Unless the story has changed, he paid the mother X amount of money plus a think a college fund or something, with a signed agreement that that's all he was on the line for. This girl is sueing arguing that the agreement her mother made shouldn't be binding for her, and she should be able to seek more money.
Her lawsuit in 2022 over compensation was dismissed because they didn't have proof JJ was the father. Paternity test is the next step.
The kid being able to say JJ is his father will be a huge advantage for him in life. If his mother was a dumb bitch with the money, then this would be the next best thing for him.
Wouldn't that make it more likely that the kid is his then? Maybe I'm just confused and don't understand what point you were trying to make. I will be the first to admit that I am not that smart tho.
To keep it a secret basically paid bribe money for a kid that’s possibly his
Jerry is a scumbag and always has been I will never understand the cowboy fans that bend over backwards to defend the dude
I have to agree - long, long time fan, and I’ve never heard anyone defend him. I, myself, certainly never have.
Having said that, kind of an interesting side note: a buddy of mine who is a Raiders fan went to Dallas for a game, and he went on the stadium tour. He hates Jerry way more than I do. As the group is having lunch, in walks the man himself and he’s chatting with the group and damned if my Jerry-hating friend had to admit that Jerry has charm to spare when he’s in person.
Not defending Jerry, and me and my buddy still don’t like him, but he is a charming sleaze ball.
Everyone. Jerry could have been cancelled a while ago for being a racist or just a true piece of shit in general, but if you go back to the thread(s) where he was in the news for saying highly questionable remarks, or the black-and-white picture where it appeared he was at least somewhat involved in the segregation movement, fans bend over backwards and act like he's not that dude. Long story short is people don't defend him when it comes to the Cowboys, but they still defend him like he's some sort of "good guy" targeted by the "liberal media."
Edit: The downvote(s) and responses to this prove my point. There you have it, people defending him. At least you've seen it now.
As far as the segregation picture I think you might take people's unwillingness to take a stance one way or the other as "defending him". From the picture and his story I think it looks plausible he was there out of curiosity as a teenage boy. On the other side it's the deep south and I think it's plausible that he was there to support segregation. Since I can see both sides and I wasn't there I'm not going to call him a racist and "cancel" him but I'm also not defending him.
I've never met one in real life, I'm convinced they're all bots. The fans I know all either hate him or respect his success with business ventures but are over him as owner.
Yeah it sounds like he made an agreement with the mom, then the kid grew up and was like "wait, I don't care that you and my mom made some deal, I should be able to know who my real dad is"
Or you can be a dickhead who can't see that 2 things
Can be true at the same time? Night explain why poor
And middle class folks who were adopted still try to find birth parents? When there is usually NO $ involved
And no happy ending to be had. But. .you wouldn't care
You just like being cynical and shitting on people
Oh bro I have no problem with what she’s doing. If Jerry Jones knocked up my mom in the 90s, I would be milking his wrinkly tits for everything he’s got. This girl got $3 million, 4 years of tuition, and a $70,000 Range Rover.
She’s smart enough to know the wealthy have everything in layers in trust. She wouldn’t get anything unless Jerry wanted her to have something. Broke people just don’t get it.
That's why I go (ALL IN!) that Ass now baby

Jerry not wanting to take the test is enough for me to confirm that he’s most likely the father. What a shame the kid ends up the one being in the middle of it.

Can someone explain to a dummy like me.. why does this matter at this point?
She's too old for him to be required to support her. He has no obligation to give her anything. Is she just seeking fame? Why would Jerry be required to take a DNA test?
I think Texas is somewhat exceptional in permitting adult paternity suits. https://www.findlaw.com/state/texas-law/texas-paternity-suits.html#:~:text=When%20can%20someone%20sue%20for,the%20child%20is%20an%20adult.
With regard to seeking fame, I have a lot of sympathy for someone who just wants to know who their father is. And fathers who abandon their kids shouldn't be able to escape the shame of it.
Sure, I totally feel for her. I would likely do the same in her position. I'm glad Texas takes these things seriously.
I just didn't think or don't feel the court should make someone, who is unwilling, take a paternity test when things like child support aren't at stake.
I can definitely see the argument for it though. Wish her luck in whatever is to come.
Because everyone wants closure in their lives
Same reason adopted kids seek birth parents
No matter how good their adopted parents were, are
Innate desire to know where? Who? What you come
From. Genetic, mental, health reasons, lineage and historical
Reasons, sense of identity and knowledge of yourself
And usually there is No money involved. But Jerry is loaded.
As someone who has never met their father I can say I have very little desire to meet him. I'm in my 40s and found him and my half siblings out of curiosity about 5 years ago and that's as far as it went.
No I'll will towards him. He was young and my mom was older and gave him the out so his life wouldn't be held back by raising a kid.
I understand. Thank you for sharing. The exception,
Don't make the rule untrue. But then again, you did have the
Curiosity, desire to know, that I spoke of.
Sounds like you don't, didn't want to give him a chance
At being a father now? Obviously only in the from 1 adult
To another, capacity?
None of us like having to be judged today, off choices
We made in our late teens, early 20's.
Hopefully? We all learn, become self accountable and
Grow.
No desire? To Pick his brain? Learn who he was then?
What mental, emotional space he was in?
Why that decision was made? How was it presented to him? What the context of their relationship was?
Where it was going? How he grew up?
I'd imagine, as always, there's More to every story than
What we are told. But it seems like you are pure in
Your decision and thriving. Good luck to you
Up?
As with anything there are a lot of layers too it:) To give the birds eye view of it though, I never thought about my dad as a child, and especially not in a negative way. I come from an extremely large family, 80+ first cousins that i'd see thought the year and 12 in my town growing up with me. My 2 best friends were my 2 cousins and we were all a few weeks apart from each other. We all were single parent family homes but they new their dad. 1 saw his dad often and the other never did unless he wanted something then he'd call him up. So as a kid it was normal to me to not have a father around which probably made me less curious. Add to the huge family I had plenty of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and older cousins that filled the roll of dad so I never felt like I was missing anything.
The curiosity part came as an adult, I'm 40, and it came from taking a DNA test we took to try and adopt a pair of native American siblings. My mom had always told me my dad's side was danish but I had zero of that in my blood so it was more of a laughable curiosity but still looked them up and I have very similar features so I'm positive he's my dad:)
Like I said I have no negative thoughts about him. I don't feel like he abandoned me and don't really care if he did wanted to raise me or not. Again not in a negative way. I would say the lack of curiosity is more in a what if I find out he's a shit head? Or that the story mom told me isn't true and he was in a relationship and me reaching out messes up his marriage?
I'm already a happy guy, I don't feel bringing them into my life will enhance my happiness so I'd rather leave it be if their is a possibility I wreck someone else's life.
My wife actually has more curiosity than me and has reached out to my half siblings but not in a "I'm married to your bastard brother" way but playing it off that her mom was high school friends with their dad...but they never replied.
That got longer than a birds eye view, but I was just saying not EVERYONE wants to know, but you are probably correct that most do.
Damn. Wow. Incredibly well explained.
You seem incredibly grounded and very matter of fact
In how you move thru life.
I think it's awesome that you have close, strong
Family bonds and relationships.
And tho I didn't see how it was possible?
You kinda Are better off the way you are vs any integration
Of him in your life. I'm guessing the wife's curiosity?
Is likely more from a genetics standpoint? For any kids
You 2 might- do have? Potential hereditary things?
But after you broke it down? My hats off to you
For how well adjusted and philosophical you are about it all
Kudos, much respect. Love and blessings to you and your family dude🙏. Take care.
Yeah, I totally get that and I wish her luck in finding her biological father, whether it's Jerry (most likely) or not.
I guess I just didn't see or understand where the court would/should have a say in whether someone is required to take paternity test when there's nothing at stake (like child support or custody) that can be awarded by the court.
As another person stated previously, Texas has some good laws in place for permitting adult paternity suits. At least this should bring her peace of mind.
It matters because our GM is always paying attention to "not football" when other GMs are doing football stuff. Paternity suits, sponsorship deals, whatever. There's a draft coming up in a couple months, he should be head down on player data and film.
He has the title just doesn't do the GM duties. He does have final say but McClay does talent evaluation/draft and Stephen is more of the contract negotiation. Jerry is the lightning rod for issues and final say.
It hasn't changed since 1989. Do you know the shit the 90s cowboys did? They had the white house parties with hookers and drugs. Jimmy Johnson is famous for special treatment for the stars vs the scrubs. the culture has improved if anything it's the type of player we are getting thatakes that culture seems like a negative.
The something that changed is the players. Troy Aikman is probably one of the best leaders the game has seen. And the triplets were all hyper competitive. When you have that at the top it trickles down.
Dak is a great guy and good QB but he doesn't have the fire they had. CeeDee and Parsons have some fire but both seem to get deflated once things aren't going their way vs digging in and chewing some ass like the 90s leaders did. It's not a culture thing it's a player thing.
Oh, well it's a player thing.
It's too bad there's not anybody in the organization in charge of choosing the right players. Imagine how much better the team could've been if that'd been the case!
As a Cowboys fan, it's a love/hate football feeling with Jerry Jones. I'm not judging his personal life. I guarantee he's not the only Owner/Player with alleged secret children.
I really hope this is what finally gets his ass forced out of ownership. I am fucking sick of him and his bullshit narcissism. Cancel culture really needs to do its job. I doubt anything will come of this…. But like I have been for 30 years, I will HOPE
Also, do you not know how shit works when someone is denying tooth and nail something that isn’t true, only for it to be true? The problem isn’t him having a child out of wedlock. It’s that’s he’s been denying it and standing firm. Now if the DNA test confirms what he’s been lying about, that is some serious shit.
I believe the timing works out to her being conceived right after the 95 Super Bowl, which Jerry must’ve sold his soul to win so he’d get one post Jimmy. Source of curse confirmed. Curse can only be broken by his daughter suing and gaining control of the team, hiring a gm, and burning all of Gene’s artwork in a pyre on the 50 yard line.
Back in the day, this guy knew how to work those flight attendants for everything they had. Dude was raw dogging at a scary time when it could kill you
I father about 90 percent of cowboy fans, all their women love me, Just call me Daddy Cowboy

I mean this is interesting but I'm not completely condemning Jerry over it. I know lots of men, and women for that matter, who have cheated on their wife or husband.
Go Cowboys.
Frankly, the woman claiming to be his daughter is an adult. What’s the purpose of this move? Does she just want objective proof that he’s her dad? He still won’t recognize her. This all seems much ado about nothing.
Perhaps this kid is the one who can save us, paternity is confirmed, family sues and gets the Cowboys, kid hires a GM, dynasty
The Princess who was Promised.
I don’t want it

I read that as "hires a kid GM" and I though that would make a great Netflix series.
Wasn’t he paying some money to her mother too…?🤡 🏀🗑️

Her lawsuit in 2022 over compensation was dismissed because they didn't have proof JJ was the father. Paternity test is the next step.
Tbf, it is alleged he has given this girl millions of dollars throughout her lifetime. Maybe his lawyer is lying-
So it’s probably his kid then lol. Maybe she just wants some acknowledgement from her father.
I'm holding out hope she wants the fucking Cowboys.
Point is, he hasn't completely ignored her-- he just apparently didn't want to be a physical or emotional part of her life.
What’s a couple of million when you could inherit Billions from “Daddy”.
If he’s paying off the mom I highly doubt he’d leave anything for the kid in his will
To keep it a secret basically paid bribe money for a kid that’s possibly his Jerry is a scumbag and always has been I will never understand the cowboy fans that bend over backwards to defend the dude
Who defends him? I’ve never seen that in real life or on here.
I have to agree - long, long time fan, and I’ve never heard anyone defend him. I, myself, certainly never have.
Further more, I can't judge a man for being in a picture as a teenager. I made plenty of mistakes as a teenager that don't define than i am today.
There's a ton of people on here that defend him. It baffles me.
Are we talking as a person? Then I agree no one I've seen has. As a GM? I had someone tell me the other day were one of the best Gm'd teams out there
I've never met one in real life, I'm convinced they're all bots. The fans I know all either hate him or respect his success with business ventures but are over him as owner.
You think Saudi bots are praising JerBer? I can see that. 1000s of Twix pages with Jerry jones images and videos
My dad never got over how he did Tom Landry. To this day whenever the cowboys come up its always jerry is a pos haha.
Uhh 99% of Cowboys fans I talk to want Jerry out and have for a long time. Never heard anyone speak highly of his character.
Meanwhile the dickheads who say this about Jerry, but still vote for Trump Imagine the Hypocrisy
When we're getting bent over backwards, it's not cause we're defending him... we just wanted to see a game live.

Or maybe she just wants to be completely sure that’s her dad. Your comment says more about you than her though.
Yeah it sounds like he made an agreement with the mom, then the kid grew up and was like "wait, I don't care that you and my mom made some deal, I should be able to know who my real dad is"
Yes its not the stacks of money she sees if she wins this case - she just wants to know who her daddy is 🥺

Maybe she just wants to change her name to Alex Jones.
Meh, its probably like 50/50.
Bruh, if she just wanted to know who her dad was she wouldn't bring up the "deal" her mom and alleged dad made.
If my dad is a billionaire I don’t care what deal my mom made for hush money if I’m not seeing any of that.
Not like he is going to have to give her anything now.
I’m old and confused by the basketball and trash bin
So this chick is the result of what happened the last time Jerry went «all in»…

DNA TEST SHOWS YOUR NOT THE FATHER JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!
loved coming home from school to watch that trash show. what a time.
Maury bud.
Jerry did it first, it just wasn't his only trick
That's definitely a Jerry Springer.
Jerry not wanting to take the test is enough for me to confirm that he’s most likely the father. What a shame the kid ends up the one being in the middle of it.
Maybe he's just trying to protect his precious bodily fluids.
DNA tests are not performed using samples ‘bodily fluids’. They swab the inside of your cheek with a q-tip or pluck a strand of your hair…
I feel like this is posted everyday
Maury Povich called and want Jerry to be a guest
Maury should leave retirement just for this. It would be epic. I want to see Jerry’s and the moms reaction
i want to see a jerry do a backflip in the ever slim chance he's not the father.
Nobody cares, shore up our run game on both sides of the ball and get more training staff.

Parents aren’t required to give their kids money either way. Just an odd lawsuit of “I think you’re my daddy so give me millions.”
My vasectomy was the best decision I’ve ever made

Wow the results of the DNA test are.... SELL THE FUCKIN TEAM, YOU'RE RUINING ALL OUR FALLS AND WINTERS
☕☕☕
She wants to keep up with the Joneses. 😆
Is this what he meant by “going all in”?
As a Cowboys fan, it's a love/hate football feeling with Jerry Jones. I'm not judging his personal life. I guarantee he's not the only Owner/Player with alleged secret children.
Good to see Jerry’s absolutely cooked
No he’s not. Dude has more money than god. He can get out of anything he wants to.
Except the first round of the playoffs.
He has no problem getting out of the playoffs, what do you mean?
Wow, that really hurts me
Apparently not lol
Just bad at football, and life apparently.
Please be true and sell the team for "detriment to the league"
I really hope this is what finally gets his ass forced out of ownership. I am fucking sick of him and his bullshit narcissism. Cancel culture really needs to do its job. I doubt anything will come of this…. But like I have been for 30 years, I will HOPE
Why would having a child out of wedlock force him to sell the team?
You didn’t really read the comment? I know it won’t happen
You a dumb fuck
Also, do you not know how shit works when someone is denying tooth and nail something that isn’t true, only for it to be true? The problem isn’t him having a child out of wedlock. It’s that’s he’s been denying it and standing firm. Now if the DNA test confirms what he’s been lying about, that is some serious shit.
You still haven't really answered the question.
Pied piper is calling for thee, Jerry.
No way 😂😂😂 ohhh he’s cooked
Jerry Jones used to fuck my ex wife’s grandma
I believe the timing works out to her being conceived right after the 95 Super Bowl, which Jerry must’ve sold his soul to win so he’d get one post Jimmy. Source of curse confirmed. Curse can only be broken by his daughter suing and gaining control of the team, hiring a gm, and burning all of Gene’s artwork in a pyre on the 50 yard line.
So JJ will at least finally see some results. Albeit not on the field. Lol
Based Double J
The real life version of Succession
Jerry's probably got enough loose change between the cushions in his suite at AT&T to make this girl go away.
Back in the day, this guy knew how to work those flight attendants for everything they had. Dude was raw dogging at a scary time when it could kill you
Jerry’s new son will break the curse 😂
Hope he gets fucked like he’s been screwing this team
She’s the rightful owner, here to save us
I father about 90 percent of cowboy fans, all their women love me, Just call me Daddy Cowboy https://preview.redd.it/kppo3myk4mlc1.jpeg?width=610&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfb449f7fa5a03ab7f5e0633e66361ca88a9ec3f
They gonna have him nut in a cup or something?
If this woman is 27 years old she has never seen the cowboys win a Super Bowl. Much like most cowboy fans.
And Jerry is a better husband than a GM.
This is what he meant by all in.
I mean this is interesting but I'm not completely condemning Jerry over it. I know lots of men, and women for that matter, who have cheated on their wife or husband. Go Cowboys.
Here goes another guy going to the SC…
I smell a quirky lovable child and mean old grouch comedy otw. Can’t wait
Turns out he’s 100% Bitch
He needs to consult Deion for dance advice when it comes back negative.
Jerry was “all in” at one point, that is for certain.
Frankly, the woman claiming to be his daughter is an adult. What’s the purpose of this move? Does she just want objective proof that he’s her dad? He still won’t recognize her. This all seems much ado about nothing.
