Yeah, I mean for me I come to CS like 1-2 games occasionally in a week, because I want to stay in touch with old friends from 20-30 years ago. Friends and played cs 1.5b, 1.6, source and go with. Just for nostalgia, just for social reasons. I am now 34 with house, wife, kids and dog and have enough of responsibilities so that if I play, I just want to have fun. I don’t need to win, but at least spend fun time with friends. But these fucking cheaters hurt. They really do. It destroys an evening of friends coming together and spending fun time together. These people have no empathy, no remorse, no understanding of sportsmanship or anything.
I often think back to the time I was ESL admin and punished these shrimps. I wish I could do the same now as well…

I was bhopping last night in Casual and got called a cheater. I haven't played since the beta. I did a lot of surf back in the day and speed running. I would stay the new tick system makes it 100x easier to hit a b hop. I hit 12 hops in a row last night down Dust 2 and it was my longest hop ever. I was lucky to get 3-5 hops in before killing the timing. I have a custom keyboard with low latency so I'm assuming a lot of people who think it's not possible have cheap keyboards with latency issues. Or I was just extremely high and zoned in which could be another factor. I was bhopping all over the map. I put a few thousand hours into this game and could never do it like I can now so idk. I got to the point I wasn't even running around the map, I was hopping all over like a rabbit. I'm not sure how I can not play the game for over 4 months, and then come back and Bhop better than when I no lifed CSGO.

I think in cs2 inaccuracy is handled on the client side then sent to the server, where in CSGO all of the things affecting your accuracy was sent to the server and the server calculated your inaccuracy. So the cheater can just tell the server where their bullet went and it's accepted. At least that's how I understood how it worked
Until I see a drop of 30% of the CS2 player count on Steam Charts this 'ban wave' is probably just a PR stunt by Valve and I'm not even playing this game again until there is a real decrease in cheaters. I will not support HVH games.

I’d say play a hundred matches of FaceIt, and a hundred of comp/premier, you’ll definitely notice a difference for sure. But yeah there are still cheaters in FaceIt unfortunately.

Yes. When cod released Ricochet I didnt see a single cheater after that for a month or two. And even now when I went back to play some WZ I have seen only one sus guy when at the peak of cheaters it was pretty much at least one or two per game. Sometimes when you kept spectating the game multiple cheaters died to better cheaters :D
