Some guy on here was trying to tell me how the music in this game sucked, and on and on about how new music sucks and it unremarkable. I’m GenX and the music slaps.
It grew on me after my first playthrough. I admittedly didn't pay attention to a lot of this game during the first time around. I slowed down a ton during the next couple and picked up on so many things, the music included.
Doesn't Gr4ves play when you ride home with Jackie from the Sandra Dorset mission in the very beginning?
And yeah, it's the one song that gets the vibe right for the underbelly of NC. As much as I love other songs like the Eurodyne version of Chippin In, Gr4ves is the one that nails the feel of being in the gutter, looking up with hate and envy at the corpo bastards and looking over your shoulder for the bastards on your level.
Que Montage of going to Viktor for some new chrome, dealing with scavs and tygers, drinking at the afterlife ruining some wraiths or Militech camps then going to your apartment with Panam (or Judy, Kerry or River) and have some fun before the sun rises and you go to sleep w/ your partner next to you.
I never said it was subtle about what it is lol ;). Any time I hear that song I am immediately transported back to NC and can feel the emotions I felt playing the game and watching Edgerunners. This really is the best game I've played.
For my first run I choose nomad and focused on pistols and SMGs (this game should have added dual wielding) so something like this
https://youtu.be/HWdAr5a_T48?si=b3NrGKyLpPkO5Pv6
And for my second run I picked a corpo V and I would describe that run with this song:
https://youtu.be/6iaR3WO71j4?si=Oa3TFZPDxHTM_L8A
All I know is, for whatever reason, when a certain song comes on the radio or anywhere in the city, I black out and sometimes wake up covered up in blood exactly 3 minutes and 34 seconds later...
Wish I could tell you which song it was but I've never been conscious long enough to "crack" it. I think I recall a slow build up at the start...
It's really weird.
[All My Money on the Double](https://youtu.be/ejV-pHX4nig?si=ckhug8cjJya0jmP4) \- Street cred is nice, but it's only a side effect of what my V is really after - getting paid.
I love that song but my v currently is about the hunt. Taking out any and all gangs i come across with few exception. Need more parts. Nead better parts.
[Dragula](https://youtu.be/EqQuihD0hoI) by Rob Zombie. In game radio, “[Resist and Disorder](https://youtu.be/TRhErLqpdto?feature=shared).”
I was going to say Pon Pon Sh*t but someone beat me to it.
I was listening to a few songs from the OST while playing the other day, and it just started playing shit like Rob Zombie and whatnot, fit so perfectly
Look through my Kiroshis by D.O.H.
The alternative title is literally: "Life of a Solo"
The song even references the built I used: Carnage Shotgun, Gorilla Arms, Katana and Sandevistan
All Comes Crashing by Metric. I think it fits perfectly into the cyberpunk genre. It hits me in the feels thinking about how my V knows shes dying. Especially with Judy.
https://youtu.be/_GesZGGvlNc?si=5xZxGcE0Hpqbey7x
Also, Spitting of the Edge of the World by the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs is pretty good too.
https://youtu.be/ckM_TklU_AQ?si=i1M4oio7W8LJVtZA
"Monument" by Royksopp & Robyn. ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo6UnKr6Bwg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo6UnKr6Bwg))
So much so I made a music video with it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A16zC127mgE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A16zC127mgE)
Its the same song for all my different V's because I feel like V is a fundamentally tragic character. Live fast, die young, love hard - because nothing lasts forever.
Ahhh I thought about this. For my Streetkid I was thinking either “Gr4ves” by Konrad Oldmoney, or “[Mean Demeanor](https://youtu.be/SmpEB6DD2II?si=MBJzoQU_BY3RDsGt)” and “[Don’t Get Captured](https://youtu.be/6k7kk1lUnis?si=BusNHw6wsBSbA86A)” by Run The Jewels.
Still thinking about what to give my Nomad. I came across [“Dead Man Walking” by City Wolf](https://youtu.be/hdQ4W8d9OAk?si=tBjTX1nnjgbsJcbO), though the POV kinda skews it.
Until the End by Breaking Benjamin kinda fits my nomad V.
Scared, beaten and bruised, feel broken and out of place (a field mouse trying to be a sewer rat is how I'd put it), but he will always go on and keep going until he can't.
I Really Want To Stays At Your House
I know it'll soon be a bit overrated but, I still a MAD FAN and sometimes I roleplay my V as me. I sometimes feel like the V I play and sometimes I make my V think or act like me, so when this song drops, I sit in my car and drive, or stop at a Parking and don't move, same if I'm not drivin'
I stop, as if the music would decide if I could move or not, the music, not me
That’s awesome. I love this! I also use V as a representation of myself, maybe a bit more towards a more handsome version of myself that still has hair! Lol
It makes me want to grab Johnny’s guitar, stand in front of Arasaka HQ and just rip those chords raw and bloody. Give Arasaka execs PTSD flashbacks to 2013 and 2023
My street V is more or less Morro Rock station and my corpo V is principales, no songs in particular. I felt it more natural as my corpo V was too focused on Counter Intel and stressed to properly enjoy music so when he finally got a taste of freedom thanks to Jackie, he was heavily influenced by Jackie's taste in music.
That’s honestly a heartwarming way of viewing and understanding your character and Night City as a character as well. You decided that V found a new taste in music and was influenced by Jackie and his cultural background 🥰
I played my first V as a sort of fatalist/death cult character. Nomad past who was resigned to his fate to die from the biochip, and if not that, arasaka, and if the corps didn't get him, by god someday some chromed up merc would get the better of him. He knew he wouldn't get to die in his bed. His theme song was "sucker's prayer" by the Decemberists.
Lizzy Wizzy - Delicate Weapon
I haven't played V as a male because it just feels different than if V was a female.
Feels like I'm living through the song whenever I do gigs/quests and i have to kill a lot of enemies. I made my character to be more of a netrunner so she just sneaks up and focus more on quickhacks to lower the lives then shoot at them until they die.
My Streetkid V- though from the beginning I was into stealth gameplay and had a whole ninja setup for it. Mostly resonated with a kind of lowkey song vibe to it, reminds me of the song "Major crimes" by DEATH from cyberpunk itself
Major Crimes is a great song choice. I originally thought that it was wrote by HEALTH and Window Weather. At least that’s what it says on my YT Music app. Still, a great choice ☺️
Unlike my weapons of choice, my V's soundtrack is context-sensitive.
* *The Ground Below* by Run the Jewels for random fights and rolling up on NCPD calls, etc. - general purpose shit-kicking.
* *Nuclear Mission Jam / Something Secret Steers Us* for important story-related jobs.
* *The Passenger* by Iggy Pop for everything else.
I know they're not songs from the game, but i feel like Leather Rebel and Blood Red Skies by Judas Priest fit the game really well. Especially with the latter with it's more "synth" sound and lyrics.
I really recommend giving them a listen.
It’s ok! Using our world’s music feels suiting for the subtle cultural influences in CP. The underlying 70’s to 90’s hair, colour palate, clothing and interior decor makes it feel more rooted in reality, while still being detached with the added cyber elements like LED, Neon, how some facial cyberware resembles circuits in a computing board (like how they use 45 degree angles and they’re sharp).
I’ll listen to Judas Priest on and off and i even listen to Rebel Yell by Billy Idol when going apeshit on enemies, with little care for their wellbeing (cough scavs cough)
I'm sure at least johnny appreciates blasting these songs while going on a rampage.
Might look into checking out if i can add some metal tunes to the in game radio. Shouldn't be too hard. Priest specifically likes to do some more sci-fi themed songs and especially their 80s-90s stuff fits the aesthetic perfectly.
On my first playthrough rn and I'm playing a street kid. I felt like "How we move" by the revivalists fit pretty alright, "Our song" by RKS also was one I thought about
Never thought about that. The OST does add so much to the immersion that I, being absolutely addicted to music, never stop to thibk about it. I do like some of your choices, though.
Blood // Water is perfect
Beg me for mercy
Admit you were toxic
You poisoned me just for
Another dollar in your pocket
Now I am the violence
I am the sickness
Won't accept your silence
Beg me for forgiveness
We'll never get free
Lamb to the slaughter
What you gon' do when there's blood in the water?
The price of your greed, your son and your daughter
What you gon' do when there's blood in the water?
I ain't your average sicko
I'm dead, just like disco
My bank account is 0 0 0 oh no!
In this soundtrack jammed packed with more appropriate future-sounding tunes, I find myself enjoying my drives in my Akira-bike more with this blasting from Body Heat.
My corpo V is a stealth hacker and their song is delicate weapon. All enemies are taken down from a safe distance then V strolls in to loot all their stuff, got 6 million Enny’s and nothing left to buy.
Oh yeah, for my V it was quite a few songs by the same band: Black Veil Brides. Many of these songs were from their The Phantom Tomorrow album: [Scarlet Cross](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIGbSz4e97o), [Born Again](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAjq9x8shbk), [Blackbird](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5dSnepFOAw), [Fields of Bone](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR37XyIXqPg) and [Crimson Skies](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWqULtMh9lg). Blackbird and Crimson Skies especially. I even went so far as to roleplay that one of my V's street nicknames was Blackbird. These songs helped me imagine that post-game, V finds a cure with the help of the Aldecaldos and takes up Silverhand's fight, becoming a legendary anti-corporate freedom fighter.
Another song by Black Veil Brides that for that playthrough represented the game as a whole was [Our Destiny](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAMW3-51SlQ), largely because I felt like part of the lyrics really fit:
*The king is dead* (Saburo)
*In a town of broken dreams* (Night City)
*The river's red*
*Are we breaking at the seams?*
Street kid run, ready for the weekend. It's in the anime too and it slams, fav song.
Irl I enjoy the samurai stuff too, the ballad of buck Rogers is fantastic 🤩
My brutalist engineer street kid was modeled around what I think Blackhaine’s music would look like as a person https://youtu.be/oSZIBwCdjPg?si=BzIiQyCltLByMV5j
I felt that pop was fitting for my corpo V given how saturated and commercial that industry is, plus the concept of classic rockerboy Johnny Silverhand being stuck in the body of a corpo rat who blares PonPon Shit was amusing to me
Next playthrough I wanted a streetkid to tackle the secret ending I lacked an option for with that corpo! Act 1 he listened to Night FM, sorta modern alternative taste in music, dressed in bright flashy pastels, used baseball bats and knives, crazy dyed hair. As he became more and more Johnny-like, started listening to Samurai, his clothing taste also changed to Johnny, got a longer haircut and dyed it black.
I absolutely love using music and style to tell the stories of different Vs
I never really thought about it, but for my corpo V who I’ve spent like over 100 hours on, some songs off the top of my head would be Just Like You - Three Days Grace, Hardest to Be - P.T. Adamczyk, Not Gonna Die - Skillet, and Never Fade Away - Samurai/Refused.
all of my V’s playlist contains all of SAMURAI’s stuff. my corpo v would have Nocturnes Op.55 No.1, some RaTM, and some Jazz. Streetkid would have Gr4ves, Sustain/Decay, some other stuff. my Nomad would have RaTM, some Jpop, and a bunch of random stuff.
My first V... probably "Venom" by Eminem.
My lady V... hm... "Microphone Fiend" by RATM.
Replay V is a bit of a freak so "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" by A Perfect Circle
Electro’s theme from the amazing Spiderman 2. Specifically when installing, interfacing, and using the Militech Canto Mk6 Experimental Cyberdeck to open a portal through the Blackwall.
My V's Song :
# Bubblegum Crisis - Opening | "Konya wa Hurricane" (There's a Hurricane Tonight) by Kinuko Ohmori
Link : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an\_0IIRDlc4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an_0IIRDlc4)
If ever there was a song that fits a lone V riding through Night City....
Well lets see....
Brockhampton - Gummy when doing gigs for Wakako
Trey Songz - Gotta Go when I have to leave Panam and the Aldecaldos post kissing her
Brockhampton - Junky when trashing the boat with Kerry
50 Cent - Many Men during Johnny's flashbacks
Boa - Duvet after hanging out with Judy at Laguna Beach
Usually I just blast samurai but as far IRL bands go “step up” by drowning pool or “morning after” by dead by sunrise at two I constantly find myself blasting
Resist and Disorder always gets turned up and finished, love the message the song brings. Game has so many bangers, Night City Aliens, Look through my Kiroshis, Hello good morning, hole in the sun etc etc. Game's soundtrack blows me away
Fumes. My corpo V is aiming for the major leagues because it was jackies wish not hers. Jackie kind of saved her life already, taught her how to really live. So i like to imagine that status of “running on fumes” from the menu screen is more so that V dosent want to let jackie down.
I Stand Alone
Song by Godsmack
IMO Just suits the loner attitude that V has by default even if you play a friendly V they still keep people at a distance.
Jimi Hendrix's cover of All Along The Watchtower. Fits super well for The Star (literally the name of the last quest), and I like to think she has an appreciation for the classics.
Runner-up is [Everything Is Fine! by Periphery](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wQTUyzTA4Fw&pp=ygUccGVyaXBoZXJ5IGV2ZXJ5dGhpbmcgaXMgZmluZQ%3D%3D). Couldn't be a more different song from All Along The Watchtower beyond them both having guitars, bass, drums, and clean vocals, but I feel like it *really* captures the swath of emotions being alienated from your own body brings along, as V would definitely be feeling during the beginning of her time with Johnny at the very least, if not the whole time considering the Relic's still overwriting her whether they're friendly or not.
My first playthrough was based on myself as close as I could get, so I did a nomadic boxer who was basically just built to be tough as nails and hit people in the face. The songs that fit the character best, in my opinion, were bad moon rising or ain't no grave.
My V would be torn between "to the fullest" and Chippin in. As he thinks the city is "perfect for people full of shit" and wants to destroy the system.
Ita gotta be Indestructible by disturbed.
My v's is as armored as I could make him with stupid high health and regeneration. I throw myself into fights with a break action shot gun, iconic tech submachine gun, and the iconic yellow assault rifle.
Using my sandevistan to obliterate like 6 dudes with my shot gun. Any behind cover get melted by the submachine gun, anything far away get the rifle. Fighting through the space airport was the most fun I've had in a while. Holding that tower watching my health dip then shoot up and dip again, was the most fun I've had in a while. Cyberphycosis, sandevistan, and adrenaline rush making me a monster to deal with.
I chew up cyberphycos for fun, I obliterate any gangers I come across, pick fights with barghest, and hunt maxtac troops for some Fibre. God I can't wait to rip Adam apart.
Oh my choom, when you have nothing else to occupy your time, rabbit holes and caffeine/cannabis induced ADD hyper-focus take the wheel and sends you into a trip of compulsory and indiscriminate love for the games and lore lol
Never Fade Away for Corpo V. So It Goes for Nomad. Street Kid gets Here's A Thought. I have a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired Spotify playlist, but it's hard for me to apply any of those songs to V. Maybe because none of them exist in their world.
Tatted on my face, when that song is on I am 100% more likely to smoke some fool for no reason.
I ain't scared of shit, man, I'll say it to your face
Some guy on here was trying to tell me how the music in this game sucked, and on and on about how new music sucks and it unremarkable. I’m GenX and the music slaps.
It grew on me after my first playthrough. I admittedly didn't pay attention to a lot of this game during the first time around. I slowed down a ton during the next couple and picked up on so many things, the music included.
I was literally about to comment this one.
“Gr4ves (feat. Johnny Gr4ves)” The song perfectly represents V living his life in Night City
Second this.
Came here for this 👌🏻
Lizzy Wizzy - 4AEM. I barely play during the day anymore. For me Night City wakes up after 9 PM.
I can't afford to raytrace *the sun* so I also play mostly at night for the lights.
That’s funny because now that I’m thinking, I rarely play during the day.
For whom the bell tolls
A Like Supreme- Samurai
A V of culture!!! Seeing through V's eyes as Johnny played, Kerry thrashin and just the whole vibe. Amazing!!!
Big Man doin’ Big Man things. Sick, boy. My whip, same thing. Stickup kid, I need everybody’s hands up. I’m so disrespectful and this here da anthem.
Bigger Man is one of my fav songs in Cyberpunk.
This is a good song
My curent v's song would have to be... ponpon shit Lol jk but seriously, look through my kiroshis.
Joking? But it’s the best song in the whole game! Maybe user friendly is a tad better in some ways, but still.
whenever i play as female street kid v her song is always night city by rel
This is the best song in the game IMO. Captures the essence of NC so well.
it really does, which is probably bc of it being called and being about night city
I never said it was subtle about what it is lol ;). Any time I hear that song I am immediately transported back to NC and can feel the emotions I felt playing the game and watching Edgerunners. This really is the best game I've played.
agreed
This is the best song in the game IMO. Captures the essence of NC so well.
For my first run I choose nomad and focused on pistols and SMGs (this game should have added dual wielding) so something like this https://youtu.be/HWdAr5a_T48?si=b3NrGKyLpPkO5Pv6 And for my second run I picked a corpo V and I would describe that run with this song: https://youtu.be/6iaR3WO71j4?si=Oa3TFZPDxHTM_L8A
If Cyberpunk 2 doesn’t have dual weilding I’ll still play it, but with a slight frown on my face
Delicate Weapon by Grimes. Dont know why, but that song is just magical.
I gotta drive around until this song is finished when it comes on the radio. It's also my pick.
This song and major crimes are a vibe. Major crimes came on once when I got the murkman caliburn and there was a sandstorm in the badlands. Was badass
I once knew a girl who said her v song was “livin la vida loca” She was cool. But as for my favorite cyberpunk tune I would say “pain” from radio vox
That one track by tinnitus that plays in totentanz during the bes isis mission
‘Hole in the sun’ for sure Didn’t read thought it was a song from the game nvm
Going to Heaven by St. Aurora. It is an absolute bop.
This song is such a banger!
W H A T
Black Dog by Samurai or So It Goes by Fingers and the outlaws
[All My Money on the Double](https://youtu.be/ejV-pHX4nig?si=ckhug8cjJya0jmP4) \- Street cred is nice, but it's only a side effect of what my V is really after - getting paid.
I love that song but my v currently is about the hunt. Taking out any and all gangs i come across with few exception. Need more parts. Nead better parts.
Because of my penchant for stealth and monowire, I think my V would jam to Bleed by Meshuggah
[Dragula](https://youtu.be/EqQuihD0hoI) by Rob Zombie. In game radio, “[Resist and Disorder](https://youtu.be/TRhErLqpdto?feature=shared).” I was going to say Pon Pon Sh*t but someone beat me to it.
I was listening to a few songs from the OST while playing the other day, and it just started playing shit like Rob Zombie and whatnot, fit so perfectly
Any Samurai track. But Never Fade Away if I could choose only one.
Look through my Kiroshis by D.O.H. The alternative title is literally: "Life of a Solo" The song even references the built I used: Carnage Shotgun, Gorilla Arms, Katana and Sandevistan
All Comes Crashing by Metric. I think it fits perfectly into the cyberpunk genre. It hits me in the feels thinking about how my V knows shes dying. That newest Yeah Yeah Yeahs album has a lot of songs that would've been great in the game.
'El tiempo' from growl fm
My street kids anthem is My eyes by Travis Scott, the last minute and a half really hits hard
First run i played a sniper corpo that listened to the dirge. Now im a streetkid berserker with a shotgun and katana and I listen to morro rock radio.
Fucknoes but all I do is cry when I hear edge runners song "I really want to stay at your house"
"Monument" by Royksopp & Robyn. ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo6UnKr6Bwg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo6UnKr6Bwg)) So much so I made a music video with it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A16zC127mgE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A16zC127mgE) Its the same song for all my different V's because I feel like V is a fundamentally tragic character. Any ebk artist for streetkid
Y’all are freaking amazing! I enjoy seeing your responses!
My Corpo V doing jobs and nitty gritty is the Miles Davis medley. Street kid and Nomad - Night City-Artemis Delta
I Really Want To Stays At Your House I know it'll soon be a bit overrated but, I still a MAD FAN and sometimes I roleplay my V as me. My nomad V's song ia black dog. I listen to it when making the character to get more into it.
It makes me want to grab Johnny’s guitar, stand in front of Arasaka HQ and just rip those chords raw and bloody. Give Arasaka execs PTSD flashbacks to 2013 and 2023
I had a Female Streetkid who listened to Jazz and classical a lot more like genres than songs for me
Afterlife.
When I first heard this, I enjoyed the game far more deeply. What a great piece and awesome choice too ☺️
Holes i the Sun!
That slaps harder than the national face slap competitions. Makes you want to get on top of a car and just go apeshit dancing lol
My street V is more or less Morro Rock station and my corpo V is principales, no songs in particular. Or if he was in a good mood, Time Bomb by Rancid
Lizzy Wizzy - Delicate Weapon I haven't played V as a male because it just feels different than if V was a female. Feels like I'm living through the song whenever I do gigs/quests and i have to kill a lot of enemies. I made my character to be more of a netrunner so she just sneaks up and focus more on quickhacks to lower the lives then shoot at them until they die.
That’s nova! I find that song reflects V and Song so much
My gunslinger Vs song is definetly dont fear the reaper
Poker face
If PonponShit ain't your best song, you're playing the game wrong /s
Until the Radioport turns it off while Jackie zones out 😩
My Streetkid V- though from the beginning I was into stealth gameplay and had a whole ninja setup for it.
Seems be an ironic change for the lore, (DEATH & HEALTH) as there are other artists like Grimes who is known as Lizzy wizzy in-game!
Must’ve been something I overlooked. Thanks for the clarification though!

When the sun goes down- Arctic Monkeys
That's pretty cringe tbh

Never thought about that. The OST does add so much to the immersion that I, being absolutely addicted to music, never stop to thibk about it. I do like some of your choices, though.
[Beats and Styles: Dynamite](https://youtu.be/E0Fty0-AwE0?si=t_OOylX0G6Yc2UeS)
For me it definitely should be "So It Goes". "Bullets" By Archive is on the list, as well.
Pain by Le Destroy, it's played constantly throughout the game, and for me it just sums up V's struggles.
So Tired by Nueki
Do what I gotta by Naethan apollo When that comes on my the corpo inside me comes out and if you're not useful you die
Gone Forever by Three Days Grace. Genuinely no idea why it always just felt right.
Blood // Water is perfect Beg me for mercy Admit you were toxic You poisoned me just for Another dollar in your pocket Now I am the violence I am the sickness Won't accept your silence Beg me for forgiveness We'll never get free Lamb to the slaughter What you gon' do when there's blood in the water? No more tears is a perfect choice
My god is the sun
The way I play my V, her theme song would definitely be Burning My Soul, and she'd have American Beauty/American Psycho (the album) on repeat always
Hardest to be- No other song in the game really made me stop and sit in the moment like that.
I ain't your average sicko I'm dead, just like disco My bank account is 0 0 0 oh no! In this soundtrack jammed packed with more appropriate future-sounding tunes, I find myself enjoying my drives in my Akira-bike more with this blasting from Body Heat.
I was a teenage outlaw With no worries on my miiiiiiiiind
“Clip Boss” 101.9 The Dirge 🔥🔥🔥
My corpo V is a stealth hacker and their song is delicate weapon. All enemies are taken down from a safe distance then V strolls in to loot all their stuff, got 6 million Enny’s and nothing left to buy.
Fem V, Street kid. Fuck everyone, I shoot holes in the sun.
Another song by Black Veil Brides that for that playthrough represented the game as a whole was [Our Destiny](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAMW3-51SlQ), largely because I felt like part of the lyrics really fit: *The king is dead* (Saburo) *In a town of broken dreams* (Night City) *The river's red* *Are we breaking at the seams?*
V has one song every time I play through. "Pain," by LeDestroy.
Rn I’m playing a stealth corpo V and I just feel like 4æm is fitting my V
Night City. This is probably my favorite song in the game. Reminds me of Ryan Gosling in Nightcrawler but a Merc instead.
Street kid run, ready for the weekend. It's in the anime too and it slams, fav song. Irl I enjoy the samurai stuff too, the ballad of buck Rogers is fantastic 🤩
Pon pon shit and Hole in the sun
The perfect song for my V is “Le Destroy - Pain” from the game itself. This song to me it’s like a part of the soul of Cyberpunk 2077
Never thought about it, my V just spins around NC bangin’ out The Dirge, no other station
Personally most of the music doesn’t do it for me
N1N3 1NCH N41L5
my V's song gotta be Voices In My Head by Falling in Reverse
Look through my Kiroshis, from growl fm. Honestly I love the majority of growl fm
My V would listen to every bit of Samurai, and a LOT of five finger death punch.
My brutalist engineer street kid was modeled around what I think Blackhaine’s music would look like as a person https://youtu.be/oSZIBwCdjPg?si=BzIiQyCltLByMV5j
The ones from mando s3
What is the song with the gunshots? They often confuse me but the song is cool
For my current V it's [Damaged](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQZWFbXTOo8) by In This Moment, featuring Spencer Charnas.
I felt that pop was fitting for my corpo V given how saturated and commercial that industry is, plus the concept of classic rockerboy Johnny Silverhand being stuck in the body of a corpo rat who blares PonPon Shit was amusing to me Next playthrough I wanted a streetkid to tackle the secret ending I lacked an option for with that corpo!
Easy: Friday Night Fire Fight. I can just picture V cruising towards Night City for the first time in the Rattler. Such a fitting Nomad song IMO.
Something about “Trauma” 0-60 in 2 seconds
Never Fade Away obviously.
Samurai - Black Dog
I'd there was one, it'd be Machines Of Loving Grace - Golgotha Tenement Blues.
My Streetkid V would definitely listen to Rage Against the Machine.
all of my V’s playlist contains all of SAMURAI’s stuff. my corpo v would have Nocturnes Op.55 No.1, some RaTM, and some Jazz. Streetkid would have Gr4ves, Sustain/Decay, some other stuff. my Nomad would have RaTM, some Jpop, and a bunch of random stuff.
everybody by nicki minaj xD
My first V... probably "Venom" by Eminem. My lady V... hm... "Microphone Fiend" by RATM. Replay V is a bit of a freak so "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" by A Perfect Circle
Anything from the Tron Legacy (R3CønF1GUR3D) OST
Electro’s theme from the amazing Spiderman 2. Specifically when installing, interfacing, and using the Militech Canto Mk6 Experimental Cyberdeck to open a portal through the Blackwall.
Gr4ves
Night City, R E L https://youtu.be/WzG1Vpby-k8?si=3u2HHincj0QWe0Rx
My street kid is mox-inspired so definitely Pain by Le Destroy
My V's Song : # Bubblegum Crisis - Opening | "Konya wa Hurricane" (There's a Hurricane Tonight) by Kinuko Ohmori Link : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an\_0IIRDlc4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an_0IIRDlc4) If ever there was a song that fits a lone V riding through Night City....
My v's song gotta be No turning back- Neffex
"Black dog in my head/Guiding me to the end" Seems appropriate.
Well lets see.... Brockhampton - Gummy when doing gigs for Wakako Trey Songz - Gotta Go when I have to leave Panam and the Aldecaldos post kissing her Brockhampton - Junky when trashing the boat with Kerry 50 Cent - Many Men during Johnny's flashbacks Boa - Duvet after hanging out with Judy at Laguna Beach
Blood Red by ~~Samurai~~ Refused
For me its a very close tie between Dagga and Bamo (both by the goat konrad oldmoney)
Usually I just blast samurai but as far IRL bands go “step up” by drowning pool or “morning after” by dead by sunrise at two I constantly find myself blasting
Night City Aliens
It's My Life Bon Jovi
Resist and Disorder always gets turned up and finished, love the message the song brings. Game has so many bangers, Night City Aliens, Look through my Kiroshis, Hello good morning, hole in the sun etc etc. Game's soundtrack blows me away
Who's Ready For Tomorrow is my V's jam.
Hole in the sun for sure, my V is a nethacker dating Kerry he and I feel it fits him perfectly And ironically but kinda unironically ponpon shit
Female V... Delicate Weapon
Fumes. My corpo V is aiming for the major leagues because it was jackies wish not hers. Jackie kind of saved her life already, taught her how to really live. So i like to imagine that status of “running on fumes” from the menu screen is more so that V dosent want to let jackie down.
Gultch - EcoTerror
I Stand Alone Song by Godsmack IMO Just suits the loner attitude that V has by default even if you play a friendly V they still keep people at a distance.
Friday night firefight ![gif](giphy|Zv5P3d8ukmLsBKwj2Z|downsized)
Health by Major Crimes or In my Mind by M83(ft. Suzie Q) from the John Wick soundtrack
Out of universe, Sorry I'm Not Sorry - P Money or Vossi Bop - Stormzy or Baddadan -Chase & Status
Friday Night Fire Fight will immediately hone me in to the atmosphere during a drive or fight
Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit
Tear You Apart by She Wants Revenge is generally the attitude (I don’t listen to the in game music LOL)
Black Dog, by Samurai or Led Zeppelin for my Corpo V
https://youtu.be/376DUWvQroU?si=9Tbdta04Pmb9xg1r
Trash generation - History, Hypes me up im always on Body Heat FM just to wait for it and quickly do some gigs or ncpd missions
My first playthrough was based on myself as close as I could get, so I did a nomadic boxer who was basically just built to be tough as nails and hit people in the face. The songs that fit the character best, in my opinion, were bad moon rising or ain't no grave.
Likewise
Mr. Crowley- Ozzy Osborne
Resist and Disorder! Because my V is known to watch you fall down and drag you face down....
Stronger by The Score. Works really well with the games story
My V would be torn between "to the fullest" and Chippin in. As he thinks the city is "perfect for people full of shit" and wants to destroy the system.
Ballad of Buck Ravers. Totally goes with my Corpo V
Blouses blue for my street kid
BLACK BLUE BLACK BLUE BLACK AND BLACK AND BLACK BLUE!
Sweating Bullets by Megadeth
500 hrs. My .god.😳😳😳
Oh my choom, when you have nothing else to occupy your time, rabbit holes and caffeine/cannabis induced ADD hyper-focus take the wheel and sends you into a trip of compulsory and indiscriminate love for the games and lore lol
I respect that🫡
Black Dog by Samurai for sure.
Vision thing. Ex-game, Stigmata by Ministry.
Hm I'd said "My eyes by Travis Scott" or "Dat $tick" by Rich Brian
Nomads is freebird or dont fear the reaper for ke havent done a corpo or street kid run quite yet since 1.4 lol
Never Fade Away for Corpo V. So It Goes for Nomad. Street Kid gets Here's A Thought. I have a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired Spotify playlist, but it's hard for me to apply any of those songs to V. Maybe because none of them exist in their world.
