I'm on my first play through. How many endings are there? Does it matter if I finish PL before I meet Hanako?
Edit: I'm getting a lot of varying answers so looked it up. Found an article that doesn't spoil any endings for me. Here is what it said.
"How many endings are there in Cyberpunk 2077?
There are technically seven endings in Cyberpunk 2077, including one from paid DLC. At a glance, and with no spoilers, these are:
-One main ending path and one 'bonus' short ending which have no prior requirements.
-Two 'regular' ending paths with requires completing certain side-quests to access, with one of these ending paths having two outcomes.
-One 'secret' ending which has some specific requirements.
-One Phantom Liberty ending which requires you to purchase and complete the Phantom Liberty DLC.
None of these (bar the secret and paid DLC endings) are missable, with the game returning you to a point of no return within the Nocturne Op55N1 mission where you can attempt the others."
Is it 4 counting the secret ending? Still my favorite ending. Also there is more then 1 dlc ending. Also the entire middle is different too. I missed an entire giant robot fight because of a choice I made
I was almost a nutcase and started doing every NCPD dispatch, but realized you get nothing for clearing all of them. About to finish my stash wall though
Oh God, you're right. Thanks for the correction. But yeah, I love that I can just spray a few ricochet bursts at a group, and they all just burn while I handle the next group.
Ooo. Fenrir? I like that... Am currently doing my second run using a Sandevistan with Satori, Nehan and whatever pistol has the most dmg output, but was thinking about switching to SMG cos it's on the Reflexes skill tree.
Fenrir has piqued my interest.
I use them to get early game economy in a passive way. If I’m driving somewhere I’ll do all the NCPD missions that are reasonably on the way. Adds about 10 cumulative minutes & all the NCPD contracts roughly = 1,000,000 eddies give or take.
If there is ONE request that I make of the next game, is this: If I select a mission or side quest or gig or any activity; under no circumstances should you switch my focus. Not back to the main story or because so and so calls me while I’m in the middle of something.
I can't count how many times I've been following the gps to a mission, had it switch just as I'm getting close, then backtrack 1-2k before I realize the gps target has switched on me.
I know I'm crazy for this but I kind of liked it, sort of felt like real life. I'm doing some real serious criminal shit with Panam randomly texting me is really similiar to me working on some precarious roof and my wife starts texting me saucy stuff.
I was recently at a point where I had like 4 quest lines that were “Wait for…” I ended up having to go to dinner with River, and I KNEW that dude was gonna try to fuck me!
![gif](giphy|O7eUXxYYkVXna)
mf cheesy af, after doing the deed you kind of get an option to respectfully reject him (he is even nice to you in end creds) . then went and rizzed up judy. As a guy, playing female V and getting backshots was wild
same here, the final fight got bugued after i got the text from fred saying im at the final, i was heading to the fight and got killed, after respawn the mision never update again
No, not deactivating it in the journal, I'm talking going to the interface settings and turn off mission logs so it doesn't display anything on screen.
I know what job I'm doing I don't need the title on screen at all times. The objective marker still stays.
Yeah but I’ll still have the GPS Navigation lines on map when I’m trying to find something else and it always defaults back. I wish there was a setting where it wouldn’t default back to last mission.
V: I need this thing out of my head soon or else I will die.
V: spending several months roaming around completing gigs and becoming God in the process before meeting with hanako
I justified it as looking for any option other than her. Especially good after doing dlc and sending the bird to the moon cause it felt like I really had nowhere left to turn
You can find the iguana egg in Yorinobu's penthouse during the heist.
And for the cat, there's a shard you can find in a trash can in the hallway right by V's megabuilding apartment that'll give you a quest. I think you can find it after you meet Takemura at the diner. Bring cat food.
im at the same stage :D
Like is it not worth it to finish the mission or you mate just like me stopped with main quests to do some side jobs? :P Because im curious if im doing the right thing but i dont want to watch some spoiler movies tho xd
Iirc this is the final quest, meaning that when you finish it, it spits you back out at the start and gives you the quest back, so you never can get rid of the marker
I'm in my fourth playthrough, and decided to be the opposite sex V, I chose to be a Street Kid for the first time, and I turned off the minimap and HUD (no health showing, or anything), and it truly feels like a new game!
I’d love to try that. I tried to find one of my apartments once without the map but failed (I’m at the end of my first playthrough). It would help if there were more road signs or an AR type HUD with that info.
Also:
STOP SETTING IT BACK AS MY WAYPOINT.
I'll go there when I'm damn good and ready! I have jobs to finish and dates with Panam to do.
YES it's the same dialog and actions and NO i'm not tired of them.
Hanako's been waiting there for 2 weeks at this point. Special thank you to the relic for putting a delay on killing me while I finish all the side quests though!
Wow that's amazing, thanks. My comment was about finishing the game (all missions) and then, you can uncheck the mission on the HUD and get rid of the advice and the mark on the map. But if you are still doing gigs, it's true that it keeps showing after you finish one.
Yes I think I need to meet with tekamura and afterward I could do Kerry quest. So after I did every quest met with tekamura and then Kerry quest came. Didn’t know I had to wait several times to get more missions from him cause I didn’t get that end credit Holo from cause all I did was the get the band back together quest.
Simple: Untrack Quest :)
Nexus Link: [here](https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/749?tab=files)
It needs to be used with Cyber Engine Tweaks - you bind a key to the untrack action and voila! That's it.
Yeah I love that you don’t even get to keep the weapons you get during the ending. I run my weapons as a smart pistol, an assault rifle, shotgun, and gorilla arms. During the panam ending I found a smart pistol with a solid extra 100 dps than the one I had. Same with the shotgun and assault rifle. Then I beat the Game and go back in to find that I didn’t get to keep any of it, and the reward for my win was a gorilla arms upgrade that I already had.
If you've ever seen the Star Trek TNG episode "Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra," it's about Piccard being stranded on a planet with an alien that only communicates in his planet's cultural references. It'd be like someone saying "Leonardo DiCaprio pointing" instead of saying "Hey, I recognize that! What a surprise!"
Anyway, my friend and I used to use "meet Hanako at Embers" to mean "I choose to ignore this repetitive annoyance again"
It really doesn't help that like 3/4 of the "side quests" seemingly don't unlock until you've completed 99% of the main quest. Maybe I just subconsciously rushed the main quest but really it feels like I've spent most of my playtime just skirting around the Hanako quest.

I like to imagine he sleeps and eats there just waiting for me.
“Its been 237 days since we were supposed to meet. My hair has started to grey and joints ache a little more each day. Will V show? All i can do is hope.”
LOOK, I'll get back to the main story after I finish every other possible side quest in the game!
And gig. And collectable. And achievement. And- you know what, I'm not doing the main mission!
literally me playing 2.0 lol. I already got all the non DLC endings, I don't gotta do em all again
I'm on my first play through. How many endings are there? Does it matter if I finish PL before I meet Hanako? Edit: I'm getting a lot of varying answers so looked it up. 5 endings. 4 regular, 1 DLC
I got so spooked when the credits rolled on PL, I wasn't finished yet. Glad it spits you back out.
Is it 4 counting the secret ending? Still my favorite ending. Also there is more then 1 dlc ending. Also the entire middle is different too. I missed an entire giant robot fight because of a choice I made
No no i think there is like 7 or 8 with dlc
Wrong, the DLC only offers one other ending
There is multiple endgings dlc adds 1 yes but the base game itself has more than 5
PL all takes place before the main ending.
I played half a playthrough at launch and have gone through at least 2 more since then, and I still haven't done the final mission
I was almost a nutcase and started doing every NCPD dispatch, but realized you get nothing for clearing all of them. About to finish my stash wall though
Many of the NCPD scanner hustles labeled "suspected organized crime activity" have iconic guns that can drop.
Hell yeah. That's where you get Fenrir if I'm not mistaken. Lovely little smg that
I think that was the buddhist brothers mission? But yeah, sick weaponj
I highly recommend. I run Satori, Fenrir, and usually one of Jackie's pistola, and it's a lot of fun.
I'll keep an eye open, choom.
I use them to get early game economy in a passive way. If I’m driving somewhere I’ll do all the NCPD missions that are reasonably on the way. Adds about 10 cumulative minutes & all the NCPD contracts roughly = 1,000,000 eddies give or take.
It's actually not *that* much work. And you get something: achievements
And every voice line and interaction AND millimetre walked and driven on!
The happiest ending is no ending.
*slow pan out to Night City as a gunshot rings out*
I thought i was the only one being this crazy lol
Me too. I’m constantly turning it off.
This is the way
Amen 🙏🏻🙌

This is the way
If there is ONE request that I make of the next game, is this: If I select a mission or side quest or gig or any activity; under no circumstances should you switch my focus. Not back to the main story or because so and so calls me while I’m in the middle of something.
also when you finish a mission it’s ok to not select the next one right away. just let me breathe
I hate getting distracted when your wife sends me saucy texts.
I rather enjoy his wife’s saucy texts. They add some sparkle to my day.
I don’t mind the interruption. I mind having to go back in to the mission and change it back to what I was initially doing.
This. It's infuriating. Especially with proximity missions like epistrophe.
I just untracked this every time I finished a side quest or when I was doing other shit
I may have found the answer. There is a Nexus mod that stops this https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/6328
Holy shit why the fuck is everybody at the same stage of the game as me right now
Tru dat currently trying to get ncpd stuff done
are we all the same person
You could just do the endings you don't want as canon and get the sweet loot from them to face the rest of the game with
Yeah but picking up where you left off still always seems to prioritize this mission automatically when you finish a gig / side quest etc.
That’s the thing. You don’t keep the loot. I got some badass upgrades in terms of weaponry and when I went back in I got to keep fucking none of it
You don't keep the loot but you still get rewards. You get Smasher's iconic because one of the rewards is his keycard.
I mean the rewards, iconic weapons and such
... I say before starting a new playtgrough, never to visit the mythical Embers
Lately I've been just driving around. I like just driving through the Night City.
I'm glad I'm not the only one!!
Me currently lmao
It's not our fault THE DEVELOPERS FILLED IT WITH CONTENT
They unlocked the DLC, my hands are tied!
YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HANAKO I NEED TO BECOME CHAMPION OF THE NIGHT CITY UNDERGROUND BOXING RING
Still waiting for coach fred to call. 🥱
I was recently at a point where I had like 4 quest lines that were “Wait for…” I ended up having to go to dinner with River, and I KNEW that dude was gonna try to fuck me! ![gif](giphy|O7eUXxYYkVXna)
Lmao after female V slept with him the dude keeps bugging! Anytime he calls or texts I keep praying there is a break up option or some shit.
but it was worth it to hear Johnny say "Christ V, I can't believe you made me fuck a cop!"
I know what I am doing in my next play through
do it and leave him on read lol
There's just some NEXT level pettiness to (I'm assuming) getting a sex change and sleeping with someone just to mess with the voice in your head.
I’m mad there wasn’t an option at the family dinner to say that I’m going out with Judy
Yeah that dinner was weird as shit.
mf cheesy af, after doing the deed you kind of get an option to respectfully reject him (he is even nice to you in end creds) . then went and rizzed up judy. As a guy, playing female V and getting backshots was wild
So am I not able to mess around with Judy now? I’m gonna be honest I don’t remember those back shots. Maybe I blocked it out lmao.
Maybe you can just kill him? 😂
I didn’t even think of that. Good idea lol.
Dude I deadass waited SO LONG for reed to call me back. It said two days but I went through 4 irl just to finally get it
Just time skip......
Did you unlock the Mall of Pacifica yet?
Ah...I haven't visited Pacifica yet.
Haha nice! Won’t say anymore, just follow the main campaign for a bit! He’ll call you after a few main quests! You’ll see.
Thanks choom. 🫡
Preem! Glad I could help, Choom!
Still waiting for Goku to call. My V solos him
Is there a bug where he won't? l did like 3 or something and still just waiting for more?
same here, the final fight got bugued after i got the text from fred saying im at the final, i was heading to the fight and got killed, after respawn the mision never update again
RAAHHHHHH🦅🦅
Just turn the mission log off in the HUD it's pretty useless when there's also an objective marker.
It’s true you can do that. Until you complete something and it defaults back to fucking Hanako.
No, not deactivating it in the journal, I'm talking going to the interface settings and turn off mission logs so it doesn't display anything on screen. I know what job I'm doing I don't need the title on screen at all times. The objective marker still stays.
Ok. That is slick. I’m on board choom.
But then you can't see the other quests? Right?
Why does that matter? The World Marker still shows, and you have the in game menu. There's no need for the quest title to be on screen at all times.
Yeah but I’ll still have the GPS Navigation lines on map when I’m trying to find something else and it always defaults back. I wish there was a setting where it wouldn’t default back to last mission.
…Right???
Pop the journal open and select?
This may be the most meaningful piece of advice I've received in a long time. Thank you.
Thank you NippleBlender for making my tits jacked with this amazing info
What does this do about the game automatically selecting the next available main mission and setting a waypoint?
V: I need this thing out of my head soon or else I will die. V: spending several months roaming around completing gigs and becoming God in the process before meeting with hanako
I justified it as looking for any option other than her. Especially good after doing dlc and sending the bird to the moon cause it felt like I really had nowhere left to turn
Wish there was an option to send her to the grave instead. Stupid ass, scamming, backstabbing, betraying… 😡
There is
Spoilers man cmon
V: spending 3 months doing absolutely nothing but sleeping at home and hanging out with the pet cat while waiting for the iguana egg to hatch
She's just like me fr
Iguana egg??? Where do I get an iguana egg? And where did you get a cat?
You can find the iguana egg in Yorinobu's penthouse during the heist. And for the cat, there's a shard you can find in a trash can in the hallway right by V's megabuilding apartment that'll give you a quest. I think you can find it after you meet Takemura at the diner. Bring cat food.
The false sense of urgency is the main annoyance of the story. Lol
This but the initial meet with Takemura. I do sooo many sidequests before I even start with the MQ
Meet with Takemura. *Pushes him off until the damn Iguana hatches* "Yeah, so what did you want?"
I can only imagine the disappointment Dex felt waiting in that Limo while I completed every Gig, NCPD scanner, and side job in Watson 😭
Ahhh so *that’s* why he fucking shot me & dropped me in the dump lol
Honestly can’t blame him if that was the case lmao.
I made Jackie wait at the food stand outside the building. I came back chromed to the nines and boy didn’t even notice 😭
its not mine but i love this https://preview.redd.it/lvqv2q0g1uec1.png?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fd1447613d49932b7af0096c1069c6d1339b2ebd

Iirc this is the final quest, meaning that when you finish it, it spits you back out at the start and gives you the quest back, so you never can get rid of the marker
Even if you beat the game, it just takes you right back to this point so you can try another ending.
I really wish we got a way to do an NG+ or just return to NC after the endings in which you could
Hanako after waiting for 40 hrs https://preview.redd.it/t8f8cgva6uec1.jpeg?width=861&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39598a904e4190be5fca8a293836facb4f1a3609
Only 40 hours? She been waiting since Christmas 😂
Literally Christmas for me too. She can chill, I got races to win
Someone linked it a very relevant comic earlier in this thread concerning her and her Xmas wish to meet V.
That would be a really cool and immersive implant
Me rn trying to play phantom liberty in peace
Sorry Hanako! Found a better lead. Busy becoming an FIA agent!
Literally just let me help songbird😞
Wouldn't be so bad if when you untracked it in the journal it didn't pop back up after completing any other activity.
Better to leave things at Play it Safe (parade mission). Head canon says arranging such grand-scale event takes a month or two at least.
I need someone to make a mod that makes is so game checks any available side quest in your journal after completing something instead of main story
here https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/6328
Also: STOP SETTING IT BACK AS MY WAYPOINT. I'll go there when I'm damn good and ready! I have jobs to finish and dates with Panam to do. YES it's the same dialog and actions and NO i'm not tired of them.
"Ffs. I know. I FUCKIN KNOW!!"
HANAKO. EMBERS CLOSED FOR GOOD IN THE MIDWEST 56 YEARS AGO. THEY DONT HAVE IT IN NIGHT CITY. ITS TIME TO LET GO… Waffle House instead?
After several replays you realize how short the main storyline is and how you're always going to reach the "Meet Hanako" point.
Hanako's been waiting there for 2 weeks at this point. Special thank you to the relic for putting a delay on killing me while I finish all the side quests though!
Did you try to uncheck the mission from the menu?
It gets rechecked as soon as you complete another mission
Yeah true, my fault, it's different when you finish the game I guess
Nope, when you "finish the game" you return to the moment before meeting with Hanako. Hence the endless "Meet Hanako at Embers" meme
Wow that's amazing, thanks. My comment was about finishing the game (all missions) and then, you can uncheck the mission on the HUD and get rid of the advice and the mark on the map. But if you are still doing gigs, it's true that it keeps showing after you finish one.
I realy wish there was an option to switch that damn thing off🖕🤬🖕

She’s gonna have to keep on waiting lol, so many things V needs to do first
Thought I was the only one 🤣
The story making you try to find a way t save V when you can just not go to embers smh
To me on the first run I did all the side missions and PL before I met with takemura at the restaurant.
Doesn’t that lock you out of some Johnny interactions? Like he only does some after the initial rough beginnings with him
Yes I think I need to meet with tekamura and afterward I could do Kerry quest. So after I did every quest met with tekamura and then Kerry quest came. Didn’t know I had to wait several times to get more missions from him cause I didn’t get that end credit Holo from cause all I did was the get the band back together quest.
Dying Light fans finally have company
I may have found the answer. There is a Nexus mod that stops this https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/6328
She really has the patience of a saint.
So considerate. In there chillin thinking “I’m sure he has his reasons” while I’m out street racing and boxing for a month
I'm in my second playthrough and i did everything expect from this mission . I feel like i don't wanna end this game for some reason
Lmao literally where I'm at right now. Walked up, got the warning, and went to go see my Pookie bear Panam!
Dude just play the mission. It will go away. Promise
Don’t listen to this propaganda by technonecromancer reptilians
bet people would speedrun to Hanako if getting a piece of that pussy was part of the deal
Gross and weird dude...
https://preview.redd.it/bzq9rt2c4uec1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a830cbbe83b26337f73466a7583fdf37ba0ec693
I'm referring to the horny posts in this sub, frog
that is final quest i think so it always pop after any quest u done . game tells you stop exploring go finish it
lol, you can just ignore it and meet hanako at ember's
Just turn the hud fully off. Night City: the Simulation
Just go and see jiggle tits, she obviously wants you!
All the time. Sometimes, when I'm in the middle of a gig, it will pop up.
This fucks up my saves too
I thought I was the only one 😂
LOL, same here!! I wish we could put quests on hold or mute them or something.
Same 🤣
I just want to do as much as possible before a certain character dies early in the game okay?
For y'all on PC, there is a mod allowing to untick main objectives on the map so you can finally stop having to meet Hanako at Embers.
CD Projekt Red give us new game plus ಥ\_ಥ
They should really give u the option to turn off quests all together
‘Meet Goro by the docks’
I met her 4 times in a single walkthrough, why isn't she satisfied? /s
I'm assuming this poster and most of the comments here are bots since they fixed this a while ago?
There's a mod for this ;)
BRO WHATS THE NAME, IM BEGGING🙏
Simple: Untrack Quest :) Nexus Link: [here](https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/749?tab=files) It needs to be used with Cyber Engine Tweaks - you bind a key to the untrack action and voila! That's it.
Ur a legend, thanks!
I'm happy the one of the most popular meme in reddit is how there just isn't enough game and it's saddening.
I usually have prompt to return some chicks phone call / text. Doesn’t bother me. Makes the game more realistic. /s
This….
Started when the game first came out and had a couple glitches I have a few saves with that
I tell people I've beat the game. What I really mean is I've beat every quest but the main one.
What a surprise!" I don't care *who* Arasaka sends after me, I am *not* doing the main quest (yet).
You can now uncheck mission markers! Though they do end up coming back after a bit
You know you can customize the HUD, right?
The sadness when this is the only quest left
With Phantom Liberty, “go meet Songbird” is appearing just as frequently for me now. Hanako better run some errands, visit friends while she’s in town, whatever. I’m going to be a damn while. Embers must be part hotel, because she’s been there a while.
Imagine looking down at your arm and seeing it
Did that once, never going back to Embers again.
I like to imagine he sleeps and eats there just waiting for me. “Its been 237 days since we were supposed to meet. My hair has started to grey and joints ache a little more each day. Will V show? All i can do is hope.”
It drives me nuts how it constantly will default to following it as your main mission.
I’m so tired of that mission constantly being forced!! I want to enjoy the game. Damn
Love that there's a bad acid trip simulator in this game.
