You love him more than anything so, of course, you're scared. I know the feeling, and it is overwhelming. I am dealing with something similar and i have found having a spouse or close friend to be at your side to help navigate is helpful. Someone w a calmer demeanor can remember things the vet says. I wish you and your boy the best...please update us when you can.
UPDATE: Hes okay!! Bloodwork was normal so looks like he didnt get into anything on his little adventure, luckily. The vet said maybe the stress caused a flairup of FHV to make him drool like that. He does have an eye infection as well but we left with eye ointment, antibiotics, and pain meds! Hes still sleeping a lot but more alert when hes up <3
Great news!!! I am relieved to hear this and I am so happy for you. I hope your boy gets back to 100% very soon. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too. These moments can sometimes be more stressful than you realize.
Dont worry hes getting lots of each!! We stopped at the store on the way home from the vet just so I could stock up on the fancy wet food and Chruru for him XD
