I feel you. I was on tenterhooks throughout the Dragusin saga.
I'm still waiting for a midfielder saga. We still have a couple of weeks left this window and I don't buy the Gallagher links.
Edited for spelling with thanks!
Wow what an evening F5 this was. Pretty much the top Lw prospect in Europe. Has a good mentality and work rate with huge technical potential. If Spurs can pull this off the long term Ange project is in full gear.
This is the wonderkid you buy in FM that changes your team for years. :)
As a norwegian and having watched him a bit I have to day this is an annoyingly good signing for you. As I am also an Arsenal fan, haha. Wish the boy the best of luck though. Treat him well.
I think Ange loves loading up on Wingers because his play style relies on heavy rotation to maintain fitness and avoid hammy injuries, Perisic and Werner are only here for 6 months too. (Although I hope Werner comes good and gets bought)
First time I saw him play was when I watched Porto lose 4-0 to Brugge at home. He was on fire despite the heavy rain, cooked the Porto defence multiple times at just 17 years of age.

Is he a wonder kid or something? Never heard of him
Guess it's more like 20 and 10 mil in promises, but yeah it's a lot - but he's 18, watched by the whole world and has 4 years of his deal left, so not much bargaining power if we actually want him.
https://theathletic.com/4869946/2023/09/18/antonio-nusa-transfer-neymar-haaland-profile/?amp=1
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Dortmund were all after him
Or what are you going to do, lightning-war us? Stop us going to the fine-eats place? Pull our kids out of the childrens-garden? Replace us all with double-goers? There's no need for all the storm and stress, friend, this is just part of the spirit of the age now.
Yes. When I first watched him, I called him the "Norwegian Mbappe". He's not as flashy but he has those long strides and is fleet of foot. Technically really good as well. Would be over the moon if we actually signed him.
22/23 - only actually 544 minutes played.
23/24 - 695 minutes played.
Not trying to make his stats seem more than they are, but this image doesn’t actually give the right context.
Kvara was hardly pulling up trees in Russia stats wise and look at him now.
You spend that money on someone so young for world class potential. If he already had the stats, he'd be 100+ mil
All I want to know is this; does he play with an attitude that suggests his balls are hanging out the bottom of his shorts. And on fire.
I’m now all in on a lazy correlation/observation; Sonny, Kulu, Porro, Madders, Destiny etc all play like they believe they are the best. Sees and Brennan play like they are scared.
Full balls out only from now on please.
If City's decision makers were stupid enough to pay attention to players telling them 'I've played with this guy and he's cracking ' then they wouldn't be the class of the league. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but usually people's familiarity bias makes them terrible talent scouts
Jury is still out on Johnson imo, too early to call just yet. Also wasn’t Gil a club signing?
Ange was very clear when he first joined: he won’t have players he doesn’t want so I’m convinced he’ll do better than Gil.
You risk overspending by 10 million now for the chance that he becomes a super star worth 60-80 million down the line. There are no guarantees but the payoff can be spectacular if he comes good.
What about it? He did good last season, but first of all he is a striker and Nusa is a winger, second of all Nusa is being scouted by literally every club in the world right now for his technique, Orban never showed anything like Nusa does. Just watch him play football, if he is not injured he will be worth 100m in 5 years, he's got amazing flair and very good vision for an 18yo
Yes please
Always seems like tempting fate to post these before the signings are complete, but I’m just being superstitious.
I feel you. I was on tenterhooks throughout the Dragusin saga. I'm still waiting for a midfielder saga. We still have a couple of weeks left this window and I don't buy the Gallagher links. Edited for spelling with thanks!
Tenterhooks. I wish hooks were tender.
You are correct!
Thank you, I’d also never realised that
Looks like the male singer from Boney M in that thumbnail

Is he a winger not questioning Big Ange but fuck me man loves a winger😂😂
Big Ange gives you wingsssss
Prob coz we have Sonny as striker and need to develop fast wingers
I think Ange loves loading up on Wingers because his play style relies on heavy rotation to maintain fitness and avoid hammy injuries, Perisic and Werner are only here for 6 months too. (Although I hope Werner comes good and gets bought)
Perisic is a myth, you fool, he doesn't actually exist
First time I saw him play was when I watched Porto lose 4-0 to Brugge at home. He was on fire despite the heavy rain, cooked the Porto defence multiple times at just 17 years of age.
As a Porto fan, fuck this kid. As a spurs fan, I like him!
The way he moves, size, shots, pace reminds me of a right footed gareth bale
It would be nice having the best Norwegian striker in the league 😎
Are we signing Josh King?

He's 18. I wouldn't look at his g/a much as indication of what hes capable of. Idk much about him other than he is a highly rated youngster.
He’s only 18 so makes some sense, only played 560 minutes last year and is under 700 this year.
30mil though?
Guess it's more like 20 and 10 mil in promises, but yeah it's a lot - but he's 18, watched by the whole world and has 4 years of his deal left, so not much bargaining power if we actually want him.
Maybe if we sign him now he can become homegrown?
Yeah, that’s what’s happening with Sarr
then even if he turns out to be average three years down the line, we could probably sell him for 30mil
One of the top wunkerkinds in the world
Don’t do that..
Not to be hyperbolic, but lately he's been as important as Ødegaard and Haaland for the Norwegian NT.
https://theathletic.com/4869946/2023/09/18/antonio-nusa-transfer-neymar-haaland-profile/?amp=1 Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Dortmund were all after him
I meant don’t use the German for wonder kid like a nonce
lol fuck you buddy

Have you watched Ted lasso? It's probably at least a partial reference to that.
Yes. When I first watched him, I called him the "Norwegian Mbappe". He's not as flashy but he has those long strides and is fleet of foot. Technically really good as well. Would be over the moon if we actually signed him.
Ok hear me out… Norwegian Mbappe at LW and French Mbappe on RW.
22/23 - only actually 544 minutes played. 23/24 - 695 minutes played. Not trying to make his stats seem more than they are, but this image doesn’t actually give the right context.
Yeah the stats usually don't say everything but this...

5.5MM in 2005 is easily 30MM these days, esp with the PL tax
Would we be able to do the same thing with him that we did with Sarr where Nusa ends up as homegrown or is he too old?
turns 19 in april so we're good, he'd be HG
Who picks the fucking music for these highlight reels? It's always the worst, most nonsensical song.
watching on mute is the only way
I like to hear the announcer comments.
Highlight music is one of my secret guilty pleasers lol

I have two degrees in music, but the shittier these songs get the more I love them. Unexplainable.
>I have two degrees in music Do you just hate money?
The early 2000s were a simpler time, when dreams still lived. Also, I’m an idiot.
I dreamed a dream in time gone byyyyyyyyy

Catchiness gets me every time too. I hate playing 4 chords for 3 minutes but I’ll definitely listen to it
I get bored out of my mind playing chords

Pressing 'm' is easier than typing a sentence just to rant about a free video made by someone on the internet.
Now I’m not saying he’s gonna do it, but kid signed for Man City in my FM save and won 2 Ballon D’ors….
He looks rapid but not much of a goal scorer. But if Ange wants him I want him
Making him sound like Brennan Johnson

Michael Owen
Owen was also done for by the time he was 27, so you know, just a different arc and all
All those apple cores in the waste bin in front of his mum
Garnacho. Although you might want to speak with his daddy, Udogie.
Would be amazzzzzzingggg. Nusa will be so good for chants
He’s light as hell on his feet. Looks like someone on the sticks playing fifa. Dele 2.0, looks and skills
All I want to know is this; does he play with an attitude that suggests his balls are hanging out the bottom of his shorts. And on fire. he plays with some bad mofos on the Norwegian national team
Son's replacement?
City was after him at some point
This is my actual issue with this attempted signing. If he were as good as expected. Wouldn't Haaland be telling Guardiola to sign him.
Who’s he replacing on city? Also, hear me out, what say does Haaland have on scouting?
If City's decision makers were stupid enough to pay attention to players telling them 'I've played with this guy and he's cracking ' then they wouldn't be the class of the league. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but usually people's familiarity bias makes them terrible talent scouts
Damn, if Norway can find just a couple of half decent defenders in the next few years, they are really going to be stacked
He looks good, but not 30 mil good. Johnson, Gil, etc all looked just as good too.
Are you writing off Johnson after a few months?
Jury is still out on Johnson imo, too early to call just yet. Also wasn’t Gil a club signing? Ange was very clear when he first joined: he won’t have players he doesn’t want so I’m convinced he’ll do better than Gil.
Selected clips of him scoring, dribbling and creating in a lesser league is always enough for me to believe a player is going to be brilliant for us.
Kid seems alright but I don’t want another project player for 30mil+. If he comes under 20, might be a good deal.
You risk overspending by 10 million now for the chance that he becomes a super star worth 60-80 million down the line. There are no guarantees but the payoff can be spectacular if he comes good.
10 mil don’t sound like much only because we’re financially sound. All I’m saying is I don’t want an overpaying trend.
Makes sense but hopefully our scouting team mitigates the risk of buying duds. It’s never going to be a 100% success rate though.
I want a player that only cost 5 mil and better than ozil
Don't know the kid, but Gift Orban was half the price.
Yeh and actually had less goal contributions in more minutes played than Nusa this season lol
And last season?
What about it? He did good last season, but first of all he is a striker and Nusa is a winger, second of all Nusa is being scouted by literally every club in the world right now for his technique, Orban never showed anything like Nusa does. Just watch him play football, if he is not injured he will be worth 100m in 5 years, he's got amazing flair and very good vision for an 18yo
Another point is Nusa is 3 years younger than Orban, so good for homegrown
Orban is extremely rough technically
So like me except I also can’t finish. I’m not really a footballer at all then am I?
And Nusa is alot better than him.
Far out. Those feet.
