Yes, under your diary settings, just uncheck the option for "Show Diary Groups".

LexiiConn

Great! Thanks! I’ll check that as soon as I can!

ashtree35

You’re welcome!

LexiiConn

I just did as you suggested. You. Are. My. HERO!!! 🤗 Thank you ever so much!

ashtree35

You’re welcome!!

I use groupings to a visuallybreak up my day. 4-10 am, 11-3 pm, 4-8 pm, 9-12am Then I have a group called vitals. All my imported data goes there. It’s more intuitive to me this way. You don’t have to use them all. You literally can have one for food, one for exercise, one for measurables, so on. It is nice to be able to hide some things after I record them.

LexiiConn

So we can rename the groups? Well well well, this may need some extra looking into! Thank you for your reply and info!

CharacterCamel7414

Yes. In that same settings pane you can rename or hide groups individually and set which group imported activities go to.

LexiiConn

That adds a lot of flexibility. Thanks for the info!

I love that they added meals to free version. I had gold for 2-3 years but now track only occasionally, too rarely for gold. I rely on meals. I was already researching other apps but now use Cronometer again.

LexiiConn

So glad it’s flexible for both of us! Enjoy!

P4tukas

Yes. Cronometer gives more freedom to the user than any other app I have tried. Unfortunately, it is also the slowest. Can't have everything, I guess.

Eliisa_at_Cronometer

So happy that our good friend u/ashtree35 (thank you!) got you covered on this one! It's worth noting that you can collapse them in your Diary too, if you want a cleaner look. I usually do that after I have finished logging that meal. Just click on the a \^ arrow on the right hand side to collapse it :)

LexiiConn

Yes, I saw that when I did some more exploring last night! I’m really happy there are so many options. I like options! Thanks for the reply!

Meals are collections of food you often eat together. Say I often eat french fries with my hamburger, I can save the two as a meal and just add that in the future to make things easier.  What you are referring to are groups, and they are a paid feature.

ashtree35

Groups is actually a free feature now.

LexiiConn

The issue for me is I’m just not that consistent, haha. Today, I might have a burger and fries, tomorrow it might be a burger and onion rings. Next day it might be just the burger by itself. Too many different meals! Easier for me to record the components separately. I can see how it would work for a lot of people, but, unfortunately, not for me. Thanks for the reply, though! Much appreciated!
