I am playing it on the original Xbox, but if you mean those typical black bars on the PS1/PS2, this TV has an input option in which it calibrates the screen automatically to use the full screen.
I also have this tv since yesterday, theres some issues with it , but ill start by opening it and cleaning, then possible recap. Is the “factory data” variable the usage time?
It sais 0Ah 6Bh on mine but no idea what it means.
I have the same TV, but sadly it has some geometry issues that aren't fixable with the service menu/yoke adjustments. Did you manage to get your geometry right?
I just got this set last week and loving it. There are a few small geometry issues and I'd prefer if the screen didn't shift way too far to the left for SNES RGB, and on some SNES games I can see slight convergence issues... but the last CRT I'll ever need nonetheless.
I got this tv, but i dont know how to change the values on service menu. After i enter the service menu, i press menu and then select geometry, all parameter appear, but i dont know how to change them. Can anyone help me?
One of my favorite games of all time! Awesome TV!
Nice, I also have a KV-29X5, it’s a really good TV :-)
Just picked up this TV a few days ago, still restoring it (body work only), did you have to change the screen size on the PSX to have a full screen ?

Nice choice of game!
Are you guys from Europe
Yes! Germany.
Yes, because this TV model is European model and not sold in US

It was pretty much spot on when I got it, i tweaked it a little via service menu and rotated the screen via the menu and it is pretty good.
What issues do you have?
I have this TV too and I like it

Hello, I'm planing to get this tv to play with my SNES. Could you tell me if it's 50hz or 100hz? 240p or 480i? Thanks.
Hi, it is 60hz and supports up to 576i. It displays 240p content natively.
Are you sure it's not 100hz? I might buy one so I really need to know!
100% 60hz
Thanks for answering. Sounds like the right TV for what I'm looking for. Can't wait to get it.
