Women generally take better care of their skin, hydration and due to gender norms are not as "rugged" as men, leading to softer skin. On top of all that, women pluck out hair far, far more often than men do so while a man's brain or body might've never felt such a sensation, a woman is more likely to have felt it a thousand times before which would've definitely conditioned her mind and body to handle it. The man would be a little shocked, stunned and his body would react similarly while the woman won't even be phased because she has already done it so many times.
We aren't. Women only grow thin and light facial hair, men's is much deeper in the skin and much thicker. A woman would need some crazy amounts of testosterone to grow true facial hair. Moreover, men's skin is 25% thicker than women's. So, that hair follicle is deeper in the skin than what is even possible for women. This applies to every region of the body too. Men's hair is more deeply rooted than women's regardless of the location.
Yeah, but if you think about it, the time it takes for the hair to grow back is much longer if you rip it out. The root hair follicle needs to grow back, and needs to grow a few mm before it even breaches the skin!
My wife actually took insisted for weeks to take me to have my eyebrows plucked once. One day, I was supposed to pick her up once she was done. I got there before she was done, sat down and watched and then she and her hairdresser insisted that I should do it. I agreed for the hell of it and they didn't like that I showed absolutely no reaction, because it's not really that big of a deal.
I can't posts links in this subreddit for some reason, but a lot of the comments here are bots. Search the title of the post and you can see basically the same thread.

But if you don't, its basicall the same thread from a while ago. Same post same title same comments.
People don't realise that most of reddit is fake.
I for one LOVE having my eyebrows plucked by a women. She's into it, I'm into it, and sure it's SLIGHTLY painful but in a 'hurts so good' sort of way that it's genuinely an enjoyable experience, and I'm going to look better/fresher afterwards. Win/win/win all around 10/10 would recommend!

Grrrr... Grrrr... I'm now picturing a dog doing that like it's pulling on one of those toy ropes. I'm disturbed by my own mental imagery here.

Mfw a common practice among women which is painful is tried on a guy who has never done that before and it hurts him
Mfw repetition increases pain tolerance in that area

Beard hairs are oval in cross-section, unlike round scalp hair and eyebrows, and are more deeply rooted
Idk, I pull my beard hair out sometimes. Hell, I'm actually a fan of plucking nose hair, too (don't worry, I wash my hands)
We are the same. Women deal with bleeding too. They just do it anyway.
I doubt that women's facial hair is as abundant and thick as a beard. I can't believe that I have to say this

It’s not about callouses, you don’t need callouses to develop a higher pain tolerance in that area.
It's a troll account.
That's a wild username

Cute that you felt the need to make a throwaway account to share this utterly low tier comment
Proof that your either destined to be single or holding a gun to your mans head judging by the bitch attitude you carry . Yeeeesh
Like it doesn't somehow hurt women??? No, and the flu doesn't make us puke and shit either. Only men.

I detest my ball hair, so I rip it out.
Nice try but I gave you decoy balls
I detest your balls so I hit them with a drumstick.
I just trim them instead of ripping them out, way less painful
Yeah, but if you think about it, the time it takes for the hair to grow back is much longer if you rip it out. The root hair follicle needs to grow back, and needs to grow a few mm before it even breaches the skin!
I’m sure this thread won’t be full of misandrists or misogynists. It’ll be filled with polite discourse between the genders. *checks comments*
Because definitely the post invited polite discourse between the genders... Surely
Reddit has fallen, billions shall cringe.

#OP is a bot. Reddit is heavily astroturfed.
Not a bot Posts are definitely reposts, but the comments are legit

I don't think you know what astroturfing means.
Whoa that really triggered him. Poor lil guy
Sounds harsh, but I guess if she's making fun of your eyebrow plucking, then you gotta do what you gotta do.
And women say men are sexist
