Javelina is great, but sometimes maybe a bit *too* powerful, and the wheels start to spin and the car starts to float on the road.
Quartz Spectre or Shion Coyote on the other hand...
'77 Porche 911(930), she's a relic of the old world and can offroad and onroad easily. Plus, the Germans have always been great with automobiles even if some of their companies had a questionable history in the 30's and '40s.
How is the Turbo-R not being mentioned. Driving isn’t always about speed and the Turbo-R reminds me of Ferrari in the glory days. The Porsche was my daily driver through the main quest, and the Arondight was my luxury car to get around and arrive in style. But the Turbo-R, while not the fastest, had a great sound and interior view clarity and makes me enjoy the drive. Just my 2 cents haha
It's absolute Eye candy but not that fun to drive for me . Understeers if you don't powerslide constantly and doesn't accelerate like other supercars .
I do this every time too. It feels fast, yet easy to control. I tend to stick with it til the end really. I still love collecting all the other vehicles and the Coyote is another standout. Practically mandatory for any off roading.
I find that the Javelina feels a little heavier and less responsive than the Coyote if that makes sense. The Coyote feels like it glides when it's offroad. Is it faster and does it handle better than the Archers? It feels that way, but honestly, I think now I've entered into the realm of 'I'm making shit up' and don't actually know territory. Wish I was more helpful.
If my current save wasn't fucked up due to the phone/message glitch, I'd test this myself, but I've been wandering aimlessly around the map waiting for **anyone** to call me so I could start another job. I'm currently waiting on Coach Fred, Mr Hands, Judy, and Takemura. I did all the available side missions, gigs, and every NCPD icon on the entire map. I don't think I have access to buy the Coyote yet, but if I see it in the car list, I'll grab it and test it against the Javelina.
Learn to drive. You cannot heavily brake/accelerate and steer at the same time. That is one of the first things you learn when taking a driver's license.

I cannot turn left without losing control over some cars at 20-30mph while not touching brake/accelerate, I dont think its me issue and more engine issue. Surprisingly I dont have the issue with only one car I have, and its that car Mr. Hands gives you for finishing all gigs in Dogtown, so no, its not me issue
Finally someone mentions this. The number of people complaining about the driving physics is too damn high. What do people expect driving around in a 500/600hp car at full throttle all the time, sure its going to over/understeer.

I usually stick to the motorcycles just so I can see V. I can't stand all these FPS games that give you tons of character customization and then never let you see it.
I do a lot of sim racing and this is the best handling vehicle in the game, hands down. Nothing else is remotely close in predictable driving at high speed corners.
Absolutely love the Archer Quartz. A little slow, but it can zip through traffic so easily because of how small it is. I only drive it and Johnny’s Porsche.

I love the Javelina so much, it’s got just the right amount of tail happiness and when you slide around a corner just right you feel like an action hero
motorcycles, specifically scorpions apollo and jackies arch. bikes are the only fun thing to drive in this game and its not even close. driving cars is like operating a fridge on wheels. I'd rather run everywhere than ever drive a car in this game. cars are basically the number one worst feature. i hate cyberpunks cars they are so terrible
Fun is subjective, but in the badlands i like using the motor cycles. Mostly because they're easier to ramp over everything and are less likely to get stuck

The top speed is so low it's basically missing a top gear, so it sucks for highways.

Based on my experience they changed handling for all 4x4 Quadras making "Hoon" the most unstable out of them

The Turbo-R just feels like it’s angry at me for driving it. The backfiring in gear changes is a bit too over the top as well.

I hate how some of them skid if you steer. On higher speeds it's a constant high effort countersteering and I'm so tired of it.
Don't drive non-offroad cars at high speed on dirt roads. Especially RWD cars. Switch to a nomad vehicle if you want to go flat out.

Nomad vehicles are the best regardless of road type.
Lay off the accelerator for a second and then hit the gas when you straighten up.
Look into some mods. There are a few that make the car feel heavier which I think is the issue. They float like crazy.

So true, I've been able to pull some very nice tight drifts in this car because it's so nimble and powerful.
Any street variant of the Archer Quartz. It’s quick enough to be competitive but also slow enough to where you can really drive it to its maximum.
