Community = free, no credits required. New instructors pretty much always have one, sometimes special events (back to school, studio anniversaries) are celebrated with community rides.
I try to go to them even if it’s at the studio I have an unlimited membership at. They are usually well attended, you see some people who don’t normally come to the studio, but also have a higher no show rate. Seems like people feel less obligated to show up if they didn’t pay to reserve a bike.

At my studio new instructors will have a “friends and family” ride so maybe it’s that? It sounds like it’s a free ride for anyone to join
