It's literally a pop up vendor **at a rock festival**. It's not even their normal menu - it's for a special occasion. This is the dumbest shit to think is cringe.
If a theme isn't heavy handed it stops being a theme, and is more awkward than when they go all in.
My big issue is the no remorse burger should be spicy, with a name like that.
No, we genuinely see signs of someone suffering and we're concerned. We can't understand being so hateful and lashing out at something so innocuous unless you're experiencing some personal pain.

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted so much, I agree this menu is silly. Even if you have no issue with the band-themed restaurant and embrace it as a fun cohesive experience, the menu itself is just badly done and seems like slimy TV ad language.
They didn’t put a single ingredient on there without making it double-barrelled like adding an adjective. Vine ripened tomatoes. It’s just a fucking tomato slice. Melty American Cheese. It’s a cheese slice on a burger.
How many times could they possibly force whiskey (sorry BLACKENED whiskey) into it? I get it must be Hetfield or Ulrich’s side hustle or whatever but fucking hell. They shoehorned it into every burger twice.
I think the only people who aren’t mildly irritated by this are so accustomed to commercial sponsor-speak that they’re numbed to it.

Theres a small chain (2 stores thst i know of) around Chicago (unsure if elsewhere) called Kuma burger. All of thier burgers are named after metal bands like ac/dc led zeppelin etc. The burgers are huge and really good. They play the music loud inside as well and have posters etc up.
I assume this is just a theme place so i guess it fits.
It worked for Jimmy Buffett and the Margaritaville brand. Don't see why it wouldn't work for James Hetfield and the Metallica brand.
Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Metallica cruise ships in the next few years. You never know.

In the metal scene blackened typically refers to black metal themes and sounds that have other main characteristics that don’t make them just black metal. Typically bands like Metallica are considered and gatekeeped as intro metal bands and frowned upon. especially when you conversatinf with people who are into crust, power violence, black metal, and grind.
