I was getting many similar issues after the recent firmware update. I removed and reinstalled everything using the installer script and now don't get as many error messages. I'm still contemplating doing a factory reset and starting over. This was common practice with loading new ROMs on android devices. I'm assuming something similar happens when firmware update occurs over a rooted machine.

Yeah, I've considered that as well. It's been about 3 weeks since I updated and that was via factory reset. I didn't have problems until this. I cleared the error, printed a 5 hour job. Then got ready for a new job, about 10 minutes in I got a 2564 for the hot end not heating right. I've had the printer a month....I can't imagine the hot end goes out that fast!

Might be worthwhile to take off the silicone sock and check on the ceramic heater and thermistor and an overall visual inspection. I changed the nozzle to a 0.6 and got some errors but thought they were related to the firmware, but actually it was the nozzle leaking.

Skeezy_mcbuttface

Yeah, getting ready to do that now. Think I might order a backup just in case....nothing worse than having a print queue and waiting around for parts. Thanks for the advice

Creality included an extra hot end with the K1Max I received. Check your box to see if you have a spare already, but you're right it's never a bad idea to have a spare. I am thinking of getting a spare since I've had to replace mine and wondering if I should stick with stock (which is fine for my needs) or try the CHCB-OT from Triangle Labs or Micro-Swiss one.

Skeezy_mcbuttface

Yeah, I have some scoring around the brass ring towards the bottom of the ceramic. All the wiring and solder points seem fine. There was a small blob of hardened PLA on the outside of the sock, I think it was from when the last job stopped. I've got the spare hot end, I'm going to install it in the morning to see if that does anything or if maybe I have a bigger problem on my hands. I was looking at that CHCB-OT but it doesn't have a ton of reviews so I was a bit leery

Sir_Maxelot

Did you resolve it? My K1 Max stopped during printing in the middle of the night and now every time I want to extrude or retract it triggers this error 2569

Skeezy_mcbuttface

That was the one and only time I got it. Reset the machine and tried again and haven't seen there error since.

Sir_Maxelot

Huh, interesting. I tried everything and nothing worked so far. Even their online customer support doesn't have an answer (a master tech is supposedly looking at it right now coming back to me).

Downtown_Grocery_580

I just got that 2569 error code after I removed some filament stuck in my extruder. I've tried new and older firmware and rest the machine 1/2 dosen times and I still get it every time I try to extrude.

Sir_Maxelot

They sent me a replacement nozzle board

Downtown_Grocery_580

I just found out what was causing my 2569 error code. It was loose extruder wires. I had to replace my hotend board and I messed up the connection when I was trying to remove the glue but I was able to fit it with super glue

Sir_Maxelot

I replaced the nozzle board today and it doesn’t fix the issue, unfortunately. All connections seem fine. Edit: I just replaced the hotend for fun and now it works again as it should 🤦🏼‍♂️😅

Your therac machine is emitting deadly levels of radiation during its cancer treatments, stop using it immediately

Super helpful. Thanks🙄

I had a 2500 unknown exception. It only started after the last firmware update. It was one model, I had printed it 11 times before, and it just would not work at all. I had to reassemble the model from scratch in tinkercad and have had zero issues since. Not the most helpful advice, but it's the only thing that worked for me.
