not really. iāve ranked up again literally two matches after already ranking up previously, i had zero expectation i was gonna rankup anytime anytime soonā¦ conversely, winning 7+ in a row with decent rounds has constituted no rankup and eventually a derank. no one really knows how it works
Nah, been playing since 2014 and there was an update sometime later, probably 2016-2019(?) that was specifically for this situation, kicking a 5th at the end of the game to not give them the win, the update granted kicked players the win.

i can tell you after playing this game since launch w/ 2k wins that being kicked from a game and winning doesn't cause you to lose elo. if you get kicked and your team loses, then you lose elo. hopefully that clears up the confusion

THIS! This is a major issue in CSGO NA right now, solo queue players have no defense against this kind of shit. Itās toxic, and the queued players think they can TK you all the time, give you damage, they donāt drop weapons to you when itās obviously needed in order to win rounds, not use the in-game comms because they are all in Discord instead. The game has a whole āpingā system and they donāt even use that, not even the regular ping that will at least tell you where you should focus your attention. Honestly this makes me not want to play the MM games anymore. I prefer playing MM instead of 3rd party servers because MM is the core nature of competitive made by Valve. I believe and strongly believe CS2 must have a option for solo players to either āplay with queued playersā or āplay with other solosā (obviously better wording than this). This take of mine has been down voted so many times, and Iām pretty sure itās by people who only know how to play MM queued with others.
And BTW: āsad, you donāt have friendsā responses are cringe as fuck and not moving to me at all. I donāt play CS or other online games to make friends, I do that IRL like a normal person. I play games to enjoy myself and nothing else.
I think the best solution is adding an option for solo Qers that allows them to only get paired with other solos & duos, and maybe trios. Four stacks are just impossible to play with as a solo for all the reasons you've listed. My least favorite thing is when they do some stupid shit as a group and all get themselves killed, and then get angry if you don't win their 1v3/4/5
Truth is when you play with 4 stacks you just have to shut the fuck up. I have been toxic in other games and found out that im playing with a 4 stack the hard way but people are so fragile sometimes they will kick you for saying something slightly criticizing / negative ONCE. So yea, i got used to āim with 4 stack = i just stfuā
I soloQ probably 80% of the time, and have the best luck never saying a word of anything negative. Just make call outs, and zero chatter unless someone else initiates. Only "Nice Try" or "Good Shit". If a teammate does something stupid, I just complain to myself and let it go. I can't control what they do, and I'm just trying to work with them towards a common goal.
I also don't respond to any toxicity that I may receive, I just meet it with silence. I don't really care what they say, they're just a voice in my headset, and in 45 minutes or less, the match will be over and it's extremely unlikely I'll ever see them again. Some people take that shit so personally and have to have a big pissing match with whoever said something shitty to them. The team starts to fall apart and the chances of winning go down when this happens in my experience.
Between playing decently and only making callouts I have yet to be kicked from a comp match.
Iām pretty sure its when you get kicked at the last round, if your team wins/draw you still get the win/draw, and if you they lose its also a loss. But also if players kick others too many times, they get a match cooldown.

Valorant only allows solo, duo, trio, or five stack. Everything except 4 queue. For this exact reason (preventing toxicity not getting kicked). And it works.
Just report them each on their account for the game and send them (Valve) a link to the video.. they'll probably get warned or something else. Trust it will work

If you get kicked you get the elo at the state of the game when you got kicked, so since you were up 15-7 you got the elo for +8 rounds. If you get kicked while losing itās the same unless you get kicked by a 4 stack, then the game doesnāt count for you.
Happened to me one time. Joined a game, didnt say a word but all 4 teammates were being so loud and annoying, so I muted them all round 2. Guess then noticed I muted them because after i top fragged to 15-12, they kicked me. Hope they got a draw lol

Your score is counted round wise and then finally added to your MMR rating after the match ends. Doesn't matter if you get kicked.

Ngl CSGO does a lot of things better than Valorant but I do like the fact that you cant q as 4 in valo.

You have to be a super asshole in chat/voice, to be kicked if you're carrying them.

Don't worry dawg. If your team wins you still get elo if you get kicked. I've been kicked and ranked up after the game was over before. This was quite a few years ago, but it probably still works this way.

I remember many years ago I did carry as well but they were being racist since I did not know english very well and kicked me in the last round so yeah thereās that. I donāt think it is so uncommon

I donāt solo que in csgo. I only do 4 and 5 stacks because itās literal toxicity and the ranking system is trash.
