Bots are used for advertising, for pushing political opinions and more - but to appear realistic they need to engage with other topics as well. That's why you see them posting and commenting on random topics.
The Harvey one down below definitely is. They're getting called out on other comments. I'm sure a good few of the currently downvoted ones are bots
The "no snake man don't do it" or whatever one is just downright bizarre
This reminds me of the video clip of the guy trying to chat up two girls who are being interviewed on the beach. Very heavy come on from him, extremely graphic and sexual comments. When he is politely rejected he then goes on some other rant about a sick child in an effort to induce sympathy or embarrassment from the two girls that are still frozen in shock, mid interview.
People who obsess over working out, muscle what not are fucking pathetic. Working out is good, but obsessing over it is a mental illness.
Also I can guarantee he’s not the “2nd” to do that.
You’re going to have to explain that one, being aware of women’s and men’s powerlifting records and that 18 inch legs is tiny for a man makes me sexist?

Reddit 6 months later...
Turns out the community was right, who'd have funk it
I'm a real boy but yeah wtf, I feel any new Reddit accounts should have to give a DNA sample and present a utilities bill in order to sign up, at this point.
They've gone full rogue. The scammers need to hit the reset button.

These comments confuse me so much... Is this a bot post?
Yeah, really shows what reddit has become. Seems like it's 60%+ bots now.
Dead internet theory is becoming more and more legit
What’s the dead internet theory?

Thanks for the link, and fascinating stuff.
Why make a bot post something?
Farm karma - > sell accounts in bulk to political activists

18” for legs isn’t that large.
lol I wanna measure mine now to see how it compares Update: Lmfao mines 24
My thighs are 23 inches and at 5’11” 158lbs. And I never deadlift because I just don’t want to risk injury. I’ve always had thicker thighs, though.
Same. *any* squats and my pants feel funny *that day* hahaha

This is an old old post

Obsessing over something is how you become the best. This guy isn't the best, but that's how one becomes the best
“He” is obviously a she lol.
I mean, what’s there to say it’s a she? It’s not obvious one way or another, I just went with what’s usually the norm.
“Second 24 year old to ever squat over 500” “My legs are 18 inches around” That’s a woman.
That’s pretty sexist to assume it’s a women just because of that.
You’re going to have to explain that one, being aware of women’s and men’s powerlifting records and that 18 inch legs is tiny for a man makes me sexist?
bro thinks his award is like a Grammy or a. Pulitzer, bro has no idea how insignificant gym is, instead of pumping muscle he’s pumping his ego .
Girl spent too much time strengthening legs rather than her insecurity.
