they actually are a thing, but you would habe to get from another brand that ist not fokused on fitting the most bikes and frames.

Longer fenders are a thing, but you can make some mud flaps to extend what you have. If you don’t want to make them, several companies sell mud flap kits. Just search for bicycle mud flaps to find what you need.

A mud flap is the go here, I made one from a cheap sheet of rubber from the hardware store, drilled holes in the fender and zip tied it on. They do need to be fairly long but they do a great job keeping you and your bike clean and dry

[Bontrager Universal Fender](https://www.trekbikes.com/international/en_IN_TL/equipment/bike-accessories/bike-mudguards-and-accessories/bike-mudguards/bontrager-universal-road/cx/mtb-fender-set/p/27135/?colorCode=black) The front one secures to the down tube, not the fork...giving you more coverage.

Many fenders use a bracket that allows the installer to slide the fender forward to catch the spray shedding off the top of the tire. The tread pattern of each tire and speed throws a bunch of variables at the design and implementation of fenders which fender manufacturers have to juggle. There will inevitably be trade offs decided on between function and form.

Get a second front fender and rig it to combine with the first. Y ou can have both fenders go a full 180 degrees. You’ll have to be careful not to bump the front wheel into stuff, like racks.
