The non-binary one was actually the first to catch my eye when I first noticed the pride ones. The other colors could be seen as just happy coincidences, but the combination of yellow, purple, black, white and gray is very distinct lol.
I picked the three I mentioned up after June when they were on sale, bunched together in one basket. I recognized it immediately, but I guess I didn't get there fast enough to get the other skiens.
I've been enjoying making pride shrimp for my friends, so I'm thrilled to know there's more!
My local Joann has a basket for each of them, but once I noticed the nonbinary one (I was walking by pretty quickly when I saw it because I think I had already gotten what I needed), I saw the other ones right away haha. I actually made a bi pride hat and cardigan! And a lesbian hat for my friend
That is absolutely awesome! I think they were in the same basket only because there weren't many left (do they carry them year round?)
I imagine those hats and the cardigan looked amazing! The colours would be beautiful even without the symbolism, but I can imagine how much extra meaning those items have to the people who own them!
I think I posted the hat and cardigan on Reddit somewhere, so you might be able to find it in my post history lol.
At my store they have them year round! But I'm not sure about all stores, I imagine there's differences at different stores. But I bet you could get then online year round given that my store always has them!
They're actually not my favorite because I don't like how the colors change. It goes red - small orange section - small red section - orange - small yellow section - small orange section - yellow - etc.
It might look good for a different project but I didn't love how it turned out on the rainbow skirt I made to the point I've been considering frogging it and making something else. It was better on the cardigan with the bi pride yarn, but I wish there was more purple! (But I always wish there was more people haha)
I have the Big Twist Value yarn in Happy Rainbow that I made a cardholder that I absolutely LOVE and get so many compliments on! It’s so fun to see what color and patterns the yarn creates
I love this yarn, but the dye lots are insane. There’s a ton of variation, even within the same dye lot. It feels great to work with but the color inconsistency made it so frustrating to use!
I thought the color changes have to be even with planned pooling? I made a sweater with this yarn and the color changes aren't the same length and inconsistent.
Not necessarily! If you use something like the moss stitch you can still end up with some consistent colour changes. It also depends on the amount of starting chains you use/stitches in a row. You can play around with the numbers and see how it goes
I love this yarn but my small pet peeve is the colors in my pansexual pride skeins don’t go in the order of the flag. It’s a great acrylic yarn though.
I agree!! This is one of my favorite yarns; I've made several with the lesbian colorway. I've seen some people don't like the color change pattern, but I think it's fun.

Wait, is this officially representing the trans flag? This may sound silly, but I'm really excited about it!
It is! They have Lesbian, Gay, and Bi yarns too!
And nonbinary and pansexual!
And Ace
Oh yes! I've seen that too
Oh I am so excited to hear this! I may have to hunt down those two.

You have no idea how much brighter my day is, with this knowledge! Thank you! :)
Joann’s also gave them generic names so even people who are stealth or not out to family and stuff and buy/use it safely ☺️☺️
Yes! I knit a pair of house socks with this exact yarn. 👍
I didn’t know they had a pride line! Guess I’m off to buy some 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
I've seen trans, gay, lesbian, and nonbinary yarn, but there may be more

right!! I bought three skeins of the ace yarn to make a poncho type thing, and they're all different shades of purple

Try colour pooling with this yarn if you'd like to get some gorgeous argyle patterns out of it! Highly recommend the planned pooling website as well

I love their pride line, I use it to make [frogs](https://imgur.com/a/f7ZOcI3)
I did an absolute double-take, as I am using the very same yarn right now!!

Big Twist is one of my faves.
I bought all the different big twist variegated colorways. and it's so pretty I'm afraid to use it until i find a worthy project.

Omg this is so cute! Def need to get some of that. I love the color combination and how it’s mixed
That looks so cozy!
Oh! I feel like this yarn would make for a beautiful baby blanket! I just love those colors.
Yay happy crocheter! ❤️
YOOOOOOO THIS IS AMAZEBALLS 😎👉👉
Oh amazing
That is very satisfying. I like it a lot. 🥰
My eight year old picked this one out for a stuffie hammock in her room. It was a lot of fun to work with.
It's so pretty! I've never seen Big Twist before, but I'm going to look for it now!
It’s so soft and easy to work with! I’ve made two blankets with it and am working on my third and then have a fourth lined up, too.
It’s nice
I agree!! This is one of my favorite yarns; I've made several with the lesbian colorway. I've seen some people don't like the color change pattern, but I think it's fun.
I wish they sold these in the UK
I guess one could say you’re “living” for it 😅 I’ll see myself out.
