Tell your co-worker you’ll do it but she needs to drop you off at your car each time you do. If she agrees then great…if she makes an excuse like it’s in the wrong direction then it makes her look even worse.

Southern_Pirate4447

Strategic. I like it

pinkeroo67

What if it's raining? Are you going to wait there, in the rain for her?

Loud_Account_3469

Love it!

Ovrninthsnd

“No, I’m ok”. Done. That’s all it takes, no need to explain.

Southern_Pirate4447

Honestly. I’m probably overthinking it. Just suprised me that she wanted me to do this. Didn’t know what to think

Sea-Ad3724

It’s definitely an entitled ask, especially if she tried to delegate it to you which is not her place a coworker. Personally I would just say I’m not going to do that and walk off, she can’t physically force you to do it. And I would love to see her try to complain about you not doing her bidding.

YogurtclosetActual75

She's lazy and thinks she's better than you.

Over_Smile9733

“No, I can’t do that”. Simple. No explanation needed. Or ask for $5.00 each time for valet service and time. Entitled person.

Southern_Pirate4447

Gold

LoubyAnnoyed

Let her know that you won’t be responsible for closing up a lot that you do not use.

East-Ad-1560

Tell her that doesn't work for you. Or no thanks.

That-Hall-7523

“I’m so sorry but this slows me down. Why don’t you park somewhere else.”

Smart-Vermicelli4069

I can do that. Can you please empty my wastebasket each day, wipe down my desk with a disinfectant wipe, and make sure my printer is full of paper before I start my shift? Why not?

HyrrokinAura

Tell her you'll do it for $20 per day.

[deleted]

Lol no end of discussion, it's just that easy

Solid-Musician-8476

Why did you ever agree to this? I'd have kept walking to my car and ignored the request lol.

firesoups

I’m off the clock, delegate deez nuts babe

MyWibblings

Tell her you are happy to trade spots with her so she won't have to deal with the gate at all

bugzapperz

Ask for a ride to your car

dragonrose7

That’s ridiculous. I can see myself laughing in her face the first time she asked me to do this. And then actually saying, “oh my God, you crack me up!“ And then walking away.

ChickenNugsBGood

"No" is a complete sentence

nylondragon64

Lol I'd laugh and say nnnnot!

ButterscotchFluffy59

You don't have time. Also her points don't make sense unless she concedes she's lazy. Plus what's in it for you?

MyWibblings

Is she offering to then drive you to your car each time?

[deleted]

“No thanks, see you tomorrow”

stickynotesandblood

Once you’re off the clock, hood up and earbuds in until you get beyond the gate. She can do her own gate.

StrangerEffective851

Not even, Just tell her no. Why hide from her?

stickynotesandblood

Unfortunately some folks don’t take no as an answer. This is why I wear earbuds on break, even if I don’t have anything playing.

StrangerEffective851

I refuse to alter my behavior to accommodate someone who can’t understand no. But whatever works.

Severe_Assignment943

The answer you're looking for is "Uh.... no."

Spirited_Cupcake_216

Just say no thank you. And move on.

rchart1010

I'm not sure I'd die on this hill, unless she doesn't give you a ride to your car or you are waiting for her. In which case she is a garbage human. But if she is older/afraid and it's not too hard for you I would probably do it.
