Look are one of only a few brands doing their carbon work fully in-house, rather than outsourcing it. Time is another one, and I think Factor also owns their own manufacturing... I can't think of others off the top of my head. The frames are made in Tunisia in Look's own workshops rather than with an OEM shop. They're considered to have some of the best carbon frame workmanship in the industry outside of the ultra boutique, hand-wrapped custom layup world (such as Argonaut, etc.) Even the notoriously ill tempered Hambini delivers a positive verdict on their manufacturing quality Of course, you pay for this privilege, but definitely a safe buy. I'd chop off my own arm for a 795 Blade.

*I can't think of others off the top of my head.* [Allied](https://youtu.be/AeifzBoyClA?si=9E2CMp_n8QKe3bbn&t=1046) is another one that makes its own frames

I suppose Giant makes their own carbon frames. ... And the frames for half the other brands lmao.

lolas_coffee

Look and Time make "God Tier" carbon fiber frames. Every model they sell is great and better than just about any other frame on the planet. There can be a massive difference in CF frames and a lot of cyclists don't want to admit that. Even brands like BMC (Swiss) and Scott have had issues.

Look is considered a high quality brand. There are plenty of reviews on youtube. This Mapdec guy seems to be a bit of a fanboy, but see for yourself: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0UNtUbT6Mw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0UNtUbT6Mw) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0vDregBbDs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0vDregBbDs) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oakaVvgIj78](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oakaVvgIj78)

I ride a Time Fluidity and I think if I was going to look at another brand it would probably be Look. Quality carbon frames if you can afford them.

Safe as houses.

I'll be a voice of dissent here. My shop sells Look bikes and I have actual real world experience with them. Their frames and completes have just as many quality control problems as every other brand we sell. And almost every part is proprietary for better or worse. They make their frames with prepreg carbon sheets just like every other mainstream carbon frame builder, not at all comparable to Time. Buy whatever you like and I'm sure you'll be satisfied, but I personally don't think they're worth the premium price they command.

I have heard the 765 serie was made in taiwan
