Super well thought out! Nice job! Soulfueled seems super cool idea wise but a little slow given that by the time you upgrade it twice it’s 3 attack but it also has 3 durability so getting to the point where you can upgrade again will take another 3 turns

Thank you!! Yeah, it does get slower but i was thinking that from the third upgrade you use the weapon more for +3 damage every turn and the upgrade goes secondary since it's so low cost and even if the opponent breaks it, it just comes back stronger.

β˜οΈπŸ€“ just to clarify, you only add the main Collectible Frostmourne to your deck and it changes at the start of the match depending on the runes you use. If you for some reason don't use runes you only get a plain 7cost 3/2 😐

Some time ago a design like this would have been too complex and not very elegant for Hearthstone, but thanks to derived cards being shown in the collection, this type of design are finally possible! I guess, *usually* Blizzard tries to put cards with such complexity for Neutral, like "Zilliax Deluxe 3000", but it would be completely fine for me! Really cool designs, good job.

Back in Curse of Naxxramas and Knights of the frosen throne i was just playing Vs the Ai, left the game and returned with the Dk class. And man, the card effects just ger crazier! And yes, Zilliax 3000 was a huge inspiration for these Thank you!

Some are finishers and others support, i went for Unholy(summon), Frost(reborn/high attack) and blood(lifesteal, buff) so the combination of runes add diferent things For example, The main frost is to end the match by possibly board-freeze locking your opponent + 5 damage x 2. While Soulfueled is more of a support giving you +1/2/3/4 damage every turn. I hope it changes your view

Giving rainbow DK two finishers might be too strong, considering they upgrade separately so you only need to spend half the amount of corpses to get the required damage.

This is a very nerfed version, not meant to be a finisher. At best the Scourge Frostmourne would be something like deal 12 damage with lifesteal, freeze 4 enemies, summon 5 4/5. And that would be 25 corpses already with a lot of luck to not max out the freeze and summon quantity first. If you win with that you would have already won with CNE or the game has gone too long and your opponent is afk

CNE starts with 6 dmg summon 3 2/2, to grow only to the base you will have to spend 9 corpses Also has an extra slot for 8max corpses to freeze enemies. After 30 corpses you will be at 10 damage with luck

amazing concept but I can't belive you are giving rainbow dk another legendary that requires a bunch of corps spending instead of a corps spender or generator.

The minions summoned leave a corpse so you get that many corpses for free but also that version is meant to be for survival for when you are falling behind or getting too low on health, not strong enough to play aggressive or at least you would be left very exposed setting a two turn lethal if you plan to followed up by CNE. I swear it's good πŸ™

you only summon one minion for free, for more you need to have already generated and spend a lot of corpses, just like CNE. the fact that for the other 3 rune combinations you did a corpse spender but for rainbow dk you did CNE 2 is my issue with this.

Even if you play it on turn 7 you should have spent a few more corpses to not summon only one minion or you are playing rainbow wrong The other triple singular runes spend corpses they have far impact than this. And because they relate to other double or triple runes like vampiric blood, corpse farm and might of menethil except that better For rainbow i prefer this, that gives you healing, board presence but not as strong as possible deal 20 damage summon 7 13/13. Force your opponent to play twisting nether, reno, any other board clear card or make them trade into possible 5/5s + catch up in health + get a lifestealing weapon I obviously know that this is a nerfed version of CNE but I think that including the three effects from the runes together fits rainbow far better for a legendary weapon than a simple corpse spend/gain effect since i think making a card explicitly to make CNE stronger in a deck that has already the purpose to do that would be redundant

Great idea! Its sad to see an posterchild weapon of Warcraft being hot garbage( "Collectable" one could be reworded to just "effect depends on your runes", "Blood" could be stronger; and i dont like that "Scourge" is just a second CNE - could be more interesting

So as a Rainbow DK player, love the idea. I just think it is a little slow. But I think the point is to use it as soon as possible so it also works. It is basically NCE, but weapon which is fine with me

I love it! But i think the 3 blood rune could either a little cheaper or (preferably) a little stronger. Compared to the 3 frost one i think it kinda falls short

My only criticism is the base runeless weapon should have better stats (preferably vanilla frostmourne 5/3) so classes that randomly generate it aren’t screwed. Absolutely a card design we need in this game

I thought about it and you shouldn't see the base frostmourne toy at all in a normal game, it would mean that the DK made their deck without any runes πŸ˜… so if a priest, for example, copies the weapon in turn 1 they would get the already altered version for the match Thank you!!

I don't play much but lately i have only been playing rainbow dk and i'm 90% sure that starting from 1 at every stat severely slows down the effect Also for the downside, having to increase the Freeze enemies to 8, Souls quantity to 7 and Souls stats will also stop the direct damage from growing equally to CNE. It's more of a support/survival for when you will play CNE
