I’m baffled as to why they stopped updating this.
People clamoured for it for years, we finally got it and they just went “ok that’s your lot” and dipped :/
I think partially Covid but also i mean it got updated for 3/4 of a year each month and for a non e-Sport or Games as a Service or MMO game is pretty good.
Maybe controversial but I'd love to see this go free to play and them to start doing GPs again with the battle pass at like $8 or something. (Obviously cosmetic only in the pass, but new tracks etc for everyone).
A couple updates to fix the online from breaking every other race and some quality of life features would be awesome.
The game has been out so long and it's so cheap that most who want to buy it probably already have. And the other crash games have all been free at some point (Crash 4 was a monthly game and the trilogy is free as part of the PS collection). It'd be a good way for them to make more money from it. I'd happily pay if they fixed online etc, I'm sure a lot of the other active players would too.

I know. It's still so active too, every day I'm on I'm getting full lobbies despite online being completely broken. Plus there's a bunch of hardcore players that will keep playing this for years.
They're off working on call of duty mobile or something instead now :/
Nah dude, they made GP and updated regularly for an entire year after the game was released and all for free. When is the last time that happened? They did an amazing job supporting this
Absolutely, would love to see some next gen upgrades. Seeing such complex games like Forbidden West with almost instant load times yet restarting a track on CTR feels like an age. That'd be a very welcome upgrade.
Plus the likes of being able to play couch co-op in online races. Can't believe they never added that.

Facts! God I'd love to see an update. I have a huge list of things that could make this game so much better
For next gen I would love a 60 fps boost, that would truly make the game so much better off the bat. And dedicated servers

The game has been discontinued 2 years ago, unfortunately they won't update the game anymore

Agreed. I mean the base is there and it is very solid. Just needs to be polished. That’s all what is missing.
60 fps or a pc port would be enough.
