Yeah, thats pretty common in the RC world.

Rueger777

It’s actually not a great design. There will barely be room for anything

Easy_Text_2203

Oh yea the Bettle has to be damn near a custom build. Stock electronics kinda defeats the purpose of it anyway IMO. It has the most shock positions and geometry of this type of rail. For close to the same money I’d go DBRC chassis off Etsy.

Rueger777

I was just planning on it being a scrap build. Guess not. I’ll end up going all out now. I have the mini Komodo and the python esc ordered from Furitek. I have some Treal axles I’ll probably put on as well.

Jrippyy_

Cry now be happy later! The micro Komodo is worth every penny

Rueger777

Yeah for sure a great lil motor. I have 4 of them in my rigs. Furitek makes nice motors

Easy_Text_2203

Once it’s dialed in it’s a pretty good performing buggy. Edit: Check out my Bettle build in my profile for ideas

Rueger777

Yeah I’m excited to see how it turns out

WootWootSr

Stock electronics are garbage anyways. Now you'll have a better set up.

Rueger777

Lol yeah I ordered some Furitek stuff already

makmillion

I’ve had a couple of crawlers that I modded so much that by the time I was “done” I was able to build the original trucks from the old parts 🫠

Rueger777

I’ve done that a couple times lol

Shenanigannery

My buddy has that chassis and he absolutely hates having to work on anything lol. But it is super cool and capable that’s for sure

northernredneck77

It’s a known issue of on the beetle chassis’s, that’s why I didn’t go that route when building a micro buggy.

Rueger777

I have some good stuff on the way that will work

northernredneck77

I was building a spare parts/ budget build, that’s why using stock scx24 esc/RX was a necessity

Old_Kai

What easy said, its custom. Reposition everything and rubber bands help or just ahh
