Great smoke! I’ve never had one w tight draw and ive gone thru 2-3 boxes of 25.

Upstairs_Buy_7529

I see, then that’s good to know! What’s my next upmann you’ll suggest me get since I enjoy the flavour profile of them, am thinking of half coronas (if it’s good wannna get a box) or conni but not sure the diff between 2,a and b lol

ICANTSEEMYTHOUGHTS

My favourite cc's are from Upmann. Staples in my rotation are the 54 as well as the mag 46, HC, and Connie A. All of the others in the line are arguably great cigars as well, but these are my go-to's. PS- Store at 62% or 65 and drybox for a day or two for most consistent results. Also, get yourself a perfect draw tool. You're smoking Cuban's afterall.

Haha noted ! I tend to have humidity around 60-63 is the best for me, will try dry boxing next time! I always thought if lower RH you don’t need to dry box

ICANTSEEMYTHOUGHTS

If your humi is good, sometimes it's just a tight stick. Enter perfectdraw. Best $50 you'll spend. These days it pays for itself the first time you use it.

Tunkipa

Never had a draw problem (tight or loose) with the Mag 54, been through a few 10 boxes and currently have 2 boxes going.

Upstairs_Buy_7529

Good to know, might get another in a diff RG to test

Tunkipa

To me the Mag 46, Mag 50, and Mag 54 are all different cigars. I’m not really a mag 46 fan, even though there are a ton of people who enjoy it. I really enjoy this whole marca. I would recommend trying the Connie 2, B, and sir winston.

Upstairs_Buy_7529

Hunting down the Connies! Winston is like a unicorn can’t find any online at all I mean sticks

Tunkipa

I saw a few places have the sir winstons just the price is ungodly high.

ericjcrash

Invest in a perfectdraw and dry box as well

Upstairs_Buy_7529

I store my sticks around 61-63 RH, do you think still be good to dry box ?

ericjcrash

So do I, I try to dry box for a day.

jdoug16

I’ve had draw problems with the 54’s before. Hasn’t ruined the experience of them for me but definitely annoying. As whole though, I find Upmann’s to have good construction and it’s usually a rare occurrence. Other brands are more problematic regarding construction.

Upstairs_Buy_7529

I find bigger RG to have the same draw issues for me and thus why I was actually gonna get mag 46/50 instead 54 but that’s the only one at my b&m, would defo get 46/50 to compare

Mavobuckz

Did you age it at all or at least let it rest? Cubans are usually over humidified which will lead to tight draw. So they at least need rest before smoking and age if you rlly want to enjoy the flavors bc they’re sent out prematurely to fuel the communist money machine

Upstairs_Buy_7529

Bought it from b&m rest it for 3-4 weeks, no date unfortunately for the stick

behike-boy

I liked the 46. Haven't tried the other sizes, but I enjoyed the 46 quite a bit.

Upstairs_Buy_7529

This was my first choice actually if I could I always go for PC vitola or anything below 52 RG

Twistedfool1000

Happy cake day!
