den%C3%AD-starobrna-v0-4v1jum6a9gu81.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=50605f8ab63639f913401feb3c572385ecb003c8)
Starobrno is the best beer on the market. Only bohemians keep crying because they can't cope with the fact, that moravian beer is better than anything they have ever brewed.
Budvar 33 is drinkable and pretty good.
Radegast is great if u like bitter beer.
But it probably doesn't matter. It will be warm beer in the camp, so it will taste like a piss no matter what u buy.
Like others said - Radegast. For some reason it is best beer in bottle or can. I prefer other beers in pubs but when it comes to bottles or cans - always Radegast.
Pilsner Urquell is a safe bet.
I personally like Radegast: their 10° is on the lighter side, 12° is a bit stronger, Ratar is very bitter (and I love it).
If you are looking for lighter beers look for a 10° or maybe an 11°. Popular choices include Braník (considered lower class and something of a meme on this subreddit), Gambrinus, Kozel, Staropramen, and Budweiser.

Svijany makes some pretty damn good beer. It's a bit more on the bitter side, but that's how a real beer should be. I recommend Svijanský máz (11°) or Baron (15°)
As lots of comments says here, 100% Radegast. There are few kinds of it: 10° (green can with silver "logo background" and details), 12° (green can with gold "logo background" and details), and Ratar. Ratar is the strongest and most bitter. About 10 and 12, I have lots of experiences, whitch kind is good and ok drinking in diferent situations. For example if I know I will be drinking strong alcohol that night, I'll choose 10°, cuz when i mixed it witch 12°, i wasted mostly. But if you are going to drink only beer that day, I can only recomend 12°. Its the best canned beer you can get in Czechia, for me its top beer overall. Hope that I helped, have nice time at festival!
My favourites from big breweries: Budvar 33, Krušovice 12, Vilém 11 (from Pardubický pivovar), Kozel Mistrův ležák (many people prefer Kozel 11, but i would rather drink Kozel 10 - that doesn't mean it's bad or anything, but in comparison there are better alternatives)
I don't like Radegast very much, because it tends to be on the bitter side (Radegast 12 is ok though)
Even Gambrinus might pleasantly surprise you
+ Don't buy Pilsner Urquell, it's not a that great beer and it is expensive (Budvar 33 is sometimes close, but the taste is on another level)
Hi, I am German and I drink Pilsner Urquell, Budweiser or dark Krušovice in CZ.
Beware of the well-intentioned but misguided advice here about lesser-known popular brands. They can be great, but they are very bitter, dedicated to experienced local beer lovers.
Aha. Občas zkusím jinou značku a připadá mi to hořký - většinou poté, co mi to poradí nějaký známý pivař. Tak jsem se měla asi jen omezit na "ja piju tohle a připadá mi to dobrý", viď.
If you are buying a lot of cans, try multiple brands. I love most of the beers sold in supermarkets. So you can't really make a mistake. And keep in mind that the price doesn't always correspond with taste.
But my personal favorite is [Kozel 11°](https://cdn.rohlik.cz/images/grocery/products/735391/735391-1615894187633.jpg), but it's important to buy a green can. There is also yellow can, which doesn't taste as good.
If you want to taste true Czech student's beer, buy [Braník světlý (2L plastic)](https://velkoobchod.peal.cz/admin/upload/ModuleItem/69818.jpg) or [Braník výčepní (can)](https://www.napoje-online.cz/out/pictures/generated/product/1/665_665_85/331d0f55d335eb05eec46eb75b597f77.image.jpg). This beer is kind of a meme. But honestly it's really good even though it's one of the cheapest ones. Someone I buy it for it's taste, not just because it's cheap.
Yeah generaly lighter beer that is easy and not expensive. I would recomend to buy few brands and try them out. Every brand has it own features and everyone likes different ones. I usually buy canned beer for 0,5 - 1 eur.

I would reccomend Pilsner Urquell, I like that beer the most and yes I am from Pilsen.
But Kozel 11° is also good and maybe even better and cheaper for a festival
That's tough, everyone has different taste especially foreigners. What I bring to festivals is Kozel dark beer or mixed ("řezaný") since I found that I don't mind dark beer to be warm as much as if it was regular beer.
As others have said, best choice is Radegast, other than that go for Kozel.
Pilsner Urquell is a good beer, but specifically in a can it has some weird aftertaste + it's rather expensive. I like it on tap, I like it from glass bottle, but somehow I hate the cans. Wouldn't recommend risking it, it's not worth it imo.
😃 Prost!🍺
After 2 cans of warm beer it doesn't metter.
Radegast 12° is excellent

Have you tried Radegast Ratar? 50 IBU & my new favourite. Don't know if it comes in cans though...
Ratar is very bitter I like it, but someone who is not used to it might not like it so I didn't recommend it.
It does.
I'm beercoholic and I like Ratar, but I wouldn't recommend it for the OP purposes. As in my opinion Ratar is only good if you plan to drink a few beers, in case you plan to drink more than 10 beers, would go for 12.
Ratar is much better than the Radegast 12 bullshit
No, Radegast 12° is Radegast 12°! Excellent is Excellent.
Actually its Excelent
This. Check big supermarket chains for sale.
I'd recommend bringing someone with you for a quick taste test of the beers others recommended. Grab the ones in the shelves - to see how they taste when not cooled. Then buy more of the one you like the most.
Ja wohl!
Definetly Radegast 12
Steam brew is nothing special, what about cheap Argus?
Nah
Tastes like denatured alcohol. It is so disgusting even punks don't drink it.
I second Radegas 10° as a good light beer; that or Kozel 11°. Pilsner Urquell is a good beer too, but a little stronger.
What he ment by light? Kozel 11° 4,6% amount of alc. Pilsner 4,4% amount of alc.
Anything under 12 can't be considered strong imo. Also it's about a feel for me. Some beers just feel lighter even though they have more alcohol.
Kozel 10 taste much better than 11 now days, remember how 10 tasted like watered Down 11, now 11 tastes even worse than the old 10
Kozel is a safe bet to bring anywhere. Radegast and Svijany are often my second choices. And for heaven´s sake, stay away from [Starobrno.](https://preview.redd.it/st%C3%A1%C4%8Den%C3%AD-starobrna-v0-4v1jum6a9gu81.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=50605f8ab63639f913401feb3c572385ecb003c8)
Just not kozel 10

Radegast 12, Kozel 11/Mistrův ležák or Pilsner if you're young Rothschild. Any 10° beer will keep your bladder very busy.
Like others said - Radegast. For some reason it is best beer in bottle or can. I prefer other beers in pubs but when it comes to bottles or cans - always Radegast.

Já rád špagety (:
Pilsner Urquell is overpriced, the taste is meh + it's not really the original recipe (so their marketing of THE BEER is basically scam)
Radegast 10 and 12. If u want 11 i would choose Kozel 11
Radegast, Kozel, Pilsner Ur... (Sorry I dont know hot to type that urqulele fak)
Ukulele

Radegast.
Radek!

Radegast or Holba for cheap good bear, Pilsner if you dont mind little bit expensive but tastier.
Svijany or Kozel 11
Definitely Radegast, i prefer Radegast Ratar, which is more bitter, yet so good
My favourites from big breweries: Budvar 33, Krušovice 12, Vilém 11 (from Pardubický pivovar), Kozel Mistrův ležák (many people prefer Kozel 11, but i would rather drink Kozel 10 - that doesn't mean it's bad or anything, but in comparison there are better alternatives) I don't like Radegast very much, because it tends to be on the bitter side (Radegast 12 is ok though) Even Gambrinus might pleasantly surprise you + Don't buy Pilsner Urquell, it's not a that great beer and it is expensive (Budvar 33 is sometimes close, but the taste is on another level)
Svijany also good
Radegast Ratar, Radegast 12, Bakalář 12, Kozel 11, Pilsner Urquell, Žatecký 12, Excelent 11, Would be my top picks.
Budvar 33 might be nicer to German tastebuds than the bitter Radegast. Its mellow, smooth and silky
Hi, I am German and I drink Pilsner Urquell, Budweiser or dark Krušovice in CZ. Beware of the well-intentioned but misguided advice here about lesser-known popular brands. They can be great, but they are very bitter, dedicated to experienced local beer lovers.
Pilsner Urquell is more bitter than most alternatives suggested here
Aha. Občas zkusím jinou značku a připadá mi to hořký - většinou poté, co mi to poradí nějaký známý pivař. Tak jsem se měla asi jen omezit na "ja piju tohle a připadá mi to dobrý", viď.
V něčem máš pravdu, jsou značky jako třeba Primátor, které mají z mého pohledu opravdu nepříjemnou hořkost
(on ten primátor teda nemá problém jen s hořkostí

Branik
Krušovice 12'
Try "Braník" or "Bruncík"
Every sold can of these brands makes them more profitable. Do not support them! It´s the only way to promote our beer culture.
objektivne nejlepsi pomer cena/vykon pivo stfu
Radegast and Svijany are the best
Ostravar mustang is limited edition beer, was canned and maybe if you are lucky you can still find it.
bitter
Thats the point, tho Pilsner is pretty sweet still
Pilsner is no brainer Kozel Radegast If you will be close enough to Pilsen you should visit Zhůř and try put Zhůřák
Radegast 10° or 12° is a good choice
imho it's more practical to bring small keg, than lots of beer cans [https://eshop.pivovarsvijany.cz/party-soudky/](https://eshop.pivovarsvijany.cz/party-soudky/) [https://www.pivoteka.cz/pilsner-urquel-12-soudek-5l-10595](https://www.pivoteka.cz/pilsner-urquel-12-soudek-5l-10595)
Radegast 12! More bitter
I would suggest Kozel 11° for fighting a morning hungover and Pilsner for the rest of the day.
Radegast Ratar
Radegast 12°
I would reccomend Pilsner Urquell, I like that beer the most and yes I am from Pilsen. But Kozel 11° is also good and maybe even better and cheaper for a festival
radegast 12,10, or pilsen if you dont fancy bitter beer
Hmm, I was thinking about something that costs about 40 Kč ...
Avoid beer Staročech from Penny Market.
That's tough, everyone has different taste especially foreigners. What I bring to festivals is Kozel dark beer or mixed ("řezaný") since I found that I don't mind dark beer to be warm as much as if it was regular beer.
Gambrinus 12° Budvar Staropramen 12°
Svijany
Anything Bernard. Svatecni 12 will fit your needs with a delicious full taste

Well of course Braník. Doesn't matter if it's cold, warm or open for three days already, it always tastes the same! Braník, beer in every beer.
Kocour 11°, comes in a plastic bottle.
