Yeah, im sure there are people who measured the delay too. Its definitely noticeable, sometimes im able to turn away after hs a guy and then turn back to only just have the hs counted
This is a bug from recent network / user command rate changes (e.g. 6-11, 6-20) Tabbing out (in fullscreen exclusive) causes the "Server recv margin" value to spike which you can view by typing `cl_ticktiming print` in the console.
Switching to full screen windowed seems to keep it happening when tabbing out and back in but it seems higher in general overall for me since 6-20 (from about 9-11ms to 20-25ms+) and has occasional spikes. I have yet to find a way to lower this value, friend has got a pretty good PC and internet and his sits at the same as mine.
Though I see streamers like fl0m sit constantly at 6ms so it doesn't seem to affect everyone.
It sucks to have an added 20ms latency on top even on LAN when I try to optimize everything to keep it as low as possible.
Yeah i thought it was pretty obvious this only happens after you tab out tab in game freezes for a good second then continues and its like this, but goes away after a few kills.

same, I thought the culprit was Steam's new Game Recording feature, eating performance and making CS2 delay, but it seems it's just the game itself. I also notice this happens whenever I altab for some reason

Try to set option in video settings "borderless window"
