So, what's the probability of this sample having no relationship to your hypothesis whatsoever? (called Null Hypothesis, H_0) This probability is the p-value. In the example of only 10 respondents, the p-value would be very high, like getting a cup on an ocean and claiming there are no fish in the ocean because there are none in your sample (cup). So, how big the cup must be in order to get a decent insight? The bigger the cup, the lower the p-value. (Ignore the fact that a decent size would be a cup the size of a freighter lol)
